Device Lock -- link/shortcut or application name? - Touch Pro, Fuze General

I am looking for the application name, or link/shortcut, to the "Device Lock" setting in start > Settings > Personal tab > Today > Items tab > Device Lock menu item...??? This is the same "lock device" setting that you can enable in the Long press End Key setting also.
I need the application name or link/shortcut that will trigger the "Device Lock" application as I want to assign the PTT button press to lock my device.
Any help or information will be appreciated, please.
P.S. I am NOT referring to the Lock application under Start > Settings > Lock
Thank you,
Cameron
phone: AT&T HTC Fuze (HTC Touch Pro)

Check AE Button Plus. This one is amazing... only it is not free

I'm looking for the same thing.
Anyone have any info on the link/program name for the "lock device" function?
Thanks,
Gramps

Wake windows using any button - not just power button

Hi all,
I was using TNT version for quite a while and there was an option to active windows from sleep by using any button of the device and not just the power button. Now that I bought LG KS20 I cannot find this option in the original rom!
Do you think I could enable this feature somehow?
go to:
start > Settings > Personal > Buttons > Select "Lock" Tab > Select "Do not lock buttons"
Hi!
I'm afraid it's not there. The Lock feature has two option tabs: Password and Reminder (I'm translating from Greek so this may vary from the actual English text). For some reason it seems to be hidden. Any ideas on how to enable this feature?
very good question, i'm also very interesed !

Can we add widgets on lock screen after update?

Can we add widgets on lock screen after update to 4.0.4?if yes pls tell me how...
Just tried it out and it seems i can only add Appz and not actual widgets ? Try this .....
Settings >
Security >
Screen lock >
Swipe >
Lock screen options >
Shortcuts >
Then select your Appz by clicking on the icons and add what you want from your list.
Hope that helps
Buddy as soon i select swipe it returns back to security screen and do not ask for anything further.......
This is what i did , have you got the short cuts turned on ? (slide the slider right till it turns green )
Ok i messed my instruction post up lol
Security >
Lock screen options >
Shortcuts >
Select from list
What i meant to say was you select your "lockscreen security" I used swipe and return to "Security" and then select "Lock screen Options" Sorry about that
Could not find it...i think this option is not available for p3100 model.......
Oh sorry to hear that , I'm on a 3110 (running a 3113 ROM ) .I just looked at your usual manual and it says nothing about adding stuff on the lock screen

Tap vs slide to answer/reject phone calls?

I had this set to tap on the icons (instead of the default slide) to answer or reject a phone call but now I can't find it. Anyone remember how does one is done on the S8? Thanks in advance!
Its in accessibility settings. Search for "Single Tap Mode" in settings to find it quicker.

Was thinking the same .. until I've finally found it, go to Settings > Accessibility > Interaction and dexterity > Assistant menu > Enable it, then scroll down to "Single tap to swipe" and Enable it, after that you can scroll back up to the top and Disable the "Assistant menu", otherwise you will have that circle on your screen.. and you can notice the "Single tap to swipe" remains "On" even with the "Assistant menu" disabled. Enjoy!

For some works but for others all work except "for calls" e.g. alarms, notifications, etc. , you can then enable the "Assistant Menu", the circle button can be hidden if you tap and hold it, it will show a "Drag here to hide X" at the top, once that is gone, you can get rid of the "Accessibility" notifications easily by going to Settings > Accessibility > click on the 3 dots in the corner right, then "Hide status notifications":

The problem is the only thing that i need is the calls - all others i don't use
I tried this on my Sprint s8+ which just got pie and even after doing this the notification for the assistant menu stays on the notification bar and can't be removed (it's minimized and silenced so only visible when u swipe down but can't be hidden or removed)

I am trying to set up a Moto E6 for better accessibility for my 86yo mother-in-law. The phone upgraded to Pie, but there does not seem to be an option for tap to swipe even when I activate the menu. Any other ideas for how to get a tap to answer a call since she can't hold the button and swipe? I see comments about senior-friendly launchers and an app called easy answer. Even with the lock screen disabled the phone still demands swipe to answer. She'd have to have the phone screen on at all times to get a push to answer prompt from Motorola.
Thanks,
Dan
