Hi everyone,
i recently installed Opera 9 build 1938 with Adobe Flash player 3.1 plugin and it worked Opera started playing Flash videos on the web pages itself but now all of sudden it stopped working. so i thought to remove opera and flash and reinstall it again. so i uninstalled the opera and flash thourgh remove programs. and installed flash and opera again and it installed perfectly but didnt still want working but when i went to remove the programs it doesn't show me opera and flash in remove programs list.
if the programs are installed and works but cant seem to find it in remove programs.
all i want to do is remove the flash and remove opera 9 and try again from fresh but i cant. does anyone know how can i uninstall opera 9 and flash completely??
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance
I flashed with "VEGAn-TAB GingerEdition STABLE RC1". I'm impressed how everything works smooth and great. Market downloads and installs if I connect to google talk first.
The adobe flash player downloads but cannot install, it gives : "package file is invalid". Other apps installs.
I tried the suggestions that I found in the forum, including rebooting, reseting trying to install from file, trying to install different versions 10.1 10.2 or 10.3 without any luck.
Still the same error. Before trying to flash it again, I wanted to as if anybody have a suggestion ?
thanks in advance.
i also have the same problem. went to download flash player 10.3 from android market, for my htc wildfire. it just wont install
Phoned HTC up and they said it means the device dosent support flash
Sent from my HTC Wildfire using XDA Premium App
Use Task Manager, or 'Manage Application', or Uninstaller, etc . . . to check and uninstall any flash player version that was already installed in/with the rom. Then download and install a later version of your choice. I had to do it once before. Hope that it would be the same in your cases.
Dave,

I managed to have flash with my 4.4.2
Adobe flash is compatible with Firefox
Just have to install Firefox (a open a website that requires flash so you get an error)
Install the latest flash apk (not available though play store)
Test again and now flash should load
This is OK for most cases, but since adobe and Google aren't partners anymore,
If you need the latest version try puffin browser ( not free but offer a daily demo , like 5 hours,no ads)
The flash is processed on their servers, but is very fast too
Also there is flashfox (but I hate this app, only try if both of them fails(not free, lot of ads)

ty for your answer.
I used to use flash player with Dolphin Browser, the flash player apk was modified, i can't post a link to the apk.
but now it doesn't work well, i have a billion ads opening everytime, and when i try to watch a flash video (streaming) on full screen it crashes and reboot the phone.
I'll try again on a stock ROM and if it doesn't work i'll try with firefox.

One day when starting Youtube app I got the message that I need to update the app and the next one was that the latest version is not compatible with the device anymore. So i intalled older version, menaged to open it, but now videos doesnt load at all, there are stuck at buffering forever. I've tried installing couple of even older versions but it didnt help at all. Same thing happens in Chrome when I try to watch youtube via the website. The built in update app says the device is already running on latest version
Is there a way of using device with Android 6 to work with Youtube ? Some modified version of the app maybe ?
Also does youtube check server side which version of app is trying to access it, then and allows only latest clients as a form of forcing people to buy new gear ?
Thanks
