Inigma is 2D codes, not 1D.

I want to try Microsoft's A.U.R.A. but the download fails. Anyone have it?
Edit: I found the cab hiding through Archive.org!

Problem is it's not scanning without an error, and I'm not sure if it's my phone camera's fault or not.

Hi all!
I was interested in using a QR Code but ran into a strange problem... I tried to use many different generators and the problem is always the same:
ex.: I go to http://qrcode.kaywa.com/, choose URL as Content Type and enter http://www.divita.eu as my url. When I scan the qr code afterwards, I get the link in plaintext instead of the clickable link format :/
What is the most interesting, is that www.ivita.eu, www.dvita.eu or www.diita.eu are working well. My conclusion was that the problems is because of the "div" part
Could someone confirm this? Do you have an idea on how to solve this problem?
thnx a lot,
Philip Seyfi
I tried to read it with many different readers (every reader I could find for my phone)... I have TyTn II

Cool! It works fine in 3.5... Tehey probably fixed the bug between 3.3 and 3.5. I hope other readers will do the same in the near future
Hi
does anyone know of a RSS Reader that would sync with Google Reader? I've tried SpeedReader but it hangs a lot and doesn't work for me on a Touch HD
thanks
D
sorry, didnt search properly, I'll delete thread when i find out how!
Could you tell us what you found?
I only know Kinoma and Speeed Reader, but both aren't that great.
just installing pRSS Reader http://code.google.com/p/prssr/ and ViiGo http://viigo.com/download will let you know how they go

SBSH GoNews can do that and it is also very finger friendly. If you register at their forums, you can get 30 % off the price.
great, SBSH GoNews looks brilliant and just what i wanted. Just trying it out though and no matter what i do (and i have verified all the settings) will it sync with reader, its just not working (other examples on the forums) so I'm hoping to get access to a beta they have of 1.2

pRSS didnt do it for me, all feeds (from different folders in google reader) end out in one big list although technically it worked very well although i think it only sync's one way (read on pRSS didn't mark google reader as read)
ViiGo looks good but i wanted a 'lighter' app without all the bolt on's so thats gone
Holding out for the beta release of SBSH Touch as it looks perfect for what I want, just can't work out why it wouldn't work!

You need to create a folder in Google Reader for GoNews sync, and then add name of this folder to sync settings in GoNews. If a "Google Reader" category in GoNews is not created automatically, you can add it manually to your category list and then synchronize it. Channels will be created from the Google Reader folder selected for syncing.
They promise faster download speeds in 1.2. I hope that multiple Google Reader folder syncing can be added as well.
Hi
thanks for the tip but I had already tried that and it didnt work. Just waiting for the beta still ...
fyi there is a new version of speeedreader out next wednesday. It is much much improved so therefore your wait may be over soon!
wanted to second that. The author of speeed reader is getting ready to put out a 1.0 code of his software, and it works quite well on an HTC Whitestone and WM6.5
Anybody got it working? I have the T-mobile USA HD2, and I tried installing the program in main memory and memory card(different times of course). When I start up the program, it gets to the main screen of the program and then crashes right out. Saying something about sending info to MS for the crash.
me too
I second this. happens on my HD2 on all roms so far.
Im using QuickMark and it does work
im using i-nigma and it works perfectly

Well mine worked but crashed once(soft reset). And that's when I found out it asked me to pay to tell me what the barcode said.

It's a small program, and free, can you email it to me? [email protected] (exactly like that with the spam in it).
Maybe its my download from the website.
I tried it and it didn't not work for me until I updated it to the newest version. I use the program to download programs from Freewarepocketpc from time to time and they have a link to the newest version
I finally got mobiletag to work. Does it autofocus and lock in focus? ALl mine seems to do is go from focused to unfocused. BUT someone it'll read the barcode.
I'm using the elegancia rom and i-nigma works perfectly fine for me.
mobiletag is OK. just that it takes like 5-10 tries before I can get it to read a barcode.
I need to get one of the others (barcode scanners)to work.

