The main problem that I see when flashing our Tornado with professional Windows Mobile 6 or 6.1 is the backlight turn off periods.
I developed a very simple application in C#.net that directly modify the register to setup the times to turn off the backlight. I called it EasyLight and I add the installation CAB here.
I hope it will be useful to you

I don't think there is a solution for this problem yet. You either will have to live without Live Messenger for now and for a solution to be found (perhaps when WM6 will officially be released for HTC Prophet) or go back to a (official) WM5 ROM.

live messenger does work on crossbow
if it is to hard to read english you might ask this question to an italian native speaker like risidoro. he could explain it in italian.
if he does not have the time, i will try to explain it in english

Hi... would be really grateful if you could explain how to get windows live working with crossbow...im using nghianha's crossbow rom...everything else works just fine...except for windows live messenger

Yea I think so. At least the menus are displayed in my language (Norwegian) So would be surprised if swedish wasnt supported..

I have the problem, that I am not able to fix the default-keyboard to the standard-keyboard. If I change it using the settings or sktools everything is fine, but after softreset the 20-touch-keyboard is set as default.
I have searched within the forum, but did not find an answer, hoe to resolve this bug.

just desable Touch XT9 from ROM Setings if u using bepe's 0.55 or 0.56. but if u need both than i don't know..

did these changes solve your problem or did you get any answer from HTC at CeBit?
I'm having the same problem on my Orbit 2; changes to 20-keyboard after each softreset or when turning back on the device.
@ MSG,
I 'm sorry, but I did not try SIPChange yet, since I have read about serveral problems with this prog. I just want to finish configuration of my orbit, backup the whole system and then try it.
HTC was on CeBIT only with a staff which was not able to answer my questions and they asked me to make a call to HTC.
If I have solved my problem I will post the results here!

Seems to be q a lot of overlap - prolly not worth another install til I fix my email issue.
it is not 100% compatible...
some things like browser string and the phone skin are different compared to the diamond options for example. i will check out more differences. lovely would be a registry backup function. what is the program language? maybe i can fix something for you.

Google Translator doesn't work with me..it just doesn't translate. When I had WM6.1 I was very happy with Slovoed (Classic & Oxford) Dictionary but now with WM6.5 the screen is badly formatted so that I can't read well anymore, it's a pity. So if you're using WM6.1 I recommend it...for WM6.5 I hope someone else has an advice, cheers
Edit: my experience was with italian dictionary but,of course, german is available aswell.
