Hey guys Sorry for repost of the same questions im freaking out here... I just did some research (something i should have done before posting first , but im in freak out mode)....
Im stuck in bootloop after using the latest TnT lite...I would like to get that back .
I researched how to address this, however i see a couple of ways to get this thing running again, here is what I found:
Using Nvflash got this on TegraTabs site... does this require using my computer?
Here XDA... I saw that someone had the same issue and Clockworkmod Recovery was suggested.
OK this is where i am comfused If i use Clockwork I need my windows (vista) computer correct ? and it looks like I am going to be using command lines also (not a big deal for me)... I saw that i am going to need android SDk and also tegra drivers as well?
I am not looking for the easiest way looking for the best way ... Sorry for asking again however being a noob to Android I just want to make sure that I am doing things right.. is there any other information that would help you guys help me? let me know... again thanks you guys... still in freak out mode and dont want for my money to have been thrown away...I appreciate the help....you guys rock

Best way is to download the Android SDK (to get ADB), the Tegra drivers and NVidia's SDK which includes nvflash. You can get the Tegra stuff here or over at our sister site, tegratab.com (we started putting stuff up there while waiting to get our own forums here on XDA). To get nvflash access, you'll need to modify the Android SDK's INF file (if you're on Windows). Nvflash can get you out of almost anything. Best to back up your images using nvflash before you flash anything else, that way you've got a copy of what's on YOUR tablet as it comes, stock. Since you're stuck in a bootloop, I'd guess you no longer have any stock partitions so maybe just pick up the stock images from over on tegratab.com. They should be fine for you but it's nothing like having a pristine copy of your own images.
Hope that helps. Not sure if I gave enough detail but shout if you need more. We have some really good people here.
Yes you need a PC for NVflash. If clockwork fails then your going to have to NV flash back to stock.
Hey guys I would like to thank you for your responses

I plan to incorporate his method into my TnT Lite post, there's some good stuff in there.
Hello fellow xoomers, im having a problem hope some one can help me. first off i'm a noob to rooting. I have a xoom wifi running android 3.0 , kernel version is 2.6.36.3 build HRI39. I was adventurous and tried to root my xoom and needless to say it didn't go well. I honestly thought I bricked the damn thing, to my shock and welcomed surprised I was able to do a wipe and erase all the data on my device and return to factory settings. but when it went to connect to the wifi all it's saying is wifi error every thing else seems to work fine. so i was wondering should i try to re root my xoom again??? will this correct the issue i'm having with my wifi?? and can some one point me to a guide that's made for the version i'm currently running seems likes there's a million and one different types of software and you have to have the right one for the version your running or every thing goes from sugar to well you know the rest. Any help would be greatly appreciated if you need any more info please let me know. thank you all in advance.....
Alright, Im going to be completely honest. I am a complete and total noob to the tech behind smartphones. As Ive been learning, I tried rooting my Samsung Galaxy SII SCH-R760X, and after I attempted to flash a kernel that was suggested by this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/general/how-to-root-galaxy-sii-sch-r760-generic-t1928566, my phone is now stuck at the logo with a warning sign at the bottom. After all this, I realized I made the worst possible mistake anyone could ever make: I didnt backup my system. Luckily, I didnt have much data on it anyway. At this point I am aware it has become a softbrick, and Ive looked at guides such as this one:http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s2/development/guide-fix-unflashable-soft-bricked-t1619571, but it still tells me to "put the recovery file in its place". Im assuming he's talking about the backup... which i dont have. If anyone could point me to where I can find a backup for it, or upload one for me, I would be incredibly in debt to you. Thank you for reading, I know how most people feel about noobs, but I dont know where else to go.
Please, if I am doing something wrong with this post, please tell me. I dont want to be an annoyance. In fact, this is my first time ever posting to a forum! Id love to get into smartphone tech, however, since I couldnt find a place to start, I made the foolish choice of simply diving in and ruining my phone (hopefully not permanently). Anyway, thank you for reading! Even if you cant help, I really appreciate the attention. Thanks!

