Disable locking - Touch Pro, Fuze General

Is there a way to keep the phone from not locking the screen and asking for my PIN number?
My employer is forcing me to install a certificate to be able to connect to the exchange server at work. And with this certificate comes a security policy that forces me to use the PIN-code lock. Furthermore the time setting for the lock is hardcoded to be as small as one minute.
This is way to short to be reasonable and I'm about to go nuts from having to enter my PIN-code over and over again.
So, is there an application out there that can solve my problem?
Like a G-sensor app that keeps the device alive as long as I'm having it in my hand and thus moving it?
Or perhaps a tweak or hack that can make me get at least 3 or 5 minutes before the device locks up...
Some advice would be appreciated!

I have the same problem. maybe there is a way to extend the locking time to more than 10 min!?

my company enforces 10 minutes, the problem with that is that even while driving and using tomtom it keeps locking!!!
Would love a work around for this, i dont mind it locking (i'd use this feature anyway), but it's stupid that it still forces a lock while using tomtom, how stupid!

Just in case u didn't find a solution yet. There is a small app that monitors the registry and prevents the locking. U only have to unlock the device like once a day. The name of the app is StayUnlock and u can check it here:

TomTom & Security Policy of MS-Exchange

Hello Forum! One question for the pros out there. Our company uses MS-Exchange servers for mobile Email access. One security policy is that the phone will ask you for the PIN every 5 minutes. Which sucks when you use TomTom, the display will show you the lock-screen then while navigation is in progress. After a few moments the display will go black. Well, that's not fun while driving. Is there a way of stopping the security policy automatically while TomTom is active? OK, there is a way of preventing the security policy in the registry manually, but I would prefer a automatic solution. Anyone?
Thank you in advance guys, and have a great weekend!

Ahm, seems that I'm the only one with that problem...
Hi
Just got my HD2 this weekend. Had phone connected to PC and logged onto my work email. The dreaded phone lock set itself up automatically

Worked on my device. Can now choose upto 24hrs. I can live with that. Lock seems to come on when the device powers down but I assume you will be running with some sort of power plugged in as GPS always seems to kill the battery. In that case you could set the backlight options not switch off.
Hope this helps
Thanks Dude, these Links are pure Gold!!!!!!

How to setup VPN without setting up a PIN

I created a VPN connection on my S3 but was forced to enter a PIN or a swipe pattern but now I am tired of having to unlock my phone everytime I wanna access it . I have put the auto lock to the max which is 30 mins but I still don't want my phone to be locked.
Is there a way to completely cancel any security / pin / pattern lock while keeping my VPN connection?
anybody home?
As far as I have read, no. There may be someone else to chime in with an app that bypasses it.
I wouldn't recommend it though, as part of the VPN your phone is "directly" connected to the computers and servers of the network you are connecting to. If it is a corporate network and someone who knows what they are doing should happen to find your phone, things could get ugly. The chances of that happening are slim, but enough to warrant the required lock.

Phone Hacked... Again.

I have a Galaxy SIII mini which has been hacked 4 times in the last 8 months that I have had it. Usually, the first 3 times, were kids doing pranks, turning on my bluetooth, etc but this last hack was malicious. Started turning on my GPS, bluetooth, and camera flash light then progressed to changing my system language and finally making it so that my sim couldn't connect to any cell towers. I have tried app locks, but this last time inspite of two seperate app locks, he succeed with ease to change my settings. I also subscribed to a VPN with a NAT firewall and that didn't help at all either. Now I have redid the OS again, this time installing CM 11 and I welcome any suggestions on how I can stop this from happening all of the time. Thank you.

what kind of hack are you talking about? is someone using your phone, or remotely accesing it?
remotely accessing it. no one has physical access to my phone.
You should set a encryption password for your phone and use the app : Lockdown pro to restrict access to everyone who don't know the password.
Stay tuned for my first CM11 theme soon.
What do you mean by encryption password? You mean to encrypt my phone?
I did install that app. One thing that I really like about it is it's ability to stop the installation of apps which is what I think that the hacker is doing: installing some sort of app on my phone.
Settings > Security Settings - Encrypt phone > see instructions there .

