General:
Several things are installed during customization. Please do not skip the customization.
AT&T users will find it already set up for use. Wait for the connection wizard to pop up and say NO. Then disable it on the next screen.
Non-AT&T users need to let connection setup run to set up your connection.
Hardspl 3.56 is recommended. (3.29 will work fine)
Manila version users MUST install a version of opera for the internet tab to work

This is a modified version of the opal dialer to work with this rom. Thanks to Mbarvian for his work on the original cab. The skin was started by kidnamedalbert. I just added a few more graphics for landscape. The dialer is fully working as far as I know. I have it on my device. Please let me know of any issues.
Before installing put phone in airplane mode. Some also reccomend disabling cprog.exe as well. I did not and it installed fine.

I just loaded it up, and so far so good. Seems pretty speedy. The splash screen is great (Liquid Match). Glad to see something other than black. Im growing weary of the whole diamond black stuff.
Going to load up all the normal apps and gps (TomTom6) and run the piss out of it for a while.
Will update this post as I go.

Well Ive been using for the better part of the day. Added my usual apps and tweaks.
Only problem I have found is with the backlight. If you have it off for any extended period of time (more than a few minutes) it wont turn back on with one press of the power button, first just flashes the screen, the second turns it on. I've heard of this in other roms, but Im not sure if someone has come up with a fix yet. I will have to search for that. Overall, a very clean, speedy, reliable rom. And at the end of the day I think thats what most people are looking for. I look forward to any newer or updated verision. Thanks again.

Thanks for the feedback. I have yet to find a major issue. I am running TomTom 7 with no issues so I would assume 6 will run fine as well. I kinda have to agree on the diamond concept. I have tried to get some color into the ROM. If you decide you dont like the boot screen there are some others posted as well as the same one with no logo. Let me know if you run into any issues and I will do my best to fix them.

At the first time, I didn't use the right HardSPL to up ROM, everything is not good at all (long processing, un-sensitive touch, etc.). But now, as I use RECOMMENDED HARDSPL to install that ROM - it's truly good - running very fast and working also smoothly.
Beside that, uptil now, maybe I have detected one BUG - It's WIFI CONNECTION. This function can't turn on by WIRELESS-MANAGER (the status of switch button is always OFF), but it still can use by using WIFI-MANAGER (Start -> Setting -> Connection -> WIFI). Even WIFI is actived, AUTO-DETECT fuction also doesn't work, just one way to setup WIFI - do it by YOUR HAND .
I hope it's just a problem with my phone - not this ROM.

I've installed your WLFIXED.cab, now, the status of WIFI Switch button is can be ON or OFF and absolutely it works by right way! But, when I click "Setting" (menu at bot right of screen) -> choose "Wireless LAN" - nothing is present, no new-windows is shown - and it's a little bit problem in this ROM.

Hmmm ok Ill take a look at the cab. I got it working on my phone last night. It must be something missing in the reg settings. Ill upload a new fix asap.
EDIT:
Can you open the registry editor and go to HKLM->Software->HTC->CommManager->WLAN and tell me what the setting under (Default) is for you? The reg settings in the cab look fine. (you did soft reset after installing ?)
The value for (default) should be "\Windows\WLANsettings.exe"
I will cook a new version tonight if I cant find a quick fix for you. I was kinda holding on the next version while I decided if I wanted to update a few of the apps with Opal versions.

This is a problem with the base. It was in the pre release and the official releasse. I have yet to find a fix for it. I am guessing ATT couldnt figure it out either since its in the official as well.

It's my mistake, maybe I forgot to re-start after installed. As your recommend, now I find nothing to complain about this ROM. If anyone want to find a reliable and stable ROM for your Kaiser AT&T Titl - IT'S HERE!

Rom upgrade
Tried to install this on my TyTn 11, After I installed the rom my phone locked and all I was left with was a screen showing a match burning water I tried a reboot and the same screen showed and it didn't progress any further. I am using a Romeo rom 4.6 at the moment and have flashed many roms in the past. Any ideas?

My guess would be a bad download or old data from previous rom. I would flash stock then flash the rom again. I highly recomend flashing stock at least every other rom change. Then be sure to hard reset after you get to the press here to setup screen the first time. So far everyone has been able to load it no problem. If you still have any problems let me know.
I will most likely be uploading a newer version tonight or tomorrow.

