Windows media player error code - Touch Pro, Fuze General

I encoded a movie recorded from my PC in WM Player onto my microsd card.
The movie size is about 1.1 gb. When playing it on my Touch Pro, it plays for a minute or two then stops and I get the following error message:
"Not enough storage is available to complete this operation"
Any ideas what adjustments I need to make to let this movie play?
thanks in advance.

Are there any settings in Advance Config that woiuld eliminate this error? It seems like I am just running out of system memory during playback.

Syncing movies in Windows Media Center

Each time I try to play a movie, on my TP, that I have either synced from WMC or just copied over to memory card, it plays for about 5 seconds then I get an error message telling me I do not have enough memory to complete the action.
Are there any memory settings in Advanced Config, that will make the movie play?
Or do I need to reduce the settings for the movie itself?

[Q] Video from converted DVD works for one chapter but not for the whole movie

Hi,
I have used handbrake to convert a DVD movie for playing on the Nexus S, according to settings found on a nexusoneforum thread (840-how-convert-any-video-your-nexus-one) Basically the settings are the same than the iPhone, but with correct extensions and some tweaking. The video has only P/I frames, no B frames.
When converting a 5min chapter, the resulting video was perfect! I got a 45MB file, which could be played in the stock player. However, after converting the whole DVD (file size of 1.1GB), using the same settings, then I get the message "Sorry, this video cannot be played". I tried other players but with the same issue.
Has anyone got an idea? Is there a maximum size for videos?
Thanks in advance for your help.
I return with some new experiments. I partially encoded the movie, trying various number of chapters, still in h264 (x264) in handbrake. I noticed that a 155MB, 17 minutes file plays correctly, but not a 275MB. I don't know if the problem is size or duration, I would need to try different resolutions for that.
Has anybody tried it?
I just tried to play these files from the USB storage but on my computer. The file itself is ok, but VLC can play the 17 minutes file, but cannot play the longer one with this error:
Code:
No suitable decoder module: VLC does not support the audio or video format "undf". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this.
I now suspect the problem lies with handbrake, that uncorrectly tags the stream formats (but why does it happen for a longer stream??). I will try to edit these files with avidemux or virtualdub to see what is inside.
I found the issue and it has nothing to do with the encoding, but with the uploading to the phone!
Indeed, the original file is readable. I use Linux, with the KDE desktop. It seems that when the screen times out (or the phone goes to sleep?), the upload is somewhat interrupted and the file is corrupted! Even if I took care to unmount the mounting point of the Nexus on the Linux filesystem.
I tried again after I increased the screen timeout to 30 minutes, and it worked ! I was able to upload the 1.1GB file to the phone and the movie could be played.
Is that a known issue, or am I doing something wrong?
Besides, I still have difficulties to unmount the Nexus:
Code:
$ umount /media/35EE-1E0E/
Unmount failed: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
The mounting point of the Nexus disappears though and the file is correctly uploaded. Has anyone encountered this problem (or has tips)?

[Q] how to get write-protected WMV on TF700?

So I got digital download from Paramount and Universal a while ago. I was force to use this Digital Download manager http://www.digitalcopydownload.com worst call ever!!!
So the movie plays just fine on window media player, but now that I was able to buy a TF700. I try transferring the movie to the table, but it wont even transfer. So I though I could transfer to a micro sd card, but now it tells me its write-protected.......
I got on the web page for help and this is what it gives me......
"Portable Device Requirements:
PlaysForSure compatible portable media player with video playback support of at least 796 Kbps and video playback support of protected WMV files
Enough free storage space for the video"
Anybody got a solution to remove the write-protection so that I can get it playing on the tablet???
UPDATE: I guess its call DRM......freaking cant find a decent software to take it off......
Check out Audials Tunebite. I use it for my audio files but they make a video and pro version that does both. I have used it for years. Works on the same principle as the DVD backup software out there. It plays the file and records it in another format of your choice. I turned all my music into standard MP3 format. Can do the same with the video version, make all videos MP4, which is a format that works with pretty much every device known and works with HD as well.

[Q] Sound of movie from SD card gets asynchron after one minute

Hi,
for my holidays I copied some records from my receiver to the tablet. All the movies are from ARD HD and come in ts format.
I tried to watch the movies with different players (MX-Player, ...), but with each player the same result:
after around one minute the sound becomes asynchron and so I couldn´t watch the movie...
Is the tablet to slow for such records? Does it help to install a faster ROM (I´m using the original ROM).
The files are on my Class 10 SD card. I couldn´t test it on local memory, because I have not enough space.
Somebody has/had similar problems?
Cheers!
I tried some more apps and with VLC the movie and sound works like expected! But I recognized a very little jerking in the video...
I also installed the ARM 7 Neo(?) codecs for MX Player and now it works with the MX Player too.
But I'm also think about installing a new faster Image...
