I've searched the forum but cannot find a solution to my problem.
I have a HTC Touch Pro in Australia..
I am wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of the little window that comes up when your typing and message that seems to just re-type the word your typing. It has totally no point in being there and it makes typing a message run so much slower. I've tried disabling everything i can to get rid of it.. can anyone help?

look at the bottom of the keyboard, you set it to T9, change it to ABC by tapping that botton

im running NBD 8.0 and i find the touch scrolling kinda annoying..especially in IE.....i try to push on a button and my screen starts scrolling all the way to the bottom...is this supposed to happen? is there a way to disable this? Thanks!
I seccond this. I find it very annoying as well when I'm trying to click on a text message and cannot click on it and it takes several tried to actually click on the text that I want to read.
I really hope there is a fix for this because its more of a nuisance than its worth.
.....i dont even know what i installed that caused it, but my on-screen keyboard changed....it now lacks spacebar, and caps, and some other things......i wish i knew exactly what it was i installed to cause it, but i dont remember smh....i searched around, but never found anything to fix this problem....please help!
also....with my dialer, theres a big delay in when im dialing numbers...it makes it difficult sometimes when im trying to retrieve voicemail and things of that sort...it wasnt always like this, and same as my other issue, i cant remember exactly what was installed or whatever that began this problem....
please help!
BTW why would you use on screen keyboard on kaiser u have hardware keyboard
and i think the delay in dialer is due to some dialer skin you might have installed try removing it......
you changed your keyboard to use the large keyboard with gestures.
(swipe right is space, swipe back is backspace, down is enter, ect)
you can change it back in the sip settings under the keyboard.
lmao, yet smh at myself.....no wonder i couldn't find anything through searching, the answer was TOO easy....
...now if i could only figure out this dialer problem...

I have bought a daxian 999+ today from a friend but i have some questions wich he could not answer also.
1) I have seen on some video's that this phone has touch-flo. However i can not seem to activate it. The manual says:
On any screen push with your finger on the bottom of the screen and push upwards to turn on touch flo. This does not seem to work for me. Do i need to install thos feature or am i doing something wrong.
2) Every time i want to send a text message (sms) my friend his name is displayed at the bottom of the text and he has no idea how to get rid of it he says. Does anyone know how i do this without doing a hard reset.

Had this phone too a couple of months ago and encounterd a lot of problems...
For the touchflo: Probably your friend deleted the file from windows/startup but you can get it back by doing a hard reset (don't know the name of the file anymore, that's why I suggest a hard reset)
For the text message, go to your message settings and see if he has put in a signature...

Do you still have the manual in your hands??? i need it mine came in chines
I just downloaded Solace 1.5 and I have to say wow. This one is great! The only issue I am having right now is in SMS. When I type using hardware keyboard I get this black bar thing at the bottom that suggests words. Alot of times it will just insert the word into the message without me selecting it. Is there any way to disable this? I have not downloaded any other programs, just the rom right after flashing has it already. I have a Tilt, and I cant find any way to get rid of this, tried advanced config, disabled T9, and any predictive text options I could find and it is still there. I love the rom, but this feature makes texting for me almost impossible. I have messaged MBavarian(the Chef) about this, but he is busy with school and other stuff, and I feel I have taken up enough of his time already, so if anybody has any idea what I am talking about, ANY INFO WOULD BE GREAT!

have you tried setting suggested words to 0? might help...
I've searched and can't apparently think of the right combination of words to describe this wonky behavior that is driving me out of my fricking mind.
Here's the issue - someone texts me, I hit the envelope, it starts to open it up, then I switch right away to the keyboard to actually coherently type a response and without fail the keyboard registers the first few letters in the text message and then goes right into trying to match an autocomplete match in the phonebook and kicks out of the text message completely.
The only way to stop this behavior is to sit there like a retard waiting patiently for the phone to reorient itself after opening the keyboard and then give it a few extra seconds just to be safe.
I could kill a midget I'm so fed up with this.
Ideas?
I am having the same problem. Running stock ROM with HTC Black TouchFlo 3D theme. Any advice would be appreciated.
I KNOW others have this issue - come on someone has to know a fix . . ..

I finally flashed a new ROM (EnergyROM Mercury). The problem is gone. I know it is not a fix, but it is a resolution. It was very frustrating. Good luck.
