Does anyone know anywhere that sells such a thing?
so its just a back cover without a cam lens hole...
I have the same requirement. Too many places I cannot take my phone into otherwise.
That alone won't be enough. You'd have to do that as well.
In other words: I'm interested too.

Is there such thing as a back cover without camera hole for the Trinity?
It would be nice to have one, specially for those like me that work on a cameraphone restricted workplace. I know there's still the front camera, but that one can easily be disguised or covered with a small sticker or something.
Any ideas?
TIA!

Very good case, covers the backside completely but is foldable to uncover the camera. Stays in place with a magnet.
i think he meant a housing without the camera hole, not a carrying case
Thanks but even though that case is nice, our guards are not that stupid and they always ask you to take the device out of the case or holster.
I think I will order a normal replacement cover and use some sort of epoxy to cover the camera hole... I'll post my results later...
So far I haven't find any battery cover without a camera hole... I think there is a potential market if someone manufactures this type of accessory don't you think?

Hmm, I know this may sound like a difficult approach, but if you don't find one, you might buy a normal trinity back cover, and modify it to cover the camera. It shouldn't be too difficult (if you've used similar tools before).
I'd pro'bly go with removing the original camera frame (metal) replace it with one with only the loudspeaker hole. Shouldn't be too difficult to make out of, say, sheet metal or plastic.

Well, they may be.
If this was proper security, then surely the guards would realise that most phones today have a camera and would want the back taken off the phone to check?
I can't see any difference between removing the phone from a case and removing the back from the phone.
If this is the security at your company, then I would expect your competitors to have loads of pictures taken by empoyees who have got past the guards
Light hearted, slightly flippant, comment, have you ever tried to buy a phone without a camera these days?
All this so called security which we have to put up with is basically nonsense. They will confiscate a camera phone but not notice a Sony digicam hidden in your sandwich box.
Coincidently, my employer has just given me a brand new Nokia for work. I don't know what it is - it does not have a camera, and has a torch light on it instead!
LOL this may get dropped or lost in the next few days
fake sense of security people need to lighten up and notice
how poor most camphones quality is
I rarely take pictures with my sensation but the other day my wife and I were out and I decided to take some pictures when i noticed a dot on the screen. Initially i thought the dust was on the outside of the lense so I simply tried blowing it off, then I tried wiping, then figured out it has to be under the lense. I know for sure its dust because when i zoom in on the camera it looks like a big ass black cotton ball. How do I get this one speck of dust out from under the lens ? I think I can take a duster can to it but is there a way to take the lens off then place it back without any damage?
thanks in advance guys
I have the same problem. Came here hoping there is solution
I've heard some people removing the lense with a tiny screwdriver.
If you look at the top right of the lense, there's a tiny gap where you should be able to remove the uppest lense.
Even though it might sound possible, this operation requires a lot of caution. Personally, I wouldn't recommend doing this as it probably voids your warranty.
Htc should be able to solve this problem for free, as dust shouldn't be able to get inside the camera.
After trying to clean the dust gathered in the camera (Thanks HTC for not covering it) my lens got scratched somehow. I can take pictures and haven't noticed any flaws or bad photos but the focus seems a little bit weird now. Close things to the camera don't focus very well and I think it's the scratches fault.
Did anyone here replace their Sensation camera some time? Was it easy? They are cheap at eBay, and I replaced some iPhone cameras before. Or is there some DIY to remove lens scratches? Please let me know what can be done. :banghead:
The sensations camera does not focus well with near objects. So changing the lens may not help.
I'm super careful with my devices and I've never had one broke on me (since the AT&T Tilt) until now! I don't know how, but a small puncture broke my camera lens cover.
Anyway, I read that the S6 has the same lens cover, so I ordered one of those. Going to try to replace it tonight. *crosses fingers*
It seems this is a fairly common issue with Samsung phones, sadly. Anyone else have any experiences?
Any update on this? I also broke my Note 5 Camera lens cover and wondering if the S6 lens cover will fix
I tried taking the back off and it's a pain in the ass! I bought a kit (thin metal, suction cup, etc) and still no luck.
Going to try one more time tonight. If that doesn't work, I'm going to bring it to a repair shop and let them get it off, then try the fix.

I imagine that would be a pain. Keep us updated, I'm sure this question will come up again.
Also check to see if it focuses and take clear shots. I know some lens cover were plastic and many people reported focusing issue.
Hi all
I have a few annoying scratches on my rear camera lens cover (whatever it is glass or plastic?). Can this part be replaced without having to replace the whole camera module?
I can't seem to find this part listed anywhere on aliexpress or ebay. Plenty of these are available but they look more like a cover to be put on top of the original rear camera.

Or are they actually the replacement for the original cover? Please someone helps enlighten me
Thanks
Or is it actually part of the back cover? I can't quite make it out from all pictures I saw on the internet.
Will take the back cover off and see for myself tonight. In the meantime if anyone has anything to share, that'd be much appreciated too

You probably noticed already that it's part of the bacover. I replaced mine for the same reason, but I wouldn't expect it's waterproof anymore, so please don't drop it into the toilet
Original back cover.
