Hi,
this may be a stupid stupid question but I am getting desperate.
I was forced to make a hard reset and now I'm in the process of getting all the programs/settings back.
The only problem left is my Start menu. It's too big and I can't find where to make it smaller. I remember that it used to be small but I can't recall whether I set it that way or a utility...
I did a search in both the Diamond and Raphael forum but this is obviously a silly question to ask (and I know it)
Can anyone point me to the right direction? I would be most grateful.
Thanks in advance.
Settings-System-TouchFlo-Enable/Disable large start menu
Thank you, this was really quick.
I must have forgotten about the TouchFlo settings in System menu. I thought this should be somewhere in Personal or at least in the Screen settings.
Anyway, thanks again. This thread can be closed/deleted.

Hey everyone I am just wondering if there is a particular registry I can change to disable the cube, or at least the buttonless start of the cube.
You see I use my softkeys alot and it seems like 50% of the time i press one of them, that damn cube opens and its driving me crazy. I hate it, i wish it could go away.
Someone, anyone, please help me.
Thanks in advance, dan
I was having the same problem was driving me nuts too. I did what was posted here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=1443573&postcount=4

Check the iContact thread because I think this question was asked. I.e. if you hit the phone button and then "contacts" it will load iContact, however from the people tab it won't. I'm not sure they ever resolved that problem, but if they did, please post the response here, because iContact seems like a much better program (and the scrolling is the best I've seen on Windows Mobile...)
i didnt find anything (a link to that thread would be nice). but i'm thinking a simple registry edit would suffice??
ok, I've had my fuze since the day it came out and didn't do a thing right, I didn't even install a .cab until about a week ago because I didn't know how. I'm pretty much an idiot when it comes to this type of stuff, so I'm here now asking for help. I just did a hard reset so I was back to factory settings, logged into here and starting posting this, I came here because you all seem really kind and genuinely willing to help morons like me. So I'm here asking: what should I do? Would someone be willing to write a list of all the things I should install (preferable in order) and even give a link to the thread where it was made (so we can read about it and properly thank the creators) because no joke, I messed something up and I would get a message popping up every minute or so, I couldn't download anything or do much, so I figured I'd restart the thing have have some people who actually know what they're doing help me out and give me a list of things to do, I'm sure I'm not the only one this would help
special thanks to those that've helped:
none yet, be the first =]
honestly all i can say is, read this thread :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=410159

Late,

thanks, also, I remember hearing that advanced configuration tool 3.3 is a great thing to download, however when I tried to find it I came up short, is this something I have to download via comp, then transfer? Or can I download it straight to the phone? because I'm on a road trip right now just sitting here trying to get my phone awesome
Advanced Config Link
I searched on "Advanced Config" and this link was the first hit:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=317070
You should be able to download the cab to your phone (or storage card) and just execute it.
Another good link for really getting your phone "right" is this one (which also has many of the CAB's you'll want/need): http://fuze.cassiebaby.com/
I'll note again, however, that you really need to spend some time familiarizing yourself with the search functions...most of the questions you'll have are answered (and you'll not draw ire of folks). And, per above post, spend some time reading the wiki's...
Ok, I know I saw this somewhere and now I have spend far too many hours trying to find it again. I had to do a hard reset on my phone and have no idea where that cab file went that forced the reply all soft key to just reply. I am really hoping that someone can help me find this because it is really annoying how many times I have hit reply all on accident since the hard reset. Please help me out! Thanks in Advance!!

Wow. I typed your thread title in this website called "Google.com" (it's a search engine) and it gave me this in return: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=583638
When you've opened the link, you'll have to manually (I know, doing things yourself sucks) scroll down to hint #53 to find your answer.

don't be so hard on the boy; that tip is for the Leo, not for the Topaz, not everybody knows if the registry tweaks are compatible between devices.

LOL don't worry. I tested it before I posted it and it works on the Diamond2
Sorry it sounded like such a stupid question. Like I said, I searched for a while looking at it and I tried several different ways to type it into google. I was unsuccessful and was figuring that having a whole community of eyes would help me to find it since I was having a problem. I didn't realize that there would be sarcasm on the side. Not everyone can build a ROM from scratch or know where to find every hack and tweak for these phones. This is my first phone that I can really go crazy with and I have had it for less than 2 months so excuse me for having a newbie question.

Detailed-How to change Start text:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=458903
nobody knows if there is a way of just dissabling the start key? i don't mind if i keep the icon or the text, i just don't want it to be usable, only want to use the hard key for the start menu. anyone??..
Sorry 'bout that slimster... I shoulda paid more attention to what you were REALLY asking instead of tryin' to just throw a quick solution atcha. Please forgive my outburst and have mercy on this poor soul, haha
never a problem paulieboy, I do appreciate you taking the time to try and help anyway. I guess im stuck with this start key.
