All I want is the theme like the one NBD 7.9... with the big clock, access to weather, contact, programs, sound and music BUT WITHOUT the TOuchflo Cube since I barely use the cube at all and I keep ending up everywhere everytime I tried the cube.
Any suggestions.
Thanks
Suggestion
Yes,
Install xda mobile 6 (if you didn't already do this). Search the forum on howto.
Second install the htc home plugin, the standard htc skin, black communication manager, htc music player and black dial pad. See following thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=311225&highlight=TouchFlo
The result in the touch software without the cube. At least I think it has, but correct me if I'm wrong. (Never seen the Cube working)
Greetz
dont do this...the result will be a very slow device.....
is more easy you use NBD and remove the shortcute from left button.
you will have a more fast rom then doing this

cube works?
Which rom have you guys updated? Can't get the rom with the touchFlo working on my MDA Vario (qtek9100). Anybody any experience with this device and the cube?
greetz!
Thanks!!
I guess I will sticking with NBD 7.9 and just try to get rid of the touchflo on the bottom right of the screen. I was hoping that by just running the HTC home without the touchflo will speed up my mda.
Again thanks...
Hi,
I have recently installed the Cube function onto my Kaiser but now that the touch flow is operating I cant use the transcriber to write texts etc... The only touch flow option I have under it's menu is to enable the sound effects whilst using touchflo?
Any help would be great thanks guys,
Jamie
Depending which rom you are using, u should have an option to disable touchflo. That's the only way that you will be able to use the transcriber because touchflo disables transcriber, and for good reason. If it didn't you would open the cube everytime you write.
If you have the option to disable, it still might not work depending on the cube you are using. Some of the cubes have touchflo built in, so you won't be able to disable it. Your options are: Uninstall the cube when you want to use the transcriber, which is a hassle. Unstall a cube that doesn't have touchflo built in. I installed Slithers2006's HTC Cube Clone and when i disable touchflo to use the transcriber, it works.
Hope that helps!

I've used Dutty's Beta Tilt Rom II and the current v2.0, both the cube will not work with any handwritting programs (Caligrapher or Transcriber), but you can make it work by using the touchflosetting icon (when you install the cube, it should be included - depending on the cab too). You can then disable it on the setting and then soft-reset and then you can use transcriber.
I decided not to bother with transcriber as the screen is too small for me to write fast enough... I figured it's quicker to use the touchscreen keyboard or the hard keyboard.
Not sure whether you could do this or not but there is an exceptions tab in the ftouchflo config. I had to put Pointui home.exe in here to enable it to work better and it worked a treat!! It disables the cube in the specified applications.

Thanks for the advise, was really helpful So I assume that when people are using a Touch, they have to disable the Touchflo before using the transcriber?
When you say ROM what do you mean exactly? I don't have the option to disable the transcriber so is it worth me upgrading the 'ROM'. I found one download (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=350695&highlight=tytn+ii+roms). Is this the type of thing that you would suggest?
New to the world of PDAs so any help is much appreciated.

PS. dont know if I said but incase it matters with regard to advice I am using the TyTN II/Kaiser.
Thanks
and what is the difference between 2d and 3d manila?
L26 had a rom called Throttle Launcher. It seems alot like the Manila but it was able to be customized ALOT. I'd like a LITTLE more modification ability. Like, adding to the internet tab, changing the default analog clock to something like Pocket Digital Clock, getting rid of the envelops on the Email and Messaging Tab.
Plain Rom Question:
What ROM is the most PLAIN broken down copy of win mo 6.1?
at&t? htc? Like NOTHING!! except the OS.. I'll install my own cabs.
User Customize question:
do the cabs have to be on top most folder level or can they be in a sub folder called "root"?
you can install from cabs you need to look that up it is everywhere.
roms stripped to the core are usually called lite roms or ultra lite roms.
throttle launcher was a program used to emulate 3d with is the real version that 2d was derived from (it was used before porting manilla 2d to other htc phone and now more than just htc phones)
throttle is really heavy and slow.
manilla can be customized. again look it up.
you will need manilla 2d if you have a kaiser.
Take a stripped ROM and have plain Manilla 2d without Throttle so you may have some better performance.
Regards,
Carty..
This is for manilla: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=398173
and this is for akdonny's supa-clean ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=410601
Allways the latest OS Build and no apps, not even the camera. If u go for it, have a look at my setup for setting it up, especially if u have a Kaiser not a Tilt.
Hi I want to know what is the different between manila 2D and spb shell !!
i have spb shell installed on my touch 3G! I want to know if I install the manilaa 2D it turn the touch flo2D to touch flo 3D and which is the better? manila or spb
Manila2D
Hi
I have tried all three shell softwares on my HTC Tytn II, which is QVGA. I have settled with Manila2D. I did prefer Manila3D in terms of functionality but I had a few problems with it and I have not had any problems with M2D. I did not like the functionality of SPB Mobile Shell but that is of course just my opinion. Manila2D works much better when it is cooked into a ROM. I think that this is also true of Manila3D.

Is it just me who finds things like SPB mobile shell and the like more hassle than they are worth?
Manilla 2d is a different program than manilla 3d, so know it won't turn the program into manilla 3d.
....and most of the time the program is better cooked into a rom, it really just depends on the rom though. Garmin has a rom for the kaiser that runs m3d better than roms that have it cooked in.
I just want to know could I install manila 3D in HTC 3G or Not ?
and If I install It WHETHER My touch flo 2D turn to Flo 3D like diamond ?
Hi
Hi
You may be able to install M3D on your device, I can't advise more on that so it may be a case of trial and error unless somebody else can advise otherwise. If you were able to install M3D on your device you would effectively have both M2D and M3D installed, so you may have some problems with internal storage space. You can't turn M2D into M3D. It may be better to seek out a ROM without M2D or with M3D cooked into it.

can someone plz help me find a link to download touchflo for my htc touch. i bought it and it came without the touchflo and now i cant find it
From my understanding, touchflo consists of a ftouchflo which controls the gestures and opening the cube, and htc cube for the cube. install both of these and you should be alright.
Here is a cab, I'm not 100% sure if it will work, since I got rid of my touch years ago but give it a go I guess http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=403265.
In all honesty, if I was in your position I would just flash a new rom.
