keyboard backlight? - Touch Pro, Fuze General

Is it possible to change the keyboard light to stay on longer? thanks

Search for Advance Config, install and there's an option for this setting under "Input".

Yeah except advanced config tool doesn't work on that setting. Even changing the value in the registry doesn't work. Very frustrating.

how to turn on led for new mms

Does anyone know the registry key to make the orange led blink like when you missed a call for new mmsl?
It's grayed out in the settings-> sound & notifications-> notifications tab.
Thanks
HKCU>controlpanel>notifications>{long names} search for the key with th default value (Messaging: New MMS) it starts with {c34655........} in my device & i dont know if its the same
now change the following:
duration >>> set it as u like
options >>> chane 1 to 4
i think that will do
thanx for pointing out how this works. The key is indeed HKCU>controlpanel>notifications>{c34655........}
options is 9 by default. I looked at the new text key {a877d65b........} and the options id set to 15 so I'll change it to that. I use total commander to regedit but don't like it that it doesn't show the value of the key so I'll install a new regeditor tomorrow and change it.
thanx for the reply

Modify backlight via registry?

Hi,
So I've found the registry location for the backlight
HKCU\ControlPane\BackLight
but when I change the brightness key value, the backlight doesn't change.
What can I do about this?
Maybe I'm missing what exactly your trying to do here but...
What is to stop you from just going to Settings > Power > Backlight And then changing it there?
I'm trying to make an applet for PointUI, and you can modify registry settings using their script engine.
So I wanna know how to change the settings via registry, and have it show

Short cut to backlight setting + change parameters of the automatic baclight ajustmen

Hi evey one,
I'm looing for a way to launch from 1 shortcut (in manilla) the backlight setting to ajust manually the level without going through "parameters" "display" "backlight setting".
Also, I find the brightness to high in the dark and too low in the light, is there any cab to amend the coeficient "outside light"/"backlight setting"?
Try this...I made it the other day works perfect for me. Just change .txt extention to .lnk tranfer it to your memory card, then copy to windows/startmenu/programs. Will give you a nice icon also. Takes you right to Manila backlight settings.
Great, it works very well! How did you find that?
Is there any chance someone could answer the second question: How to modify the coeficient of the brightness versus backlight setting so in automatic mode, the screen is less agressive to my eyes when I reading in the dark!

How do i make swype my default keyboard?

after i reset the phone it always reverts back to the default keyboard and i have to manually change it every reboot. thanks
The way I'd recommend is to use SKTools. With SKTools, you can change your Default Input Panel to whatever you wish (as long as the SIP is installed).
happens to me too - HTC TP2.

How do i change Swype Settings

without going to keyboard settings since the x2 doesnt have keyboard settings.