GREAT ROM... but i have tried to use the weather tab and it cannot get it. it says "unable to retrieve data for selected city. select here to retry." how can i fix this?

Known Bugs:
There's one actually that I can't figure out! It seems to be a WM6 issue only and reported on most roms already published here. Maybe something from HTC or Microsoft waiting for a hand! Anyway, it's related to the Wifi icon on the startbar.
When you connect to a hotspot or an AP, the icon changes to that static "antenna" figure just after seconds. Sometimes you have to manually connect from settings even if you had launched from Commmanager. Then, it keeps in that way for some time. You feel like you aren't connected but it is. So, it's more about visual than use itself. Need help here...
This is the only one I came up with. Hopeless!

General Notes: (Please Read before updating)

- Before asking, attention to details
- There is no IPL/SPL, extended rom and splashes screens... JUST OS!, so I think its safe for G4 users.
- Extended Rom + Splashes Screens are available separately. Links in this post.
- Radios 2.19.11 UK more stable and fewest issues and no missed calls.You can also try this newest one 2.71.11 which I'm using on mine device.
I haven't had major issues like misssing or dropping calls not even loss of signal, etc...So, I consider a good one as alternative to 2.19.11.
- You MUST have an IPL and SPL at 2.xx or higher (BOTH not just one or the other).
- High recommend to reflash an official rom before flash this one.
- If you want to improve A2DP; edit it by any Tweaking app like this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=291770 or search for that
- If you change some thing, you have to wait for a minute before restarting to make sure the device get your changes.
- If you have any issue with A2DP visit this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=308752
- Are you a new cruiser searching for Cooking glory?? You'd better go to Howto flash a Wizard... a little tutorial first! (Sticky Thread).

Fantastic rom. I dont know if its stable, cause i have been using it for an houre but i think it is. It is very fast, nice looking,, about 29 mb free rom , many preinstalled themes and usefull programs, except large start menu. Very satisfied. GREAT WORK

Regarding the Start Large Menu, I really decided not use cause on mine didn't work properly. It looks nice but not functional....at least on my device.

Noob here, just getting up to speed with the whole flashing and what not. Have downloaded this and it looks impressive - thanks for the efforts.

When I try and open it, computer gives error - cannot read file ??

RUU is the file that comes packed in most of the roms on here right ??

Found the thread, files and tutorial on the RUU set up. Followed the instructions - and have now successfully flashed this new impressive rom.
I like - no errors, no issues at this point.
One thing - cannot find the battery status set up screen to make some changes, etc - can someone please let me know where it is

You don't actually need to change anything regarding scrolling. It's already enable by default. I only usually change pressure field from 11000 to 20000. That's all. Schaps tool is showing what features and settings are configured already. Normal.

Bugs?
- Bluetooth turns on at start then shuts off. I honestly don't think this is a bug. If it stayed on then it would be, but since it shuts off maybe it's just checking something.
- Internet Sharing disconnects unless you uncheck "On External Power" in Power Settings
- You will get a Customer Feedback message once and once only. Just tap Next and close. (Anyone know how to kill this?)
- I don't have video dialing so unable to test on 3.08.DKv1.1, should work fine on 3.08.DKv1.0 since dialer is untouched.
- I don't use Black Berry Connect, but it looks like this doesn't work
- I don't use Exchange so unable to test
- Delete dword CWSLayout=1 or change dword CWSLayout=0, located in HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\KEYBD for Kaiser Keyboard Layout. Cab fix is also attached.
If anyone wants to modify these roms, all registry settings are intact so just use KaiserKitchen by Jscepi to extract, modify and re-cook. My tweaks are in OEM\OperatorPKG\mxipupdate_oemoperators_106.provxml. PagePool is untouched.
I've been using this for about a week and I haven't noticed too many bugs. Threaded SMS is great. I'd love to get some feedback from anyone that trys out my rom. I didn't use the 5.0 version of the camera or the 4.2 version of MMS that has SMS and MMS separated since I don't use that much. If there are enough people that want it, I will change these out and add album in my next build.

Any way I can get you to cook in User Customziation? The effort is trivial and ROM flasher's coming from other UC capable ROMs will be able to get up and running automatically. I'm promoting this as a standard across all cooked ROMs since it'll work on any device.