After doing more reading online, I believe that the hacker(s) may have their own 'cell network' and may be exploiting my phone whenever it connects to it. How can I prevent this from happening if that is the case?

[Q] Using watch with SmartLock

I have a Note 4 with Smart Lock. I wanted to set it up so that my watch can keep my phone from locking. I added the device to SmartLock successfully. Even if my watch is sitting right next to the phone, it is not unlocking it. I use a PIN. Is there anything else that I need to do, or is this just not going to work.
Thanks
I was looking for an answer to that too. I tried and it did not work at all.
I use tasker for lots of things, but I could never get it working with this. I have a task set up to unlock the phone if the bluetooth is connected to the Gear S2. Even when my connection is just fine, tasker doesn't see the connection and never unlocks the phone.
I use Gear s2 from Tmobile with my Note 4 with no problems. When locked I use patern not pin if that makes any difference. Running lollipop 5.1.1 , no root, latest gear manager from play store.
It is added to my trusted devices
This might be a misunderstanding on my part about how this is supposed to work. I have a PIN set up, and when I have my watch connected, it doesn't require the PIN. It just puts up the screen that I have to swipe. I expected that it wouldn't put up the swipe screen at all. I don't want it to, but can't find a way around it. I tried setting up tasker to disable the lock, but it didn't work. Apparently tasker doesn't know when the watch is connected. It does work for my bt headset.
I don't think it can be done. It looks like smart lock removes requirement for any kind password but doesn't remove screen lock altogether.

If you have one of those flip cases, it does unlock automatically. Other than that, I don't know a way around it.

Same issue here. Guessing a 2 part app (specific to s2 and android) might be able to solve the problem. The s2 app would communicate with the android app (not sure if background communication is possible for s2 apps though). Upon a cut in connection, the android app would trigger the lockscreen.
Thoughts?

I've never understood the need for that. When I don't have security on my phone, I have always just shut it off. An extra swipe accomplishes nothing.
Before the gear, I was using tasker to unlock my phone when connected to my wifi and when my bluetooth headset was on. I'd carry it with me, turned on, and my phone would not lock at all. It was flawless. Never saw the lock screen and never had to enter my PIN.
I might just go back to that, as the extra screen is really annoying and serves no purpose. I just have to remember to always have my BT headset turned on and on me. I always have my watch, but always seem to forget the headset.
I wish I knew why tasker doesn't recognize the the connection to the watch. My settings clearly show that the phone is connected to the watch, so it should recognize the connection, but doesn't. I don't know how much support tasker is getting any longer. I saw something about the developer having to take a break because of medical issues. There are now many other automation apps out there. Maybe I'll give some of them a try and see if one of them will accomplish what I am able to accomplish with tasker and my wifi/bluetooth headset.
When I add the watch to SmartLock, I get the following message:
Smart Lock can't detect the security features of this device. To help protect your phone, Gear S2 (393A) will only be able to keep your phone unlocked once it's already unlocked by you. Your Gear S2 (393A) can keep your phone unlocked when it's nearby, even if someone else is holding it.
Not sure what that means or what it does to the unlocking feature.
I don't know much about tasker but one time I played with tasker plugin called trigger. Maybe that can be help for you. It is possible that tasker looking for certain Bluetooth profiles being active and since gear s2 has no speaker there is not headset or headphone profile. On my gear s2 3g Bluetooth shows call audio profile.

Security Policy forces me to type my password every time I leave house

Hi,
I work from home, spend most my time there and fingerprint unlock my phones just fine, however, every time I go to a mall or something the dumbest-android-feature-ever kicks in disables my fingerprint and asks for my password to be typed in (under zillion sec cams)! Is there any way to disable this security thing/PITA?
BTW all my phones are behaving the same way.
