Dear friends,
Just wondering how to use the conference call function in WM5. There is a link to Conference under Menu, but inactive. When I wants to Hold the call when talking it said unable. I can use the conference when someone calls while I'm taling, the call automatically put to hold so I can use it.
But when I wants to conference to 2 calls at a time where I call, it can't.
Any help?

I just switched from a Treo 800w to the HTC Touch Pro. The Pro has much over the 800w but not the phone application. Unless I'm wrong, you can't make conference calls and when you have another call on hold, you can't swap back and forth. I think these are 2 very important features, especially the ability to switch between 2 calls. So, am I missing something?? Or is the phone app that crummy? Are there any alternative phone apps out there?
You are kidding right!? To make a conference call you dial the first number and then press the phone hook pick up button again and dial the second number. Press the hook button again and the calls are joined. If you meant something else "Happy Halloween"
No I'm not kidding, smart guy. How the hell would I have known that since there is nothing about it in the manual from Sprint.
You didn't say anything about swapping the two calls, genius.
Not a genius. I had the same problem earlier trying to find the 3-way button and thought about it again when I saw your question. I tried it out and it worked. The swap works the same way.
i've got a fuze here so i don't know if it's any differrent but swapping calls and conference calls are real easy. When one call is in progress there's an add call button on the screen.push that to call another number and once it's connected there is a button for swap and a button for conference (among others). Couldn't be easier imo.

thats the thing can the sprint htc touch pro get the interface like this
is there a tweak? registry etc.

I think we need something like this on Sprint as well. I had to have the other person hang up so that it would go back to my other call...
I have an unlocked version of touch pro and I get the swap option in standard phone application
As someone who is on the road a fair amount, call recording was a godsend for going back to make notes. Same for my wife who manages a team of people and her phone calls usually involve details.
Our state allows call recording so long as one of the parties is aware that the call is being recorded. So, we've had a need and we meet the legalities.
Love this droid Charge except that I've yet to find a call recording app. My phone is rooted (so I could do full backups and run LBE Security).
What options do we have on the Droid Charge for call recording?

I would use Google Voice. It allows for in-conversation call recording (Press "4" and GV will announce it is now recording). It's free to setup and will of course allow your GV number to forward and ring simultaneously on your cell as well as office and/or home phone.
I use it every day.

Hi can anyone tell me how I can make conference call on sensation and I'm not talking about 3g Call but I'm talking about 2g I noticed in Call if I click menu button I get option For add caller but whenever I add another caller it put first person on hold and if I click menu again I get the option of merge call but if I click on it it says cannot continue conference call.
My friend galaxy ace can do conference call on 2g and even sensation have the option but it wont make conference call.
I Want to know if there is an app which can let Mr make conference call on 2g if you do know about Any software please write it down thanks

I *believe* that's an option your cell carrier provides.
I have it as an option on my Bell cellphone.
So I hate always comparing this phone to the Iphone just because I love the GS3 but there is something thats been bothering me. On my IPhone I remember that while in a conference call I had the ability to hang up someones line if I was the person to start the call and this was great! The reason Im making this post is because I found it that while im trying to three way someone in the call and they hang up it turns out that I cant add someone else to the three way until I drop the entire call with the 2nd party and recall them back idk if anyone gets what im saying so let me put it this way
IPhone:
I make the call
2nd person picks up
I call the third person
We are now in a 3 way convo
3rd person hangs up
I end the call with the third person and now its just me and the 2nd person
Galaxy s III
I make the call
2nd person is on the phone
I call third person
Third person hangs up
Im still in a convernce call and now I have to end the entire convo in order to get out of the conference call.