Here's a bunch of themes to get rid of the green. I didn't purposely make my theme green, it just is because wm6.1 default is green. erric191 also has blackbars.exe that will turn the bars black. Not sure what issue you're having with the dialpad, but my roms default format is for Tilt.

Getting ready to flash, but just a thought, since this is UC compatible, wouldn't it be beneficial to the rom user if he/she knew everything that was cooked in? Completely for the purpose of comparing with one's own sdconfig. I dont if UC roms automatically detect duplicates or what, but it would be a bit self defeating if one had to go through an remove dup progz. Anyways, thanks for the post...looks good.
ajmoncrief - That's a good idea. I added a "Untouched Programs" section to my first post. Since my rom is already pretty light, there wasn't too much to add.

I am using my own theme in every OS i am using. Just after flashing Your bios my wife wanted to play mahjong on my device and it was first time she saw it without my default theme
... next step was writing xml for her tornado ...
... green one ...
... she forced me to do so ...
Anyway, i belive that any user who flashed his OS will also know how to change device theme
btw, I _cannot_ say that troubles with GPS are bug in Your bios... I used 'KaiserTweak' to activate 'assisted gps' - before this step GPS was OK. So, it's possible that settings that KaiserTweak is changing are slightly difftent in 6.1...
Qlphn - I meant to reply to you earlier. I drove down to Duke's in Malibu for dinner last night from downtown Los Angeles using TomTom with aGPS enabled and I didn't notice any problems. I personally don't use aGPS because I never noticed any real benefit from it.
As far as that green theme, sorry. I used to have a Q and it was such a pain writing xml's to get my phone looking the way I wanted.
GPS trouble was present only in apps that are using 'old way' - COM4...
Applications using Windows managed access to GPS were working OK even with 'assisted GPS on' - that's why i said it's 'minor trouble'. Morever, it's possible I messed up sth - so we need at least second person with the same trouble to start taking it seriously...

Installation: Install as normal. On first boot, wait for all automatic stuff to install BEFORE clicking on the box that says "click to install..." The final version of this ROM will have a handful of tweaks and goodies, as well as a more unified theme. Right now I'd mostly just like feedback on the stability and speed of the ROM.
I've found the responsiveness to be outstanding - especially in the File Explorer (including start menu), camera, and messaging apps. In fact, this is the first ROM where I have been able to use the camera with any sort of confidence.
I am sorry to say that you downloaded a version with a serious bug that will cause the ROM to crash ... a lot. Please download from the link again and delete the old file!
You will need to download and install the radio separately using the link in the 1st post.

Since this is an AT&T based ROM, should I expect Cingular Video to work right out the box or do you think tweaking will be needed.

I've never used CV before, I'll have to look into it. I doubt it will be working out of the box with this rom. Other video sites seem to work well though.
edit: I have added realplayer into the new build. The AT&T proxy manager applications are in there too. Is that all that is needed?

I still have some minor things I need to sort out, but I'm at about 90% on this ROM.
A lot of time went into making the new theme. This includes a WM6 theme made from scratch, new wallpaper, boot screen, home clock, and home icons. At some point I will also be skinning the dialer and improving the theme in other areas. I hope you find this ROM as good looking as I hope I made it!
I can't track down the bug with the File Explorer icon. I replaced the icon in the file with a new one, but it appears that it is still showing a scrambled version of the old icon. I don't know where this is coming from yet, but I should have it fixed it short order.

Yea that little bug took me by surprise today. It's SO annoying! Not only does it make typing text impossibly tedious, but it slows down the overall ROM as well. LAME! I should have tested more before release...
Fortunately I've fixed it in my current build and will be making a release probably tonight (read: early morning like 2am) if I can manage to squash a few more bugs.
NEW VERSION
Okay, I should probably give some time between releases to let people play with each version of the ROM, but I there were some bugs that were too annoying in RC1 to leave around for long (like the keyboard thing).
RC2 is a marked improvement and includes about 90% of the changes I wanted made. This could be considered a milestone release and as long as there is nothing major that turns up immediately, I won't be releasing another version for several days.
I am most excited about the new subtle battery. It works like batti or vistahide battery meters, except it is themed to be just barely noticeable. At 100% battery power, you can't even see it at all. As the battery drains, you can see the meter only if you're looking for it. It's FAR LESS annoying than the rainbow battery meter that has been so popular lately. Let me know what you think!
There is a bug that I believe has to do with Net CF 3.5 that is causing Windows Live Mobile not to work. This is one of my favorite programs, so I will be tackling the bug soon.
Let me know what you think - I'd especially love to hear feedback on the overall theme and new battery meter!

