I've just recently upgraded from the xda orbit to the xda orbit II. My problem is that i get an intermittent silence when listening to music through my Motorola S9 Bluetooth headphones. It only lasts for a few seconds before the music comes back on but it is annoying as hell! It never happened with the orbit I so is it my new phone or is it the headphones? ANyone had the same problem? or has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks
Scott
do you use the heaset as a bt service on your device? or do you use some kind of application to direct all sounds to the headset?

Had my XDAII with Logitech Mobile Bluetooth Headset for about 7-8 months when I started to lose volume from the headset. Sounded like I lost the call when this intermittent problem occurred. Headset was replace with another new one, same problem. XDAII sent away for repair, received back with same problem.
NOW
I have the XDAIIi with a different bluetooth problem. Thesound quality is poor most of the time. Main problem is that the headset volume is either far to loud or soft, it never seems to be the right volume. Also poor mic. I record my answer phone every day which includes today date for my business. Often the recording is broken or of poor quality.
I love this bluetooth headset as its unique in the way it grips your ear and you can easily clip it to your shirt when not in use. Does anyone have any suuggestions or similar experiences?
Paul.
I always use my bluetooth headset when talking to family and friends(due to the length of time, hate holding phone). Since, I switched from my nexus one people have griped about the interference/noise they hear when I'm on my bluetooth headset. It is not my BT headset as I've tried a few(motorola S305, and two smaller bluetooth earpieces), all of which exhibit the noise. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem ?
Running the Galaxy S I9000 ROM rooted.
Everyone complains about hearing me whenever I try to use a headset. Seems like the stack sucks or the radio is terrible.
Got the same problem. My bluetooth calls are loud and clear on my side, but everyone on the other side complains about static noice and I sound very distant.
I tried the original ATT rom (stock unrooted) and the most current 2.1 that is available for download. No difference.
Any ideas what to try to remedy this?
I haven't noticed anything like this on my Motorola S9-HD headset.
I have noticed sometimes it will cut the music every once in a while, whereas my iPhone never did.

This is a known issue with the I9000 ROM... Bluetooth doesn't work well for some...
I'm running the stock rom... is that the I9000 rom?
None of my friends have mentioned such a problem when i've called them, although I've only made bluetooth calls a couple of times (including on the bus and at home).
Using after-market Nokia BH-503s.
I'm definately seeing the same problem on the stock rom. Not as bad as athe I9000 ROM but still bad enough for them to complain. Seems like it's made worse by the different roms/kernels we've been flashing but there's definately a problem.

I'm seeing similar symptoms, except my music cuts out every 30 seconds or so. My setup is a Kensington iPhone adapter connected through aux input in my car with an Anycom FIPO on the iPhone adapter (it converts the iPhone/iPod adapter into a bluetooth receiver). I then stream from my Captivate to the adapter and it works fine except that it cuts out every 30 seconds. Did you ever figure out how to fix it?
UPDATE: Just wanted to add that I figured out what was causing my problem: having Wifi turned on. Once I turned it off, my bluetooth streaming worked beautifully, with no hiccups.
Still have a problem with this. Stopped using my BT headset completely... sucks having this thing stuck to my head for calls.
I have encountered several problems:
Party can not hear me at all; though I can hear fine.
Party hears tinny sound to my voice.
Headset disconnects while playing music.
Using a Motorokr S9-HD. Works fine with Samsung A-737.
I too have the static problem. This phone sounds wonderful on my end, but everyone complains that that can't hear me! This is so far the only complaint I have.... I hope someone will have a fix, or come up with something.
I have this problem too !
I have a set of Rockfish stereo headphones. they have been clear in calls and listening to music. Connected them to the sensation and now everybody that I talks to says that they hear an echo on their end when we are talking. This did not happen with my 2.0 version on the hd2. Is anybody else having a problem with migrating their previous 2.0 headphones to the sensations 3.0 bluetooth format?
If not, does anyone know how I can remedy this (if there is one)? Thanks in advance.
My Sony DRBT100CX's are 2.1 and work great.

I think he's saying Bluetooth 3.0 not Sense 3.0........
He is asking if anyone coming from Bluetooth 2.0 is having problems with their headsets on bluetooth 3.0
Ye. I have the same issue. The Phone will sync to bluetooth in my car but everyone states they get echo feedback. I have posted email to HTC, see what they come up with.
nice catch.

