Last night I got my Mogul to work with the TouchFLO files. It looks and works great! I will try and add a video of it tonight. I'm so darn tired now.

Please provide links to the files you used as well as instructions on how you got it working on the 6800. All I get is a black screen when trying to get it to run.
I've tried installing the biotouch, alpha touchflo cab, HTC audio manager & plugin and no luck.

1 of the PPCgeeks mod had it working, but was unable to duplicate it after a hardreset, so it is possible, but difficult
well I go it to work from a hard reset but make sure you don't install the audio manager today plugin. Thats the one that gave me black screen, then I removed it and it started to work again. I'll get the step by step tomorrow. I've been doing some plumbing all day and I'm beat!

I wouldn't call that touchflo, from what little i've read that looks to be buttonflo. Not really changing it with a finger flick on the screen but with a button.
Looks like you have the 3 tab touch home plug, Contact Manager and a custom dial pad installed as well as button flo. When you get a chance, please give instructions and download links on how you got the button flo part working.

Yeah I'd call that ButtonFLO as well. Not to take away from what it is though, I'd love to get the files and installation instructions.

After I got the TouchFLO working I did a soft reset and made sure it still works. After installing each of these files I made sure the touch still worked then I did a soft reset after each install. So I installed 1 program at a time then checked if the cube worked, then did a soft reset. I hope this makes sense.
Forgot to mention, I did update my ROM to the newer one from here:

Hi guys,
I flashed to the new WM6 ROM, looks gr8, but when I try to change the theme (.tsk) to other themes that I used to have on WM5, the background image does not update...
so is WM6 incompatible with WM5 themes??? I did not install any version of XButton in my ROM...
Whenever I update my theme, I get the HTC default background image but theme colors update correctly...
what is this? any solution?
I have exactly the same problem and anybody knows how can i fix it but i hope that the people of xda can help us

I will try this, but switching to a different rom is not that easy, I spent much time personalizing things on my PPC.. I will be sad if that would be the only solution

its a known bug that any .tsk that you import wont work, i might be wrong .

What do you mean? I have nearly 250 .tsk files on mine (don't ask, when I get bored I make about 5 new ones, and I get bored a lot) and every one of them work.

edit: just tested the theme from pocketpctheme.com n it doesntt work. Color changes of task bar n start bar but background pic never changes wonder why. that is the only prob I have

Okay, I'm having problems tracking down which process is X-Button to kill it - what's the process name?
Ok i turned of X-Button and restarted my wiz, and then i changed the theme, nothing happened. I don't understand when i load the cab it doesn't extract properly or what.... the start menu that pops down when you click on start seems to get the theme loaded right but the background picture it loads to Default black. i dont understand what is blocking it....

are you trying to be funny? if yes i dont find anything funny to laugh about.... all i want to say is "if you cant help dont bother posting because you are just messing up the thread with bloat full of junk"
This is a known problem when using X-button. Either find the latest version of X-button (1.51 or something similar). Or go to start>settings>system>X-button and uncheck the boxes that says "enable X-button to end programs..."
If you do not have X-button installed, Then try changing your theme, waiting a few minutes and then soft-reset.
Nothin was right about themegence being the best freeware theme maker. I've used it to make every one of mine. If you go to MoDaCo to the Pocket PC Today Screens QVGA in the downloads section I have 30 or 40 of them in there that I've made. I'm going to have to check out where you guys are downloading yours from and see if I can figure out why they aren't working. Usually, at least the ones I've seen, you don't install them from a cab file. They're usually just zipped or a straight tsk file that you put straight in to either the windows folder or in the root folder of you sd card.
Well, I figured that out pretty quick. If you guys are all downloading them from pocketpcthemes.com, they are not working because the wallpaper part of it is not in the right format to fit a wizard. The images are too big so it's not using them, instead it's using the default wallpaper instead. Try downloading from the MoDaCo downloads section that I mentioned in the post just above this one, they should all work. I know that the one's that I made and mandt made will work for sure. I'll try uploading a bunch more there within the next day or 2 also. If there's any at that pocketpcthemes site that you really have to have, I could probably fix a few of them so they will work if you let me know which ones they are.

edit: I downloaded the themes from modaco, n they all work great. even w/ x-button. omg u r best xeno. but tell us wut u use to make theme so we can make too.

Hey, Firstly thanks for the files I was just wondering if you could clarify what exactly the video fix does as I have had no problems playing videos full screen on manila2d or Windows media. Thanks.

Just to get vid to play on manila camera short cut, sound like your rom has these files already so no need to use.

Is that what your file is called or is it typo, try renaming it to AlbumSearcher.exe and it will work!

