Windows Mobile Market Share (especially Japan)?

Hey everybody! This question may be a tough one and I couldn't find much data on the above subject. There are some diagrams from Symbian that show some trends and developments since early 2005. If someone here has seen a more complete overview of the Windows Mobile market share and capitalization since 2005 I would highly appreciate if you could share with me. I am especially interested in the Japanese market, but world statistics would also be great as long as they give a rather complete picture.

Cheap simple 3d digitizer

We've started a group that is exploring a new 3d digitizer technology
that lets users create 3d models of a friend's faces or a real object
as easily as taking a photograph, and for about the same cost. In some
cases the cost is much less as its just a feature of a portable
electronic device, like a smart phone. Is it a good idea? What should
the file output be? How will people use the models? It's an open
discussion. Please join the group and invite as many friends as you
have who are interested in bringing 3d model creation into the
mainstream
Group name in Google Groups
Create 3d models from real objects easily
I'd love to have that ability, as would many others, I'm sure.
I have a few questions, though:
Would this be done via software on a WinMo device?
Would there be a WinMo viewer?
What software would be needed to view the models on a PC?

Research into mobile user interfaces

Hello,
just out of curiosity, i am collecting youtube movies of all mobile userinterfaces. The idea is to create a historical representation on how user interfaces have become what they are today. Hopefully seeing all userinterfaces next to each other gives us insight in the things to come.
The list can be found here:
http://www.petervrenken.nl/research/UserInterfaces.aspx
Do you guys know any movies that should really be included in the list?
I've mainly added the IPhone interface and Windows Mobile interfaces i know about, but the list should not be limited to these devices only.
Greetings and thanks in advance,

Collaborative collection of Mobile Freeware

Hello dear XDA-Developers' Members!
Some of you have already seen our community site (there are links to us in your forum), some of you not. I want to briefly introduce here the project itself. It's called "Freeware Lovers" and with that we want to provide the people who loves freeware (as we do) with an open platform to collect and share free apps and games. It's very much Wiki-like. You can add a new app, new version, upload the files and describe it. Another visitors (unregistered) and members (registered) can improve your submission. Everything is tracked (think Wiki), so vandalism and mistaken submissions can be reverted.
We have a long way to go to make the platform more usable and user-friendly, but it already works and we need a community support.
Right now only two mobile platforms are supported: Android and Palm OS (Palm OS was added just yesterday). You are welcome to suggest another platforms, we'll be happy to expand the project. Please, vote above which platform you want to be supported next!
So, here it is: http://www.FreewareLovers.com/
For Android Freeware: http://www.FreewareLovers.com/Android
For Palm OS Freeware: http://www.FreewareLovers.com/Palm
Please, let us know what you think about it.
With best regards,
Freeware Lovers Team

[Q] android artist resources

Are there any sites dedicated specifically for artists on a mobile platform (either IOS or android). Im a long time sketcher but decided to move onto digital medium in the hope that it would improve my options in colouring and painting images. I'm slowly getting used to sketching on my note but was hoping to find tips and guides on drawing on a tablet computer. Most of my searches have given me results on PC/ MAC and wacom stylus using photoshop.
I've started to put together a spreadsheet with a list of all the apps available on android and what their functionality and limitations are. various layer options. resolution. tools etc etc. I'll be uploading it to google docs this evening and sharing it in the hope that I can get others to help me populate it. I've bought a fair few apps now and have been disapointed once I realised it cant do x, y or z. Plus its difficult to keep track of updates that include new features. I'm hoping this table will allow me (and others) to build a suite of apps that best cover their personal requirements and stremeline their workflow.
I cant find any site that is aimed specifically at artists on a mobile platform. Can anyone advise of any? All I see is the odd subforum here or there.
I'm thinking of starting a new site specifically aimed at artists on a mobile platform with links to various resources, reviews on apps, a forum specifically for art related discusion etc etc...
would anyone be interested in helping me? I dont have any experience in putting together sites and am currently looking at a free one on webs.com or something.
One of the things I want to acheive is a comparison chart between all the drawing apps available on android and some more detail behind them other than whats on the play store (like in the attachment).