Do you mean 8925??
If it's an AT&T Tilt you should be just fine. But before installing the ROM, be sure you have installed HARD-SPL!!! I cannot stress this enough!

I'll give it a whirl
so I tried it and I really actually like how zippy my phone is. The only problem is that I have no sound. At first I used the polaris radio 1.58, and then I switched to the 1.64 radio and I still have no souind. Does only a certain radio work with this ROM?

Cube v6.01 has been uploaded, with v6.01 Lite, Clean & UltraClean to follow within the next couple of days. Make sure to see post #2 for cube beta bugs & fixes.
UltraClean to Lite ROMs differ from my previous ROMs because I decided to leave out all the touch skins. These will be present in the fuller ROMs (Multimedia - Cube).
If you have any suggestions for the fuller ROMs (Multimedia - Cube), please post them before I release them, and I'll see if I can add it. I will be adding similar packages found in my previous ROMs, found on Alex's v5.2 ROM wiki
The only radio that works other than 1.65.17.10 (the radio from hell) is 1.65.14.06, which has been included by default in the v6.01 ROMs. You can find 1.65.14.06 radio only in the folders for v6.0.
I use Bepe's All-in-one RGU & DSM for a faster ROM and therefore cannot be extracted easily. The kitchen and all the extracted applications will be released a week after all the ROMs have been released.

Cube Beta v6.01 looks similar to the image below. Pocket CM has been removed in favor of HTC Random access. The dialer & PTT has been left as AT&T default for video sharing purposes. Batti has also been removed and was replaced with VistaHide Battery Gauge w/touch-like skin. Today Agenda has also been removed.

Thanks I've been looking for a ROM stripped of everything including the camera (have the Tilt NC which doesn't have a camera) so we can pick and choose apps individually.
Plus as AllTheWay said, we know it works with the radio some of us are stuck with.

Odd I don't have anything .. When I hit the button I get a target shortcut error. Button 5 (That is the camera button right?) doesn't have anything assigned.

Radio not to bad.
Just had a 46 min phone conversation. Battery went from a 86% to 82% in a EDGE coverage area.
...and while driving home the phone conversation that I was having didn't drop at the normal spot.
...but I still want to be able to change this radio

I'm confused about your post... This ROM is released w/o a radio, meaning you can flash this and use any WM6.1 radio.
As for wanting to try out the radio that did ship with the original ROM, it's very ill advised

ROM development has come to an end... Reason is i got a new device and had to sell my htc kaiser in the process.
i recently learned how to cook roms and had great help from many people (much appreciation to them)... cant mention all of them coz i probably dont remember but a few are TPC, OndraSter, mbarvian, joshkoss, S.V.I, Anryl, Da_g, stylez and more. sry if i dint mention u
FYI - i don't hold myself responsible for any damages caused by my roms. I advise that if u dont know what ur doing, do some research on how to flash a rom and always remember to have hardspl before flashing any custom rom, i would suggest reading the [Resources] Flashing Your First Kaiser Rom (For Noobs) thread
ok so i like full roms and i recently made a stable version with which im on my 3rd day now and i would like people to give their opinions on my rom i.e the things which may not be needed in a full rom or perhaps the things which should be added...
native 6.5 kernel is used in this rom (no more recmodding )
the rom is loaded, but its smooth as can be.
i would like to hear ur feedback so that we "together" can make the perfect full rom

Backup your device before making any unfamiliar changes. Hell just backup anyway, you can never have too many backups, only too few.

and before flashing, please make sure you have HardSPL installed. Also if using Vista or Win 7 (flashing thru pc) make sure you have administrator priviledges.

Re-flash to a stock rom. Then install JJ's. Then flash a recommended radio version.

Q. Battery draining fast? Tried different radios already? Try these tips:
Reduce backlight time and brightness.
Turn off bluetooth, GPS, wifi, and direct-push when not in use.
Pressing the power button doesnt power off your device, it only sends it to sleep. To turn off fully hold the right side power button for 5 seconds and switch off device when not needed, i.e. overnight.

