No such thing - you would have to buy a phone (and it would not be a HTC Universal) with WM v6/6.1 installed already.

I can't cook ROM. Meyby some users (frauhottelmann, dr. Gonzo) cook WM 6.5 on Vox.

There is no WM 6.5 Standard ROM out yet. And I can only repeat myself, Professional on the Vox doesn't make sense to me!
Once I am able to get a WM 6.5 Standard ROM, I will cook one for the Vox!

Hi, I was surprised today as I found this forum (never heard about WM6.5, especially for (old) HTC Wizard). I'm curious about how do you get WM6.5? I don't think M$ give WM6.5 ROM for free.
I think all WM6.5-Roms here are Beta-versions, right? If so... is there any restrictions? Or can I use WM6.5 on my device like if it's a "fullversion" (SMS, eMail, ActiveSync, Internet...)?
I don't want to start a debate about legal-rights, just as I said I'm curious about it.

Non of the wm 6.5 rom are official and there never will be an official. M$ official release of wm 6.5 will be in october. According to M$ the WM 6.5 is only a skin change of 6.1 and will be an lite version of windows mobile 7 for low end devices and WM 7 for high end. If you want WM 6.5 you can find one in the Windows 6 section under wizard but non official

well my HTC Mapel S520 originally ran on windows mobile 6.1. But then i decided to upgrade to windows mobile 6.5 as it was up on the HTC website.
Is there anyy way I can downgarde back to windows mobile 6.1. I dontt like version 6.5. Its to slow and theres not much of a change and half the sofatwares i had before are not compatiable anymore.
So please help is there any windows mobile software for windows mobile 6.1. I need to downgrade.
