Hi there people.
I'm flashed my brazilian S711 with NEO ROM ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401587 ), but I really liked the Sliding Panels home screen from CLEAN ROM ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=414416 ).
I want to use all the programs pre-installed with NEO ROM (Total Commander, Opera Mini, etc) with the original Sliding Panels from CLEAN ROM.
Is there a way to extract CHome screen dll's, xml's, etc from the CLEAN ROM and use it on NEO ROM? Where can I find more info to do this?
Thanks
It's not compatible, because NEO rom runs under WM6.0 and slidings panels on WM6.1.
Sorry.
Well, I guess it's easier to install all those nice app's on the clean rom
Thanks for the reply fireburned!
BTW, nice ROM works perfectly on my S711. Waaaay better than original one!

The New Guava ROM by Dr.Gonzo. (WM6.0)
Best bet.
I doube it... In my vox and guava 6.0 gadu-gadu didn't want to "show" contact status when I was conected and it was blank white screen when I wanted to unlock keyboard I have now 6.1 96dpi and no problems:] And it looks nice too
It depends on your needs...
Try to flash your device with several roms instead of asking to other people.....

Well I would say that there isnt anything to disagree with when it comes to the fastest and most stabile rom but ok ill waste some time reflashing a few roms ^^

The ROMs currently used by everyone haunting this forum are based on Dr. Gonzo's roms. Either the latest WM 6.0 New Guava rom or the WM 6.1 v 1.1 rom. And they are both stable (which is something no other cook can ruin, unless they are completely out of it and then nobody will use their rom) and contain everything you need to have a functional phone. The most used ones are ZEshee's 96 dpi ROM (based on gonzo's 6.1 rom) and gonzo's 6.1 rom.
I say flash both of these and see if you like the smaller characters of the 96 dpi one more. I f you don't, Gonzo's rom is best.
And this is not about personal preference. Gonzo was the best cook that ever came to this forum. And we all thank him a lot.

It's not a waste of time, a rom which probably would fit perfectly for your needs, probably doesn't fit for an other person....
Hey guys!!
Im a new user to Vox (S710) got it from my work and now want to upgrade it to WM 6.1.
I need a clean but stable ROM, can one of you guys point me to the best ROM there is.
Also, do i have to change the SPL thingie etc?
Thanks!!!
i reccomend firburned's wm6.1 clean rom v.1-3
ve never had any problems with it!
its quite fast
Yes, for 6.1 you will have to do USPL! Look in the Wiki for detailed instructions!
You can also go for fh's Rose 0.4 ROM which is also very stable and lightning fast. I used both fb's ROM adn fh's Rose 0.4 with loads of apps and both of them are rock solid. Its your pick. The fonts are different in the ROM and Rose ROM is prettier.
Iam looking for a wm 6.5 cooked rom .I do not want manila2d , chome , motohome. I only want htc home and homescreen ++.
Any advice please?
ROM Development is not for request a ROM, use the search, read the ROM threads flash and find the ROM that best suits you..
I very much doubt you will find only HTC Home since it's an old Home screen plugin not used by most, but you could find a light 6.5 and install yourself..
On that note thread closed.
Hi,
I've flashed my Mega and now have Fatherjack360's Windows Mobile 6.5.5 Clean Base Rom (Build 23541), which is very nice, but it doesn't have TouchFlo 2D included like my old 6.5 ROM had, and I'd rather like to be able to have the choice. Any clues as to how I go about adding it? I can find themes for it, but not the actual application itself. Any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers,
Matt
Pff, my first reaction would be to flash another Rom with TF2D included.......you can install seperately....see here....http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=541750 but you run the risk of issues.....
See if it works...
Hi Frank, and thanks for the advice. I've followed your first reaction and flashed Chriss1983's Glass ROM instead, so I now have TF2D back
Glad to be of help.....
