pac man theme?? :) or a music theme??? :)

could any body please make me a pac man theme or a music theme that has musical notations flowing through the back ground?? not very fussy xD
thank you
When you say 'flowing' do you mean animated?
Because thats not possible in a theme.
It is however possible as an animated screen saver on the home screen only.
But thats still problematic...
Because as far as I know, you cant add your own animation screen savers to the phone (I might be wrong) So it would mean making a CAB file to replace the ones already on it... (someone will correct me if Im wrong)
Pack man wallpaper is easy. Find my a good picture on the web, And ill make you it. Send it me over MSN haydn
there are some modified animated pics up here, so it must be possible.
hey, i just looked on hd2
go to settings tab, choose "personalize", "hometab background", "animated background" => right soft button => "Album"
now you can choose every animated wallpaper found in your storage
just simply and easy
+1, think a pacman "theme" would be very nice

here is a pacman wallpaper i resized to 480 x 800

Home screen wallpaper

I am decorating my HD2 with gothic style wallpaper. I applied the same wallpaper onto the lock screen and home screen, the one on lock screen display perfectly with high resolution and detail, very sharp and bright. However the same wallpaper displayed on home screen is very poor in quality, blur, flat and not in the correct scale.
Is there any specific size i need to crop the wallpaper to inorder to have it display correctly on the home screen? Thanks

480 x 800
Search for HDWall, also apply HQ Wallpaper Patch for your Manila version.

Sorry, i am not sure about what jive means but when you create a wallpaper with HDWall (it is a cab) is for all backgrounds / tabs of Sense.

Jive = work.
is that means simply cropping or creating a 800 x 480 px picture on photoshop will not display correctly when I set it as Home screen wallpaper on HD2? I change the wallpaper by going:
Menu > Home Wallpaper > Weather Wallpaper > (my wallpaper file)
Does it make a different if I had Cookies Home tab and editor installed? I am running a stock rom. Or it is a must to create the wallpaper with the HDWallS and install the HQ Wallpaper Patch for your Manila inorder to have it display correctly?
Thanks~
It doesn't matter the software you use to create a wallpaper, it just has to be 400x800 to fit the whole screen. After that you create a cab by using HDWall and it will make every tab with the same background, HDWall also makes the wallpaper from the top to the bottom (no curtains), remember, install HQWallpaperPatch (the right one for your manila version) to get high quality background in you screen.
Of course, when you have a .jpg or .png file you just copy it to My Documents/My Wallpapers (i don't know if that is the right name in English) and then from your Today screen you can go to Configuration -> Personalize -> LockScreen background and change to whatever you want.

Doesn't matter, when creating a cab with HDWall you don't need BG4All anymore, no need to uninstall.
Rgds,
thanks! I now have installed the patch and created the cab with HDWall. Home screen displayed the wallpaper perfectly now, though seems to be a bit complicate method to have it displayed correctly. Think I need to spend some time getting know HDWall to use it properly.
Is that means I will have to create the cab on a computer each time when I want to change the wallpaper and no alternative method to change it directly like other phones ususally do? Do I have to unstall the current cab before installing the new one?
thanks for your clear explaination. cheers!

No, you do not have to uninstall first, when installing another one your device will uninstall the previous one at first so no worries.
You can also try Bwizard: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=681341
Another possibilty is changing background wallpaper directly by going to Configuration -> Personalize -> Today Home Screen Background but this way it will only change your Today screen, when you want the same wallpaper in every tab you will have to install BG4All (search for it) and probably a couple of small applications to remove top and bottom curtains.
It's up to you, hope it all will help you.
Rgds,

setting wallpaper question

probably something really stupid I'm not doing but how do you set the wallpaper so it's panning..not fixed/stationary.. I used to be able to set wallpaper that as you swiped back and forth through home pages the wallpaper would show more of the original image... I can't stretch that cropping wallpaper tool the whole size of the wallpaper.. just in a portrait type rectangle shape.... what the heck am I doing wrong?

Non animated Wallpaper?

I would like to learn how to make my on '.apk' non animated wallpaper (just pictures that will go on the
Personalization) Simple and easy to use wallpaper application.
What program do I need?
And the dimensions?
Thanks
Any help please?

[Q] Wallpaper size

Hopefully someone can answer this for me.
Why is it that no matter what size I save an image as that the wallpaper setter always wants me to crop it? I just ran an image through Gimp to re-size it to fit the dimensions of the boot image for the boot image app, bit even at 255x320 the wallpaper tool wants to crop most of the image away. What size image does the darn thing want? Maybe I'm a tech-tard, but I thought I should be able to figure this out on my own.
Thanks for any help you can give me on this, it's been bugging me for a while now.
Can't remember exactly what the wallpaper size is, but I do know I could never get it to work.
Here's what I learnt off another post here.
Download Wallpaper Slide show (Birbeck) from the Market and download any size wallpaper and point the app to that folder, usually downloads. Then select wallpaper slide show under live wallpapers, have it set randomn or whatever you want.
Then you have nice pictures with no need to mess about cropping or downloading exact sizes.
You can change wallpapers on the fly just by tapping on the screen.
Thanks Xoom68,
I'll give it a try.
Try 1920 x 1408
