Hi guys,
I never use the speaker icon on the top bar.
Can i remove this, it seems to take up extra space which i'd rather have to myself
Cheers if anyone knows how.
I'm interested in knowing this too.... it tells me no information... and I can't even click it.

Its merely a shotrcut to your volume.
The only way to get rid of it would be to find a Topbar icon package that has taken it out.
Start here and follow the links, you'll find something.

i have tried 2 different dutty roms and i have a prob with the screen. there is a glitch in the upper right corner, looks like a sliver of the top bar is missing. anyone else have the issue or know how to fix it?
Its a battery indicator that will slowly move to the left as the battery discharges. I can't remember which of the apps can disable it but I'll look.
Thats a battery meter in WKtask! lol. You can disable it in the options.
OK its the WkTask app. Touch and hold the upper right corner of the screen and you should get to a screen that will let you change the preference page. Its on General2 tab Show Battery Gage...

Why create a new thread when you could have asked this questions in any one of my threads which that question have been asked already.

A little judicious positioning usually does the trick. You have to get it close enough to that row to drop the shortcut in, but not so close that the Trashcan swallows it.
PITA, i know. I just use a 3rd party Launcher and turn the stupid thing off!
Hello everyone!
I just need a quick info since i want to get rid of
an icon in my status bar.
I'm on nougat (latest superstock) on my flat s7 and the
one left to the wifi icon won't go away..
it's kinda annoying since i can't find out where it comes from.

N for NFC?
Yeah, I think it was actually the NFC - Icon. Once I turned NFC off, the icon was gone - thanks

What is this icon and/or process this icon is associated with?
It took me nearly 20 tries to catch it over the course of a few days. This icon is always accompanied by the GPS/Location icon as well.
The only times I've seen this is when turning on my screen. Sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not. However, anytime I have seen it, it's only for a split second and it's gone. It has never appeared while I'm using the phone. Only from a screen off state.

I noticed that the slider in the quick access bar (the buttons you get when you pull down the notification bar) has vanished with the latest update. Anyone else having the same issue or any idea how to re-enable this?

Edit: solution in second post.
Pull it down all the way.
Tap the carrot at the end of the slider.
Toggle on and off a few times the option to make it show the way you want.
It's hit or miss for me. Sometimes it shows up, sometimes it doesn't.

This is absolutely non-standard behavior and you are probably the only one who reported something like this.There must be a cause. Nothing else annoys you? Are you going to do something about it?

Not much help here other then to confirm that I just updated to WW_17.1810.1911.110 about a week ago and the slider is still on my "pull down". I didn't do anything special for this.
