ROM with a dailer that allows me to edit the number - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Windows Mobile ROM De

Dear members,
I have a kaiser with dutty's WM6.1 which I totally love, however, I am looking for a rom that allows me to edit a dialed number. Say I dial 0815361 , I am looking for a rom that would allow me to simply backspace the 0 and add 016 to dial 016815361.
Simple but driving me nuts. I am visiting a country that requires me to add a prefix to international calls. I just wanna be able to do this without editing every record in my phone book

I don't know if this would be a function of the ROM or the dialer installed, but certainly this would be a good feature, a rather obvious feature, since most cellphones have this capability.

I have never seen any dialer that let you edit numbers in the middle of a string, on any phone. Have you? I'd be interested to know.

Need to edit the number before I dial on O2 mini

Hi all,
I need to travel around for business trips and I will need to add IDD code and area code in front of the phone number before I dial when I travel. I found that it is very inconvenient to use O2 mini, as I cannot edit the number before I dial. Anyone knows if I can change the setting and could amend the phone on the dialer? Or I will be grateful if there is a dialer programme to replace the default one on O2 mini. Thanks
Hi.
Sorry I dont know of any proggi that will do this for you, but if i where you I would just start writing in those +XX numbers in front of every number in your contacts, and make it a habbit to do so every time you create a new contact!
Maybee some else knows of a proggi to do this for you
Thanks for your input. I am very delighted to found Bong's Workship Prefix Dial which could solve my problem well and it is free.

I could suggest any software, if you could briefly describe what is tue utility of "IDD prefixes" ...
There are many International call service providers in Hong Kong while their call rates are different. Normally, u just add "+" plus the country and city code behind the phone number in your contact for international calls. However, i may add "009" or "1666" or "1718" instead of the "+" sign. i find that cannot work in smartphone coz recently the Phoneplus for PPC phone can make that function.
e.g.
Normal case: + 86 10 8222 8234
i want: 009 86 10 8222 8234 or sometimes 1718 86 10 8222 8234
Any suggestion?
Thanks in advance.
Me also tried to search this kind of software for a long time, but nothing of them seems to work on WM6 at the moment, can anyone please help?
I am using Mobiion MagiCall - very powerful and useful

Edit Number before Calling

Hello TC Users,
I often need to add a prefix to the number i dial. With the standard dial pad is not possible, i always need to edit the contact itself, or memorize the number and dial it completely.
Is there any way to edit a contact number before call?
Thanks for the support.
somthing v importent, i also need that.
You guys should give Mobiion's MagiCall a try. Very nice app!

It's sad. When I did a search on edit and dial, I came up with a lot of request for this feature but seems there isn't any such utility available. Strange because it is pretty obvious it is a useful tool for many. I've tried Mobiion's MagiCall but it's way too complicated and the documentation does not give you any example on how to set up for this.
Fully agree

Speed/Fast dial doesn't work with key 5.

Hi,
I have assigned speed dial codes to a bunch of mobile numbers. Starting from 2-9. If I press and hold key 5, it doesn't call the number it is assigned to. All other numbers works. All numbers are US numbers with the format 1(xxx) xxx-xxxx, calling them directly via contacts works fine.
Currently my device runs on Pampooh's Windows MobileĀ® 6.1 Standard CE OS 5.2.20282 Build 20282.1.3.6 (English Only) v1.05b ROM.
I had the same issue even when I was running earlier version of WM6.1 ROM by Erofich.
I remember that it used to work.
I can actually use the key 5 for all other purposes, for instance I can, dial numbers, access address book and type messages as well. So it can't be a hardware issue. I wonder if the cooked ROM's have anything to do with it. I have to mention that I like this ROM very much though, the phone is much more usable now.
Any help would be appreciated.
I have actually posted this question on the Star Trek specific forum earlier and now posting it here. Hope that's OK.
Thanks,
JSenthil