Do you have a supported operating system and all drivers updated? IF not you may be able to get around this by using Microsoft Virtual PC to run a copy of XP.

You can't it's coded into the rom. You can however get around this by running SPB mobile shell or some other progam on top of it.
Q. Why won't my CAB file install?
It's not supported by this OS. Find a copy that is supported from the manufacturer, or search these forums.
Sometimes an interrupting program may be open so either softreset or hunt it down with a task manager

If all else fails, try flashing back to a stock rom and radio, then reflash JJblaster3's rom with a recommended radio.
Install extra programs one at a time keeping backups at each stage to find the cause of your issues. Then post your findings giving as many details as possible.

Just flashed it myself. Anyone interested in running GLbenchmark will need to do this.
UPDATE: GLbenchmark doesn't seem to wanna go past the second test. Either that, or I'm not giving it a lot of time. Doesn't matter, cause Call of Duty 2 works with 3D acceleration. :3 Now I can finally look into other 3D applications, like Quake 3.
Great.. I like the spirit of making ROMS on newer builds and to try to keep them fast ..
In the past I tried a huge quantity of ROMs (I flash a new ROM about every week), last 6.5.1 are TPC and Shifu's ROMS... TPCs are ugly SLOW! They are also beautiful, but aren't utilizable as also in message writing them stuck (lose most of letters!)!
Otherwise Shifu's ROM (3.1 is on 6.5.1 23049) is amazingly fast and well loaded!
It has S2U2 (that's beautiful and most of all helpful cause if you have a lost call, with new Mega Manila you can't see it, but with S2U2 if you click on the icon and then slide you see it ...)..
Also Shifu's ROM has volume toggle mapped to the PPT button ! Beautiful icons, "Isaac Mizrahi purple" and Menu Enhancement are the touch of cosmetic perfection of the ROM..
I really love it..
You can take example on his ROM and make even a better ROM with all this, newer build and maybe faster speed !
I will wait a true ROM that can have these features !
Oh.. and also CA Drivers are helpful for graphic performance, aren't them?

Just a few things
Firstly congrats on making this ROM, great work.
Couple of issues i found which if improved could make it even more awesome:
1. You may which to consider using the ver 5.04 camera drivers instead of v6 as our autofocus doesnt work at all with v6.
2. There's are missing link to the comm manager, doesnt get mapped to any keys and i cant find it available for mapping in the "Buttons" cpl
3. Backlight brightness adjustment doesnt work.
4. Consider using a different version of the "Album" app. The included one doesnt render corectly and is more limited in functionallity.
5. Quick Gps updates but wont apply update, punks out with an error.
6. Not sure about you but seems there are battery drainage issues too.

Yes battery drain is a problem, cos 40% went without any use of the phone in 7 hours, and i mean no usage cos i was asleep lol, wonder what could be causin this drain, i also noticed a lot of ram being used almost 70% at one point
I didn't experience any strange battery drainage. Over night, it only lost 3% power. Then again, I changed the power settings with AdvancedConfig 3.3, as I always do when I flash a new rom.
I go into battery and enable all the power management stuff. Go into phone to turn on fast sleep. Enable phone sleep during call. I also remember the power settings were set really strange too. Like 30 minutes for it to sleep when plugged in.
Quick Gps asks for location setting to be on. Not sure what that is, but it doesn't matter. I use GPStest, and iGo seems to run just fine.
I can't adjust the back-light either.
Just a note, would be nice if jjblaster3 could offer a version without Manilla 2D. Also, since it's 85MB ram, should probably come with the HTC graphics drivers. The internal storage also seems limited, like it's not using compression. Maybe offer a version with compression enabled?
Wow, much faster than 23053... 23053 was laggy like crazy... This one seems much responsive... Some little bugs here and there like when connecting to a wifi hotspot... but overall much preferrable over other roms... TFS...
Edit: For the battery problem... I noticed, this ROM has super BIG volume... maybe that cud cause it?>
drownage, I noticed the high volume too. It seems to only drain battery life when it rings. I've lowered it a lot to acceptable levels.

I can confirm that the backlight adjustment is NOT working...
ljinsane, its the same Manila Mega layout.. Screens wont be much different... its jsut faster, and more responssive... and the gfx drivers are much better than what i have seen so far...