Ive sent the email
Version 3.03.01 works fine on my HD2. In the About page it states that it is for the HD2
Thanks. Yup. The version that works is that one. Just dont have it do the update. As that fails once installed.
The camera works the same way mobiletag. Its out of focus, then goes in/out of focus and then somehow reads the barcode. I would figure it would autofocus to get the clearest photo, but I guess it reads the photo "live" and reads the barcode in teh split second it's in focus.
So far I think Mobiletag is the most interesting as it pulls multiple online locations to show prices. Doesn't seem to take any local stores (I'm in hawaii), so I dunno if the gps location works.
Drawback is it takes forever to get a tag read.
The i-nigma looks "cleaner" for the photo screen, still takes a few tries to get a barcode read(not as much as the Mobiletag) but then it asks you what you want to do. look it up on Amazon or something else, then it loads your browser to that page. So it seems more basic.
thing is, as it says on the website, you can go to i-nigma.mobi with your device to get the correct version automatically. worked fine for me every time.
It work well with me
T-mobile hd2
I confirm a silly bug: if you go to i-nigma.mobi you get a cab that installs a flawed version, which closes right after starting it... if instead you download it from thre "mirror download" at freewarepocketpc.net then you get a version that works on the HD2.
Very, very silly if you ask me

Good tip, I now have i-nigma running.
Problem now is it won't read a barcode on my HD2. If I manually enter a barcode it searched Google.com or Amazon.com, so how do you get it to search other countries, such as co.uk ?
Mine is working too ..... I downloaded at pocketfreeware ...... btw is there anywhere to decode the BlackBerry QR code ?????

I can confirm, works just fine now. I'm using Artemis v18.0 ROM.
searched high an low and found a bunch of nothing except jetset print5 which i wouldnt mind but mighty rom doesnt have it.
does anyone know where i might be able to dl it or if anyone knows of a better app that would be great.....thanks.
ok, so no one knows, how bout this....does anyone know how i can take the jetcet print 5 off my old touch pro and then install it onto my tp2?
Hi Tregrad,
You could try CAB'ing one of the version found in the TouchPRO/Fuze OEM Repository.
I do suggest contacting Weksttek before going through the effort however so as to confirm that JETCET Print is compatible with the new Bluetooth implementation found on the TouchPRO2/Tilt2 and WinMO 6.5.x.
Cheers,

Here you go. Jetset Print 5 all in a nice little cab. I installed it on my TP2 (which it did install to the main memory) to check it out but I have no way to test it. Give it a spin and see if it works out for you. Hope this helps.

that's what I call service. I was going to suggest looking in the windows marketplace, that's where I got my install of it.
awesome PRB thanks a lot i really appreciate it!! I believe there is a 5.1 version out there but this will do just fine, again...... THANKS!
I looked all over the place for it but it costs money and it comes with teh phone so i didnt think i should have to buy it when i have phones that already have it on it.
wow having a real hard time setting it up. will try again later
As pointed out my earlier reply, certain versions of JETCET Print are not compatible with the new Bluetooth implementation (stack) that is present in WinMO 6.5.x and WinMO 6.1.21000+. The best approach to use would be to download the trial version and test it before hand - since it's the latest version.
Here's a link on the subject from about a year ago:

And a link on .CAB'ing an OEM Package of JETCET Print:

Yea i thought he would follow your advise because you posted as i was typing my reply & uploading the cab i found. I was unaware of the different versions for the new bluetooth implemintation. I did not create the cab I just found it. I was also unable to test the cab as i do not have bluetooth capability on my printer. You advice was probably the best course of action.
I browsed through their Online Support knowledgebase and discovered that there is a 5.4.1198 version floating around. I also noticed these KB articles which confirm my suspicion that earlier version will likely be problematic on new versions of devices:
4516: What Bluetooth stacks does JETCET PRINT support?
7813: What printers does JETCET PRINT v5.2.1059 support?
7839: The HTC HD2 and HTC Touch 2 with JETCET PRINT 5.4.1187 in ROM are unable to locate the PlanOn printer via Bluetooth. What is the problem?
is this possible ?? i have a tg01 and im hoping to use it as a webcam

tinycam, but thats more of a netcam. It's on the boards here, and I've commented on the post if you wanna just look through my posts.
Make sure you are installing the software for any of these applications to the phone as well as the desktop/laptop. It should prompt you to install it to the phone during the regular installation. You will likely have to check your phone during the installation and hit accept.
You can also try webcamera plus. Its not free, but google is your friend.
