Hi.
I've been hunting around the web for a way to unlock my Orange SPV E650, and came across this website. I was wondering if anyone else here has used this, and what success they've had?

Yes, this will work. As will any of the ROMs you download from here. This will not SIM-unlock your phone though, only application unlock & debrand it.
It works. thanks i searched it very long time ;]

I havent posted here in a while.. I have contributed alot, so don't flame me for this quesiton.. I haven't been up to speed here in a while.. So if possible can someone point me in the direction of unlocking the Pantech Duo.. yes I have used SEARCH so don't go there.
Thanks
If you mean sim unlock there are some websites that offer their service.
If you mean app unlock just search for SDA unlock.
SDA same as Pantech? I don't know smartphones.. lol... just PPC's.
Well... you could try SDA unlock.
I'll look into it.. since it's APP unlocking, it's not possible to brick correct? ..
The program only change some settings on the registry. The worst that could happen is you doing a hard-reset
that's what I was thinking.. I figured since the Pantech isn't an HTC phone, that that was the reason a SIM unlocking application had not yet been developed.. I think I might try debugging some things see if I can't come up with one.
Sorry for starting a new thread guys,
I am having major issues trying to get my spv c600 unlocked to use any sim card.
now, i have rom version 2.0.6.0 and radio version 4.0.13.16_01.03.00
i recently unlocked and flashed a tytn2 which was much easier...
could people please throw me some complete suggestions?
i feel like crap for doing this but ive been searching all day and now i cant be bothered anymore all my moral has gone
please take a moment and help a poor lonely computer nerd unlock an older phone for his poor far away girlfriend...

See ya from Mexico
First I would like to apologize if this question has been asked before but I didn't really come across an answer for this . I am a noob at this but I'm trying learn as I go so if some could just give a quick yes or no that would be awesome.
I recently bought an unlocked at&t tilt/kaiser from ebay to use with my t-mobile sim. The phone came with windowss mobile 6.1 htc rom on it but I noticed alot of problems with it such as camera recorder not working and not being able to recieve MMS messages. From this site I learned that HTC America has an offical windows 6.1 rom update for the tilt.
If I upgraded the Rom from tthe site lock the phone back up?
No, it wont. Whatever you do, you'll never relock the phone unless you actually download an application to relock it; basically, it'll stay unlocked forever.
Thanks!! I really appreciate the help.
You're welcome Just a quick suggestion; if you read the wiki, hopefully it'll address most of your questions. If it's not there, search the threads and the answer should be there, if not, then make a thread
First apologies for the cross-post but I don't want anyone having to jump around looking at the original so as per Cal-El's advice I am pasting the original post below:

Hiya Olipro, guys
I've hit a snag while attempting to unlock my wife's TyTN II - a bit of history...
Only learnt that it was locked when swapping a Vodaphone sim into the unit in place of an MTN one.... the message popped up was 'PHONE NOT ALLOWED MM#6' which after a number of searches led me to believe that the unlocked was in fact locked.
I tried Jocky's method with little success, and after quite a number of reverse flashes etc I managed to get your great little app to run - the snag is that when I viewed current locks, it says that the phone is unlocked.
Well when a foreign sim is inserted or even an MTN one now it still pops that message "PHONE NOT ALLOWED MM#6".
We had been in to the UK with the unit where it worked perfectly but since our return it is a paperweight.
My question to you guys is:
What do/can I do = any ideas of a cure for this malady?
Bump!
No idea, anyone?
Seems I will have to a: Send to HTC (joke, they don't fix them, they lose them here) or b. bin it (dont want to though)
I have no idea what could cause that... if you asked Olipro and he doesn't know i suggest you dig deep in the Kaiser section and if not... ask HTC what to do.. thought they're usually clueless
I know, i should do it myself, but phones and I do not get on. At all..
Are there any people out there who can update a SPV C600 phone from origanal rom to what ever is the lastest? 6.5 i think from reading here.
Would be nice to get some more use out of the phone, only had it 4 years But anything to keep it as i love it.
Also, looked at doing the step by step upgrade, but says i need to be amember of the rapidshare web site, is there a way to get the rar without paying?

You don't have to be a member of rapidshare in order to download from there.
The "premium" members just get a faster download speed.
Upgrading from the original rom isn't too difficult .... just follow the steps listed in the how to the letter and you should be fine.
Trying to do this myself, following the guides, but i cant even get Activesync 4.5 to see the phone lol..
I think i better stop before i break it and just put up with WM5.
