I-Mate Ultimate 9502 for sale - Brand New - General Topics

Hey guys,
Following my success selling stuff on here before I thought I'd try my 9502. Basically, my 9502 was faulty so I-Mate have sent me a brand new one, boxed with all acessories and unlocked to any network. I haven't even opened it yet.
I really want a Touch Pro so I'm going to sell this as brand new (or would accept a trade).
It still retails at about £440 so I would accept about £390 or reasonable offers.
I'm sure most of you will know the specs, but here they are in a nutshell:
- Platform Microsoft® Windows Mobile® 6.0 Professional (upgradabe to WM6.1)
- Processor/ Chipset • 400 MHz Qualcomm® MSM 7200™
- Memory 256 MB ROM 128 MB RAM
- 2.8” VGA (640×480) Touch-screen
- GSM / GPRS / EDGE/HSDPA/HSUPA
- Quad-band 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
- 3.0 Megapixel auto-focus camera with LED Compensation light and VGA camera for Video Calls
- WiFi 802.11 b/g
- Inbuilt GPS compatible with Tomtom etc.
- Full qwerty keyboard.
-Connect to a TV or projector with the included cable.
Reply or PM me for more details/offers.

did I get ripped off ?

I bought my first phone last year and it was the Nexus S. I ended up breaking the screen to an unfixable state so when I paid the $100 deductible I was given the Samsung conquer.... The conquer was awful and it gave out only 3 months after I got it. So sprint then gave me the EVO 3D and the guy there acted as if I was getting a "double upgrade" but I'm still wishing I had my nexus. I'm a tech rookie so I was wondering if the sprint guy was right about the EVO 3D being an amazing phone .

unfortunately this is a combined thread for all note pro 12.2 it seems.. and the only roms ive noticed have been for the P900 only .. wondering if having a specific one for each of the others like att/vzw/tmo, etc would help.. not sure it would..
not savvy enough to know if it would be possible to port in a sense the p900 ones to make them work with the others like the 905 etc.
From my Fired-up Note Pro 12.2!
This is already a very market-specific device, and then you go buy the variant that is for an even smaller market, hoping there will be ROMS for a device owned by maybe 40 XDA users? Not bloody likely.

p905 has other platform than p900 (snapdragon vs exynos), so porting something between p900 and p905 is quite difficult
Are there any issues with the bootloader being locked or anything like that on the Verizon version?
Oh wow I wish it had more support had no idea they were that different... well at least I have root
Yeah back when I'd use my Verizon galaxy tab 10.1 I would be one of the beta testers for the guy that was developing the kernel for cm 10 support for the tablets in that model line (great dev named Pershoot). He would put in countless hours trying to piece together something that would support all of the variants and I would flash test ROMs over and over again to verify that all features worked. That experience taught me to avoid a US carrier branded android tablet if I wanted to tinker with roms lol. I haven't seen anyone developing like that here yet. It's an impressive commitment developers make.

Hey, we now have a debloated stock ROM and CM11 ROM, both with custom kernels!
P905 ROMS
Okay,
I'm also fed up with waiting for cyanogen to port their ROM to the P905; so I decided to give it a go myself.
I checked the hardware for the P905 and noticed that it is nearly identical to the note 10.1 lte 2014 edition, for which a ROM already exists.

I've tried downloading the ROM that is available for the sm-p605, but it can not simply be flashed on the p905 of course.
Give me some time to look at it and I'll post here as soon as I get it working.
Greets.
Here's my take on roms for the Note Pro....if you're rooted & have Xposed installed you really don't NEED to flash a rom. You can customize the stock rom the way you want for the most part. I know some developers also tweak the performance in their roms but the Note Pro is quite fast stock. What feature do you really need that can not be added with Xposed?

Not much, I guess, I just don't like Samsungs TouchWiz, for starters, I know there are different launchers out there, but I want it gone from my system.
The same goes for those who have the p900, they already have ROM's available, then why shouldn't we, p905 owners?
But thanks for the input though.

I think it's a little bit heavy and big, but it's a good phone after all if you look at the openess and repairability. I hope to reach the 525 euros (about 530 in Italy ) to buy one before september!
Awesome phone ,I want to buy this one
I like it !
To reacto about the price, you have to take in consideration two major things :
-It's a limited quantity of sales, last fairphone was sold 60 000 times, where flagship exceed millions of piece, thus allowing a superb price reduction on manufacturing, and making R&D price ridiculus per phone sold
-it cost money to pay people normally.......nuff said
Also, i'm wondering if the Photo sensor is good, i can see that it can provide RAW format photo (wich is pretty cool),but the camera specs are not that awsome ...1080p -30fps, but it therm of photo quality, anyone knows if it has been used on other phones ?