Thank you for pointing that out to me. I should have caught that he was unclear about my point.
yes, BLUETOOTH 3.0 & 2.0 compatibility. Not Sense 3.0

Hi,
I have a similar problem.i have a Sennheiser bluetooth earpiece. It works well on my Hd2, but on some Sense 3.0 ROMS , it would sound bubbly almost underwater.I have found the same thing with the Sensation.
So maybe it does have something to do with Sense 3.0.
I have the same problem. When using my bluetooth speakerphone in the car, the other caller complains of echos and bad background noise. I have no problems when I use it with my Vibrant. This sucks.
I have the same issue with my carkit. Lots of complaints from receivers:
Bluetooth carkit quality
I've been having issues with BT as well. Echos as you describe on calls but also i can only connect to media upon initial pair. I have jambox, jawbone and a stereo headset that all are A2DP but only connect to phone audio when i connect to them. They will do media the when first paired. I have to keep unpairing and pairing to get media. Was like that on all 3 sensations i've had. TMO US needs an update in a bad bad way.... This is the buggiest phone i've ever had

Totally agree. May take mine back.
Sony mw600 headphones, Kenwood DDX-812 and my pc all pair fine for me.

Same issue. Jabra BT2015 (Bluetooth version 2.0) was working fine with my HD2, but with the Sensation, callers complain of excessive background noises.
Thaught it was my phone, but tried yesterday with an another Sensation in the shop & was the same. Too high noise. So I thaught it must be the headset.
I have used my IOGEAR Solar Bluetooth Car Kit with my MyTouch 3G and with my Vibrant and never had complaints from callers. My fiance won't even talk to me when I use it with my Sensation. She complains about an echoing noise and horribly loud background noises.
Bluetooth issue - no audio on carkit
My bluetooth pairs with my car kit, can answer and hangup with car kit, but no audio goes through car kit.
It did work when i first got my sensation.
I got root (temp) and deleted some "bloatware" (maybe something i shouldn't have), then I upgraded to latest software. Now i have above problem.
anyone know is upgrade may have caused problem - or do i need to replace driver???? if so anyone got the file?

bumping this for the people who might have missed this thread
I have the Jawbone Icon and while I don't have an echo incoming sounds are hallow and tinny with a bit of crackle. Sounds like crap. Although the people I speak to say I sound great. On my SGS2 people say I sound great however they say I don't sound as good.
Is anyone else receiving intermittent crackling sounds when playing music while using a headset or not. Any ideas?
Nope, everything sounds perfect to me. It could be something wrong with the headphones, headphone jack or the music app that you are using. If the problem persists, I would just use my warranty and get a new one.

Totally agree, power amp is simply the best

i am having the same crackling/pop noise issue when i tried to do BT audio streaming on my samsung galaxy s3, i have used my PC's BT 3.0 as well as the BT 2.1 Audio Receiver but they all exhibited the same problem. this seems like a problem with the BT driver, or audio profile in the phone.

Thanks, Will keep that In mind If I ever do use my headsets for the S3 also If I do experience the pop/crackle issue.
I get the same crackle from time-time with the standard music player. I also use MOG, and have never experienced it there.
I just got an S3 32gb for VZW. Almost freaked out it crackled horribly when going into screen save mode. It did this with the same mp3's Ive had for years on numerous devices & with the speaker, wired/bluetooth headsets. Tried all the power settings etc no help. Poweramp fixed it! Thank you
My friend had the same issue so he just used a different music player and the cracking noise is gone.
Hey guys! A few days ago my pebble arrived. After pairing my pebble to my phone I noticed a noticeable drop in Bluetooth audio quality.
This has to be a problem that's addressed. I don't know if it's a android problem or just the device specific but what I found out is that this occurs on the LG G4 as well. Seems happen when your phone is paired with a Bluetooth LE device while also paired to a Bluetooth Audio device.
Anyone else experiencing this?
I've got a Pebble as well and haven't experienced anything like that. I've had the phone and the watch together since about a week after the phone's launch. What sort of audio device and what audio app are you using? Also, what apps do you have on your Pebble and what Pebble-related apps are on your phone?
I have a Jaybird X2 and I'm running a bus app and tweeble. Only using the stock pebble time app on the phone.

Hmm. I have no suggestions, then. Plus, I only have the original Pebble, not a Pebble Time, so I can't speak to any differences.
