Can you please post your ROM to XDA's ftp server. Rapid share kills me with waiting time of 132 minutes. Can't really wait that much to try your ROM. hehe... If you can do so, it will help me and probably others too.

I've the WM6.1 From Dr Gonzo, and I would like to have the neo, but I don't want to lose the sliding panel

actually there is no possibility to put neo plugin with WM6.1
6.1 use the same system of chome but no possibility actually to port neo chome into wm6.1 chome
after there is no possibility to make neo plugin CAB. We don't know why but it work only in a cooked rom.
I think Microsoft hide something.
so some people work actually on porting neo into wm6.1

Been running this ROM for a few hours now - so far so good. ActiveSync locked up once, but a soft reset fixed that. Otherwise, everything seems to be running smoothly. Very snappy response and stable!

as far as activesync goes, I'll look into it, but it usually does that on every ROM I flash

This is a great cooked rom. Not ultra fast, but fast and STABLE
Batti Config crashed on me twice. No other issues from what I've seen and good gps lock with tt6.
The green coloring needs to grow on me a bit, though hehe.

thanks for the response mate
as far as speed, thats what im going to be focusing on my next hybrid release. as far as color, i plan on releasing a black variant later. oh, and im going to remove batticonfig as i cant get the oem package to work correctly, but ill put the cab up. look for v1.5 in the next few days addresing all these issues

To fix the ClearType Issues (thanks the clueless!):
1. Open PHM Registry Editor from Start Menu > Programs > Tools, and make sure the following keys are correct:

Nice work, I was playing with the throttle roms, but I can't make myself like them. I think the main annoyance is the kaiser has a border on the screen and you can't easily select the very left or very right buttons. I assume the border is flush on the diamond / touch pro.

In my opinion, yes, but 3d tests will not be as smooth

I flashed the ROM last night, and it's pretty slick, very nicely done. Cleartype in landscape mode is totally messed up, however. I'm able to view text and type in landscape mode, but auto-completion just shows an empty box. (There are words in it, as you can see the highlight bar, but the text is invisible, highlighted or not.)
Additionally, if you're running a program, then switch the orientation from portrait to landscape, all text disappears.
(I know, it's a problem common to all WM6.1-based ROMs without special cooking, but in seeing the item, re: landscape fixed in Opera, as well as using the different driver, I was hoping that it was fixed.)

yes, in my next release I am going to remove opera (WAY too many bugs in every version I try) and include a .cab that will fix cleartype if you are willing to give up Direct 3d My next one will also be based on the latest diamond build

Anyone have stability problems with this ROM?
I really want to try it, sometimes I use my phone for work and I need stability.

[Update 14/12/08] MBV Solace v2 rc16 - Are you up for it?

Hey guys,
First off, I would like to say a big thank you to all of the people who have helped me out in my ROM cooking (you know who you are)!
Well, here's the scoop: First, my new puppy (a ****zu/toy poodle) chewed my cable up, so I couldn't flash ROMs (at least easily). The next week, I lost my device to freezing cold water (was bending over to put the cover on the pool for winter). Believe me or not, what I'm basically saying is that I have no device (temporarily). This is what I ask of you: since I don't have a device, if you find anything wrong, or have any suggestions to make, please post a reply stating them! Also, you should probably know that I ported the XIP and SYS from the Opal, so it might not boot at all. Please let me know if it doesnt! Also, if it does not boot, just enter bootloader (press the stylus into the reset hole while holding the camera button) and flash a different ROM.
Oh, one last thing: as you probably know, many people like to see screenshots (including myself ), so if it's not too much, could you post a few screenshots and I'll add them here.
Once again guys, I'm sorry for laying down the burden for you guys. I'm going to pick up a new device (hopefully) next week. thanks for your support XDA!

hey i have a question,i had solace v1 up and running, and downloaded v2 (that didn't boot)
how would i roll back to v1, or now the new updated v2 when it wont boot?

You will see a tricolor screen. wait until you see "USB" appears, then flash your v1.

don't worry, this new one should boot no problem

Is it tricky for flashing with 6.5

nope flashing is the same as you are flashing a normal 6.1 rom..
he has just written it so that he is not blamed if yu brick your device

I cannot flash it, it stops at about 3 percent and says 'image file is corrupted'. I tried to download it again,but nothing changes
My current version is Rose 0.4 and have never had problems with flashing roms.
somebody has already installed it?

1st impression = great rom!
nice speed, it feels snappy.
just a bit disappointing that the handy callingscreen with up-button = speakerphone etc is not present and there is nothing really new except ie6.
oh well it's ofcourse easy to add all kind-of oem packages and other stuff.
feels really like a good base rom! thanx for you hard work!!!!

rename image to vox0img.nbh (like in wiki) - but card can't be HC, so take smalles card u have - and viola

works - just try rename any file

rapide better download mediafire is not working.