The file is in your Manila2D package, and allows manila to open the album app, it's not in my oem/cab. they contain full screen video player and compatible album.
Yardie, was this a Kaiser specific flaw or in general? If you haven't already, you may wish to post this in the Manilla Development thread up in the main Development and Hacking forum as well.
I tried installing this on my Tilt- it's an AT&T stock ROM with M2D installed. The full screen failed to change anything (it still would not play within M2D) and then I tried to install HTC Album and it failed (I do have a version installed from my M2D package). Any thoughts?

try downloading the attached .cab, and make sure that you have FullScreen Player, and the Album installed. that should fix your issue

with your fix now i have video.. but if use the clasic album v2.0.1818.xxx
if have yours i can not see video but i can see all my photos around but in landscape only.. if also have close the hard keyboard the photos is in landscape always
with htc album i can see video with your fix but not all my photos only this in same folder with album i think.. but i see the photos in portait and ladscape if open the keyboard

EDIT: ARGH i just realised that i messed up somewhere in my upload, after menu it reverts to VGA with blackened places where it doesnt cover WVGA. still playable tho. gimme a while to solve it, i must have mixed some thing up some where

I got several mails requesting for the WVGA version of Warcraft 2 as seen at myblog . Its simple really, all you need to do is edit the preference files and you got yourself WVGA.
I believe there are a few WVGA versions on XDA, and i tried them, and i've no idea what he did but damn that was laggy and choppy. rest assured this isnt the same file, and its smooth and perfectly playable. (take note WQVGA is probably possible as well, just download the QVGA version from my other link, and download these preference files, and edit the two preference files inside with notepad, pay attention to the resolution)
Download the WVGA version (fixed tilesets and everything, shud be perfectly fine now)

and you're good to go! (u get better performance if u switch off the sounds)

Hi Baronic on my TD2 using Dutty's Holy Grail R0 (winmo 6.5) the game gets to the menu screen ok, clicking on start game it spends several seconds loading game elements (in red at the bottom of the screen) then exits to the home screen.
campaign or instant action? works fine for touch pro 2, so u gotta gimme more details. i have a diamond 2 as well but i didnt try it. if campaign or instant action same for other maps as well?

Hi Baronic, campaign mode seems to work fine, I hadn't tried that. Instant action is the one that exits to the home screen. I'm well happy with the campaign mode though. Thanks for this release.

i just tested it on my Touch Diamond 2, no problems at all. make sure u have enough ram perhaps. or maybe its something about the rom
instant action and campaign i repeat no problems on TD2
running official 6.1 rom. (dad's phone, lazy to flash lol)
if its instant action u're trying, try the smaller maps. could be ram issue.
to disable sound, start a game, then go menu, options to disable.
since more than two people have the problem i can only surmise maybe its related to the based on version of your rom.
i can only recommend some possibilities
1. check pagepool. i always use 16mb
2. check ram.
3. try disable TF3D
see if any difference.
BTW, please make sure u have downloaded the latest UPDATE 4 version. Try downloading again. There was a brief period for about 2 hours during UPDATE 3, when the zip file i uploaded had some essential instant action files missing. maybe u downloaded that before i could take it down. so try to download again and give it a shot

Tmous stock. I'm loading this beast up now i'll let you know.
I actually was less impressed when i put it on the machine. I couldn't for the life of me get the taskbar or softbar on my phone to change so it really took away from what the them could have been.
I went back to stock but if i could figure out how to get it to look like the example pictures they give then i'd go back in an instant.
I love the theme!! Only thing left to be done is to change the start menu font colour to black.

I tried to install this but the clock disappears. do i need to change the theme from the home settings. I had followed the instructions as mentioned in the thread but facing this issue. Please advice
Im scared to install it on my HD2 running stock ROM 1.72.831.1 because it reports the manilla version as 1.0.19211620.0 and I have hearded that it can't be "uninstalled".
Anyone tried it?

Do you have an Asian HD2?
Haven´t tried that one, actually, I have a European device...
About the second question: It´s true, uninstalling a theme like GTX may not be as effective as a hard reset.
Therefore, even if you test GTX by yourself on your device and if you discover too many issues, you can always hard reset your phone.

I really don't want to hard reset cos I have many hours of customisation work gone into it. I might give it a shot nxt time I ipgrade the ROM before I tweak anything else
Yeah its better if it is the first thing what you install on your new rom other wise you get problems etc...

You should use SASHIMI to make the customization process much more easy.
I started to use it everytime I flash a new rom and it is one of the most useful apps out there
You can restore also regs, copy files, install cabs...all automated.

Why don't you make a backup of your device, with e.g. Sprite, PimBackup etc?
If you first make a backup and install GFX and you notice it has too much bugs/problems, you can just hard reset your phone and put your backup back
