Vista 64bit with PocketPC - General Topics

You guys using PocketPCs, are you using Vista 64bit or 32bit ?
I am going to buy a new laptop, and also I would appreciate being able to have some RAM to run some virtual machines with VMware (with 64bit I can have more that 4MB RAM), but I am also very concerned about using my PocketPC together with Vista 64bit.
Have you had problems when using your PocketPC with Vista 64bits ? Are there any sync problems on 64bits ?
Have you had problems with the PC part of a PocketPC software when using Vista 64bits ?
Chris

I'm running Vista Business x64 with an AT&T Tilt, and I have had no problems. Some people have had issues, though I think for the most part everything should work OK.

64 bit driver for Tornado

Hi there, I would like to connect my device that has just been upgraded to NitroGen's WM6 ROM to a notebook running Windows Server 2008 Standard, x64 edition.
Mobile Device Center found the phone device, Windows says it found a 64 bit driver, but could not load it.
Any suggestions?
Just for the records:
Mobile Device Center started to work as soon as I installed the Windows Desktop Experience feature of Windows Server 2008 (x64).

or
the any possibility to run windows xp table pc on the kaiser?
and i now tha't the vista need a 800mz processor and 512mb ram to run.
Thanks.
I am sure it would be a porting nightmare! Hows your wmvista comming?
Threads have been created about this before. this will not happen.
Kaiser uses the ARM platform while XP operates on x86. Also, there is a reason why a specific version of windows was created for an embedded low power platform. Our battery life sucks as it is under CE
Edit: Just to cover even more bases, the processor in the shift is based off the pentium m (x86). http://download.intel.com/design/mobile/datashts/31690801.pdf
thanks friend, about wmvista i'm whiting for the beta download link it will be publish at the end of the month.
Is the intel Atom processor x86 arch too? What about Windows XP embedded, is it all x86 still?...
Also, Ubuntu Mobile... http://www.ubuntu.com/products/mobile
What kind of language does it suport?
EDIT:
Apparently Ubuntu uses:
McCaslin platform and Menlow platform
Never heard of those

Windows Mobile Device Center is the syncing software for Vista OS, activesync will not work ( WMDC barely works ). It not Microsoft's policy to upgrade their software for older OS'.
Bill did not become a multi-billionaire by making Windows backward compatible.
and also the majority of people on this site left vista to go back to xp ....
I just use virtual machines if I want to do xp or linux on a vista machine or linux and vista on xp or vista and xp on a linux
seems that this is the fact
