a non cooked kaiser rom like the official one having the latest build?
i dont want any extra applications like manilla etc. only an official non branded oem wwe rom with the latest build.
is that possible?
OK, because this thread is going to be closed very soon, here's my input:
it sounds like you just want a shipped ROM, which you can download here:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Kaiser_ROMs
Other than that, you could try a LITE ROM on this site
good luck
thanks, i know the wiki i always visit there twice a day to choose and read the threads. i have already the rom 3.28.405.0 1.65.16.25 there.
i see in the rom development page, new build roms but they are all cooked ones.
i use my phone in Turkey, so i choose the original HTC and WWE roms. will there be a problem if I choose a rom with network and for another country for example the t-mobile and NL one?
whatever thanks...

Does anybody know (have the O2 german rom) where i can download the german (O2) rom for the Xda Neo.
Thanks in advance.

Would be interested as well
I've a new O2 with german rom, I'm searching abot OS ENG ROM or I prefer the ITALIAN rom.
Before I delete my GER rom, If you want I can dump this for you. Do you have a O2 ENG or (the best) ITA rom (Qtek or i-mate)?.

I've finally got mine backed up before i flashing it with i-jaming newest rom. But it is backed as dump. .. and as far as i know, to reflash it back later (i.e. if you/have want to), it has to be a .nba format. but i do not know how to convert it to that format.
If anybody knows how please let me know and i'll post the finished product here.
Thanks
Peace
ummm ... i would kindly appreciate if someone could backup its current ROM and upload it to xda ftp.
What ROM, OS, RADIO version is this? Currently i have the Qtek German ROM (see signature). Is the EXT ROM also available?
Regards,
Falk
I am also very interested in flashing mine to an english rom (qtek, etc), but I do also want the option of going back to the GErman Rom if need be...but, i have not seen the original German (Neo) rom posted. Does anyone know where this can be found? The O2 site has nothing....
thanks...
folks, the german (or whatever languaged roms) mostly pop up as soon as the carrier (o2, tmobile, orange, ...) or oem (qtek, imate) have a update rom available, so it is usually no problem to install your prefered rom now and then go back to the original as soon as you want to sell the device. also if you think that switching the rom may harm your warranty:
1) it's always possible to f*ck up the rom version you have on your device in case of a hardware issue (simply start any update and the unplug the usb), so your beloved device becomes a paperweight and noone can say what rom you've used; 2) would changing the os on your desktop pc harm any warranty? no. so there you go whenever someone asks.
you don't need to change the cid of your device, there's a modified upgrade_utility, so you can always go back to the original state of rom as soon as your carrier releases one.
go update now ...
cheers, lutz
aaaaaand by the way: the xda neo (prophet) german rom from o2 is now available officially here: http://www.o2-online.de/o2/kunden/technikundeinst/exclusive/xda/xdaneo/index.html?nidx=1 go get it and be happy

Thanx man.
I searched for any dutch Wm6 Rom but can't find it, maybe there isn't any?
Or are there translations for TNT?
If not, I have to go back to WM5
btw, if I update my Vario with a official T-Mobile rom from their site*, is it still possible (when I don't like the ROM for example) to go back to TNT or something?
*: i only see updates on the Dutch website, where can I find the whole, full dutch ROMs?
yes, i'm a n00b, i know
use the search, there are some translated ROMS over here

If you have a G3 phone, once SIM/CID unlocked remains unlocked forever, unless you personally don't lock it again.
YUP! you can flash any Rom which you wish, regardless being official T-Mobile or any other Rom,it won't effect any Cid locking/unlocking status.
Cheers!
thanx!!! Do I always have to go back to 2.26 to load antoher ROM or can I just install a new rom whenever i want?

Why not simply use an English rom?? Dutch translations in Windows Mobile are lame anyway.

ok,let me just give a little explanation as to why t-mobile 2.26 is recommended always to flash before any upgrade. As with passage of time and usuage, the present custom build roms and the extended rom gets corrupted due to installing/deleting certain applications and programs and when upgrading or flashing a new rom, might get problems and hang ups,so its advisable and recommended to have a solid/clean base and stable extended rom.T-mobile is considered and proved to be the most solid/stable official rom and with solid base is always recommended to be flashed before any upgrade or new rom flash. Its always beneficial to start with a solid/clean and stable base.Well, you can even flash your own official carrier's rom for that purpose also but it shud be with ipl/spl 2.xx (Aku 2.xx),if your official carrier is other then T-mobile,ok
Cheers!