You have already found good threads.
To recover a soft-bricked device, you basically have to flash back an official firmware for your device.
The guide you found was for the GT-I9100G, which is a little bit different from your exact device model.
Here is another guide for other variants of the S2: [GUIDE] Fix an unflashable or soft bricked GSII (I9100G/M/P/T VERSION INCLUDED) by Phistachio.
As there is no "ready-to-go" recovery package available for your device model, you have to get an official/stock firmware for your device.
A link to possible firmware sources is in the first post of the guide you posted.
Flashing the stock firmware with Odin should fix the soft-brick.
If not, maybe a wipe data (= factory reset) in recovery mode (long press Volume UP + HOME + POWER) is needed additionally.
And rooting your device seems to be working with this too: [ROOT] Framaroot, a one-click apk to root some devices by alephzain ... I found some users confirming it working fine to root your device model.
If you still have issues and need further help, please ask in the [Q&A][SGS2][Newbies][Experienced Users][RCs] New members friendly Q&A thread by It_ler thread.
There we try to give detailed help for all variants of the S2.
Good luck !
Thanks for responding man! I didnt think anyone would reply.
I really appreciate the help. However, I downloaded and flashed the droiddroidz kernel turner78 said to flash, and that was what made my phone go softbricked in the first place... I tried flashing the other two kernels instead, and they proceeded to put my phone in bootloop... So, I tried flashing the "Siyah" stock kernel everyone was talking about, and it made this weird eye thing with a yin-yang flash on my phone... And Im sorry Im a total noob, I just recently learned what flashing and kernels were from the help of google :/... Im still a little lost on what Roms are. But reguardless, Im assuming the kernels I tried flashing were incompatible or corrupted, and thats whats making my phone not work. If Im wrong, correct me please. I know my phone is version 1.4.1, but thats about it. I dont know if its "Gingerbread" or "jellybean" or whatnot. Im sure Ive just made a stupid mistake and Im too dumb to know how to fix it.

Hey guys, been a long time since i have been on a Xoom forum BUT my xoom just stopped working!! It has been working great for years and now suddenly i restarted it and i get the error screen below. Can anyone help me get it going again?? I dont remember what rom i had on it because it has been years since i have done anything to it. I use it but only with the speaker dock as a radio in my room. I dont care about wiping it.
If you have experience in flashing your Xoom, this post maybe help http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1049485
Download the stock-rom that match your device, unpack it and follow the step at the top of the post. you need adb and fastboot
this procedure recover the factory-default-rom
after that you could reinstall a Custom ROM
Regards
Thanks!! How can i tell what Xoom i have? It a wifi only model but how to i know what stock Rom it needs??
Greetings!
Is there any way to root this device?
It's with android 11 LTE_C01091.11_NE_S42_1.010.00
Magisk need a boot.img but I can't find it...
Tx in advance
Hey Folks!
I got into trouble and need serious help with my cat s42, android 11.
I had looking for ways to root that device and find few articles about it, all of them saying needed to unlock bootloader. I did it from my linux box and adb/fastboot. What I don't knew it that it's not reversible, I cannot lock it again. The warning said that if proceed, I will need to reinstall the OS.
I really need root privileges once it's full of feature creep but now I'm trapped with magisk (v 23010) and latest kingoroot don't working with the device. It's bootloader is unlocked and device have some instabilities, catterpillar do not provide stock rom or any assistance in the case (shame on it).
So, what can I do? Can anybody give me directions of some procedure that work here? Lost my phone??
Thanks in advance!!!

Sorry for the late reply happy new year!
When you are going to flash a gsi for the firstime on a device always flash the gsi by phh treble because all other gsi are based on his.
flash that then see if everything works once you have done that look for a other gsi that u might like there arent many that get updated reguarly but i believe linage os does get updated regurally best try that one.
so flash a gsi and then right after magisk in twrp in your case that is not going to work because you dont have a custom recovery so you are going to be needing adb fastboot.
Didnt you ask this on a another forum called highonandroid ?
Thank you mstrnemo and Happy 22!
No, I didn't ask other forums, just searching to something to flash that device...
But you give me some clues to do that, I'll read about treble. I need phone, camera, and gps working and have to see it before flashing, that's the point.
Sorry if im not more helpfull but my knowledge of flashing a gsi is limited i only succesfully did it once.
in your case with no development for your device gsi is really your only option.
Edit: good luck !!! if you do end up doing it let me know i am curious about the results.
