I'd like to pick up the Touch Pro to use on the US AT&T network but I'm not sure if the unlocked version fully supports the US 3G and UMTS data frequencies.
I know the phone will work and I'll be able to connect at least at Edge speads... but will it work on all the frequencies AT&T uses in the US?
I don't really care if it's AT&T branded or not. I'd actually rather have an un-branded device because of it's higher re-sell value. The price is a little high but it's a write-off so it's not a big deal. I'd like to jump in and order one today but I want to make sure it fully supports everything here on the US AT&T network first.

from what I know when u open it out of the box it will not work with ATT HSDPA network, however if you look at the link below, if you dont mind flashing this ATT rom to your Pro when you get it (requires you to CID unlock the device do at your own risk) they claim it will unlock the US HSDPA frequencies from what I gather from HTC locking the frequencies out is that ATT made them sign a deal that they will lock the frequencies out until ATT releases their verison of the PRO so people will buy theirs instead of the unlocked HTC one from Europe, I dont have a pro so I cant say if it works but it would make sense because the ATT version will have US and overseas frequencies so I would assume HTC used the same radio chips in their branded version, let me know if it works...

Hey All
I'm on Telstra in Australia - a network which needs 850mhz 3G. I am REALLY interested in buying the sensation, and from what it looks, the Vodafone UK model supports UMTS 850?
I've got very close relatives who live in the UK, so I can get them to buy it for me. Can someone possibly tell me:
- Does the Vodafone UK one definitely support 850mhz 3G?
- Does it come network unlocked?
- Is there any way to buy it outright without a plan? (eg. PAYG or something)
I can get it shipped to my relatives in the UK or they might even go buy me one in the store. But for now, it looks like the VodaUK one is the only 850mhz capable one.
Thanks
Have been searching the whole day, but is there any difference in supported LTE bands between the US and Europe model? I haven't found any differences... Seems there is only one unlocked model? (Differences aside from RAM).
Visiting New York in January, this looks like the ideal phone for my girlfriend… Hope to bring one home for her.
EU is HIA_AERO_UHL same as M9 :)
The only international LTE bands that the unlocked US model supports are 3 and 7. Okay for occasional roaming in Europe but not enough in my opinion if you were going to use it there all the time.
That is because of soft or hardware? I bought US modell because of 3/32 GB, hoped there is no real difference....
working great for me in Germany
Hello all,

Where did you bought it?
What kind of cable / power supply did you get delivered with? (german or not)
Hello guys. I am traveling to USA this week and I wanted to buy a second hand Galaxy S7, from Craigslist.
I live in Brazil, and I was wondering which US carriers I can buy that would work here. (All Brazilian carriers are GSM)
Sprint? Cricket? Verizon? AT&T? T Mobile?
Thanks!
AT&T and T-Mobile are GSM carriers. Sprint and Verizon are CDMA. Also, the S7 model SM-G930U is unbranded, unlocked and supports both CDMA and GSM. Be cautious about purchases from Craigslist. Don't want to scare you too much, but you might want to read this for some pointers about staying safe and not getting ripped off.