Ok - I've looked through a bunch of threads. I just want to put WM 6.1 as you get it from HTC on my Tilt.
I live in the US so I don't have access to it.
All the ROMs I see in the threads below are all customized, etc... I just want the standard WM 6.1 ROM. Where can I get instructions on how to do this?
you can dl it from:
http://member.htc.com/downloadfiles....0_radio_sign_25.83.40.02_1.65.16.25_Ship.zip
sorry, the link doesnt work... needs ID and password....
you can find it in kaiser wiki: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=369282
you will need to unlock the CID in order to flash the HTC branded ROM

or you can wait a few days and nothrills will be releasing a wm6.1 rom. All his roms are pure htc roms except for performance tweaks everything else is as it would come from htc themself.
Really????? I didnt know that... A good news for me.. haha
Meanwhile you can try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=399150.
I like it... almost comparable to shogunmark's rom. You can read through the thread.. only 2 pages... maybe because of new chef, not many want to try.
I'm glad that i try... stick with it now...

You can look at my lite rom. It contains only files from MS and HTC device drivers. All custom applications have been removed. I also included the ROM Folders so you can customize it!

3.28.405.0 (Radio 1.65.16.25) original HTC WWE (World Wide English)
Look for the ROM titled 3.28.405.0 (Radio 1.65.16.25) original HTC WWE (World Wide English) in the Wiki or check this thread for mirrors...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=393535
This is the HTC 6.1 world wide english (WWE) release. If using a Tilt you will want to install the latest Jockey 3.28 hardspl first. You will also need an ATT Keyboard fix cab file (see the thread) and will need to uncheck the proxy in Settings/Connections/Connections/Proxy Settings after at&t network settings are auto-configured.
You could also try the latest at&t 6.1 (almost OFFICIAL) test ROM titled ATT 19213 build with 1.65.20.29 radio. See this thread for mirrors and more...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=391708
I am using both with good results. Both are full 6.1 ROMs, are stable and contain all HTC improvements for video and general performance.
Both are very similar at their core. The at&t ROM is bloated with at&t specific features and additional junk. You can eliminate much of this from your user interface but will lose storage space.
I am running a nearly identical set of apps on both with good results.
EDIT: a newer at&t test version is now available at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400276
I can see that most of the advanced chefs are cooking diamond based roms for kaiser and pure kaiser ROMs is undergoing not much change ( May be the CHEFs want more challenge ;-) ). I would personally love to see a very stable and very fast Kaiser based rom. DIamond ROM in kaiser , not doubt slows the performance....

Fast and stable IMHO.
Hi Guys..
I have a Verizon non modded phone. I would like to upgrade WM 6.1 --> 6.5 and was wondering how to go about doing this..
The EURO HTC site has a WM 6.5 download...would that work? I head Verizon does not have a 6.5 download yet so that is why I am asking.
Your help is very much appreciated!
I think you can't download Rom from official site, you must type you IMEI and than download ROM but as I know US phones are not supported. But you can download cooked Rom from this forum. They are even beter than orginal ones.
So if I can't download from the official site and need to download a cooked rom...which one would be best and how would these cooked roms differ from the official?
The Euro site is showing the gsm ROM. It will not work with verizon. Try a cooked ROM for cdma(verizon). If you don't end up liking it try another or swap back to the oem verizon ROM. Possibilities aplenty.

Slimmer, faster, better battery, no fluff or trialware!
I have a crappy Orange ROM... very slow... makes Energy ROM on top lag.does not work at all actually... where to get a page with the latest Europe working ROMs? to download.
What Base official ROM do you use?
Which one is the best/ with Energy on top in Europe?
You can find all the original roms at Shipped ROMs, or you cand download the latest rom directly from htc website.
My old Touch Pro is running Timolol's stock-like WM6.5.5 ROM with radio 1.14.25.35, the radio that cames with the latest original ROM has a verry long GPS fix and lag.

When you flash another ROM, like the Energy ROM, it completely replaces the old ROM. So the Energy ROM is not running on top of your old ROM. If the Energy ROM is too slow for you, maybe you should try another ROM.
I haven't tried it, but the one ionut.micu recommended looks pretty good. I actually might try it soon.
Hi Ionut,
I have followed the link for the shipped ROMs and I found this one: RUU_Raphael_HTC_WWE_5.05.405.1_R2_Radio_Signed_Raphael_52.58.25.30_1.11.25.01_Ship.exe
I am trying to upgrade my shipped ROM with WM6.1 to one having WM6.5. From the site I could not tell if this ROM has WM6.5, do you have any ideea?
Thanks
