Force Landscape Mode? - Touch Pro, Fuze General

Is there a way to force landscape mode before opening a program - preferably within the touch-flo interface?
Before switching to the Touch Pro - I'd rotate my 6700's interface to landscape mode using the onscreen button, then I'd start my GPS program Iguidance (for example).
With the Touch Pro - the only way I can make Iguidance run in landscape mode, is by opening up the keyboard. But then the phone doesn't fit in it's dashboard clamp.
I've also had problems with certain websites where Opera would not recognize the orientation I have my phone turned to - and the page stayed in portrait mode.
Any suggestions?

Landscape view without keyboard open (auto-rotate)

Is it a possibility to show landscape view when my device's orientation is initiated via either auto rotation (i use gyrator) or through a shortcut (like assigned to a button). As far as i know the landscape page only pops up when you slide the keyboard open but i would like it to show also when i turn my device sideways initiating the auto rotate function from gyrator..

I get landscape view just fine when i'm using gyrator, so i'm not sure why you wouldn't be getting it.

Did you create an event for it? When I rotate the screen with Gyrator then it always ends up in portrait version of TF3D (rotated by 90 degrees) which is messed up.
When you rotate your TP do you get the landscape version of TF3D?
you can also set a long press of the phone key to cause a screen rotation manually: http://www.fuzemobility.com/?p=1200
yah that's what I get not the 8 button view like the hardware keyboard causes when slid open
so nobody solved this problem yet ? I would like to use auto rotate too but still with no succes...

Upgraded Asian ROM, Touch Flo 3D stuck in landscape mode

Hey guys,
I upgraded my ROM (Asian ROM) from 1.9xx.xxx (don’t remember what it is) to the latest 5.07.831.2 last night from the HTC HK site. ( I bought mine in Hong Kong)
After upgrading, TF3D still switches from Portrait to Landscape mode when I open the keyboard.
However, when I close the keyboard, the screen (TF3D) remains in Landscape. The only way I can switch from Landscape -> Portrait is to turn the screen off and turn it back on.
Any ideas on which registry settings might be causing this? Is it a ROM issue or could it be a registry conflict issue since I imported my old registry settings?
Thanks a lot.
Just wanted to add that I think the keyboard is also an, if not at issue
- Keyboard will awake phone when slid open
- Keyboard is active and will type
- Screen just doesn’t respond to being open/closed
Also, I tried using the Standard WM Today screen and the opposite happened: orientation does not change when I open the keyboard.
When the keyboard is open in both TF3D and WM Today Screen, the directional arrows function in landscape mode (down key moves downward instead of to the left. Up key moves upwards instead of to the right).
Nothing on this?

Question regarding landscape mode

Can anyone let me know what is causing this problem on my phone??
I want to run landscape mode but every time I enable Landscape it leave me with screen problem (The photo attach are screen shots for my phone running in land scape mode [right side is the bottom], where the black screen is the home screen, the photo tab and music tab are also mess up.)
I mean my phone runs perfectly fine in portrait mode but once I enable landscape I have problem
I tried enable landscape with bsb tweaks, Touch tools, Gconfig and all 3 program leave me with the same screen problem. (I can enable landscape and turn off rotation but that is just portrait mode again.)
I am using official Traditional Chinese rom:
manila 2.5.1921161930
(I have CHT install)
And I really want to figure out how to run the phone in landscape mode without have to deal with a black screen on home screen. Can anyone help me???
You are using Windows Mobile 6.5. You cannot rotate these features in 6.5 unfortunately.
If you want to change this... grab yourself a new ROM... and flash it.
so i need 6.5X??? That blows.....
Is going to be hard to find a good Rom that support traditional Chinese....

keep portrait start screen when landscape docked?

I have been using my the docking station for my titan and am loving it however when docked the start screen remains "sideways" as well as hubs and index search.
rather than a question about landscape mode because maybe that functionality isn't programmed or possible. Is there a way to rotate the start screen to portrait facing me while the phone is docked landscaped? I can picture a huge black bar or empty space off to the right which is fine.
are there any registry edits maybe out there or?
I don't believe anybody has found a way to force the Start screen into landscape mode. This is true even with those Windows phones that have landscape slide-out keyboard (which normally force the phone into Landscape mode while the keyboard is out). I see no evidence of support for a landscape start screen in anything that I've yet seen of WP7.

L00 9.1.0.123 EMUI desktop landscape now works (kinda)

You will need an app to force landscape mode. I use rotation control pro.
Now when you put the phone in landscape, the dock still shows but the desktop icons don't. However if you initiate a split screen then close the app drawer, the full landscape desktop will show with the app dock on the right and all the icons showing correctly.
It will revert back though but currently it's a nice work around. I can finally use my phone in landscape mode with my BT mouse and keyboard!
