Doesn't CorePlayer support this?

However it doesn't remember the m4b position like ipod.
I wish it could be true, then i would give my ipod a rest.

COPYING DVD TO PPC ?

Thanks to Spb Pocket PC Tips and Tricks (some very useful info here), I've decrypted my DVD with DVD Decrypter, ran AutoGK, and PocketDivXEncoder. DVD is now on SD card and I play it with BetaPlayer. Problem is I only get the 'Director's Cut' soundtrack and not the original soundtrack. The file on my PC plays the original. Anyone any ideas ?
Aparantly you have selected the wrong sound-track.
It should not bepossible (unless you created a multi-audio DivX) to have 1 single AVI playing different audio on different hardware.
Tip:
For this purpose Microsoft has the Windows Media Encoder suite.
AFAIk it has all the important options.
No need for extra players/codecs on the PPc!

Essentially true but BetaPlayer is more flexible, will play a greater number of formats and remembers where you left off which WMP doesn't.

How to create Media Player PLAYLISTS?

Hi all,
I'm trying to create or to copy my playlist from the computer to my Magician, but I couldn't! I don't know how to do it.
If I copy the .WPL from my PC to Magician, it doesn't open. When I'm using the Pocket Microsoft Media Player 10, my library have a lists of Playlists, but it's always empty and I don't know how to create one.
Can anyone help me please?
The playlists hold a definitive list of where a file is stored. If you have the stuff in "my music" then the files will be in c:\Documents And Settins\ (Username)\My Documents\My Music, and as such all files in the playlist will be listed in this location, and as this location does not exist in the device, it cannot find the files. You also need to copy the actual music files across, not just the wma files (Music files are mp3, wma, etc.)
If you want to use the device as an MP3 player, you should really get a storage card to store the music on.

I think you got me wrong. I already have a Storage Card and about 100 WMA files. The Library on MP is OK, but I have no Customized Playlists. That's what I want.
Got it?
Thanks!
Ok as to making playlists in Pocket Windows Media Player, i have no idea. i just had a look at my universal and i cant see the option.
Hoiwever, in the program that i use instead of WMP (Pocket music from pocketmind.com), you can make, view and edit playlist easily, plus it has a nice today screen plugin.
so one can not make new playlists in windows media player
The Pocket PC version of Windows Media Player does not allow you to create or edit playlists. But there is a freeware program for it!

searching good mp3/aac/ video/music player

Hi to everyone.
I am searching for an good mp3 and eventually aac player. windows media player is nice for a few songs but I really hate the way you use the libary (the way you need to change one directory up for other artist etc with you stylus).
tcpmp is nice for movies but not for mp3 playback with more than 50 songs - or am I wrong?
i have heard of ppod but development is frozen and i dont know if i should try it?!
what do you use and what can you recommend?
Ohhh : I need the software for wm2003se (its a HTC Magician)
kind regards, VL

Listening/Transfering Music

Do you all manually add mp3 or other files manually? Do many use WM6 devices as their primary pmp?
I find it is inconvenient, but I just dropped some $ on a TyTN II and I don't want to carry another device for music. I haven't used TCPMP before.
What sort of setup do you have for listening, converting and syncing music?
I have a TyTN II, 200 gb of music (in .aac, .mp3, .flac, .shn, .wma, .wav and CD), licences for Pocket Player and Pocket Music (with the .aac extension).
How can I add ipod like convenience with this tools?

Any free music player what can properly sort files?

Hello.
Is there a music player that know how to properly sort files, so after file1 it would play file2 and not file10 ?
Thank you.
You have to turn shuffle off.
Yes, Captain Obvious, it IS off.
For some reason all players I've tried so far sort files as:
file1
file10
file11
file12
...
file2
file20
file21
This goes to sorting by filename or data in ID3 tags
In PHP/MySQL it's called "natural" sorting, I believe
Sorry. But that was the first thing that came to me. What phone do you have?
Google Music Player
That's the best music player anywhere online or offline
winamp ?
Uber Music by Federico Carnales has an advanced media scan and he claims it uses "true shuffling" so you can try that..
I had this same problem (while using CM9 music player) and I found that by hitting party shuffle it fixed it?
first try to rename file1 to file01 and file2 to file02 eccetera eccetera... After that i used doubleTwist Player, freeware from Google Play, you can create playlists with that.
I like TTPod

try to rename the files and then use the doubletwist player
TTPOD is the best music player...

If I have to rename files any player would do just fine. It defeats the point of this topic - finding a player that sorts files properly.
They are being sorted properly, all operating systems recognize 10 as coming before 2. Use a program like Mp3tag to automatically rename all of your music files to the correct convention; 01, 02.......10,11, etc.
Sent from my HTC One X
And what the "all operating systems" are you referring to? Windows sort them just fine without prepending with zeros.
