Wm6 Remote desktop connection/terminal services - HTC Tornado

Where can we get RDC for WM6.1 Std?
Thanks.

How exactly do you plan on using RDC without a stylus/touchscreen?

Try zaDesktop, zaTelnet or RDM+ (firs one works fine, don't know about other two)

Good FREE Telnet client program required for Exec

Anyone recomend any for WM 5.
I'm REALLY new at this stuff, but I've got PuTTY working just fine on my 02 Mini S (Wizard variant). I can connect to Telnet on my TiVo and my work's SCO Unix servers just fine.
Do a google for it, I just don't know enough yet to offer much advice

Hamachi/UltraVNC wm6 connection

Trying to remote control work pc on my mogul. I set up Hamachi VPN and UltraVNC. No problem controlling office pc from home with UltraVNC viewer but I can't get a viewer to connect to office pc from my mogul. Have tried PT Pocket Office, MochaSoft and .net VNC viewers. All say connection not a VNC server. How do I make it work?
try RealVNC,it has a freeware Windows viewer/server version and even a freeware ppc version....
The only PPC I'm seeing on their site refers to the old Macintosh CPU... can you provide a link?
Hamachi + FTP or Pocket Controller

Probably a silly question, but, I gotta ask...
Did you install the Hamachi client on your PPC?
I have finished testing the following products and all work like magic on my Tilt using Hamachi.
Tested: Remote Desktop client for PPC, SOTI Pocket Controller Pro, HFS HTTP File Server, Mocha FTP Server.
Hamachi is installed on PPC and I can IM to/from desktop.
did you use them with ultravnc or a different server? are there any settings on viewer or server i am overlooking?

I was finally able to install RealVNC and it seems to be working with both mocha and .net. I do not see a RealVNC ppc version. Do you have a link?
Pt pocket office and second life.
I am just playing second life and have found a cool demo of someone playing SL through his smartphone with pocket office.
Anyone got any experience with this application and its speed?
The video was pretty impressive, it was very fast and responsive.
It looked to good to be true

Mr. Google has some great links...
Try this one for example: http://home.utah.edu/~mcm5849/wince/vnc.html

I looked at that viewer and many others in my initial attempt to to find a ppc viewer to work with UltraVNC. As RealVNC has a free pc viewer/server version, I read your initial post

to mean that RealVNC also had a PPC version which I could not find at http://www.realvnc.com. Anyway, thanks for the point to RealVNC. The remote desktop works great.
Guys... Please DO search the Wiki whenever possible!
At http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Access your desktop PC from your Pocket PC! , I've really thoroughly compared the different VNC clients and servers. It's an absolute must.
In a nutshell, you'll most probably want to use PT Pocket Office.

How do you sync WM6 with Linux?

Does anyone here know how to sync WM6 phones with Linux? However I don't use KDE or Gnome (if it doesn't rely heavily on gnome it might be possible).... so please don't tell me to get associated packages.
If it helps, I'm using Xfce on Gentoo.

[REQUEST] LogMeIn Ignition App

I have a Brand New HTC HD2 coming tomorrow, my first smart phone...
and using a multitude of PC's at work i use LMI ignition a lot in my day to day business, and i was horrified to find out that LogMeIn have not made an app supported by WinMo 6.5, as they have for the iphone, I'm not sure if this is in the right place but does anybody here have any ideas, or even an app that would allow me to do this?
Teshi...
Bump- any ideas any body?
Simply go to LogMeIn page in HD2 browser (it works best with IE).
Used and it works.

I am aware it can be done via a browser but it would be so much easier with an app like Ignition on the Iphone.
Any ideas if there’s anything in the lime light?
I want this too

Logmein HAMACHI
Hi guys,
You can use Logmein Hamachi Network.
Go to Logmein, create an account and create a network with Hamachi.
Install Hamachi on computer do you want to connect remote, like home and work computers.
Hamachi is a VPN Network software you can use Remote Desktop Mobile to access yours computers in Hamachi Network.
There is a client for logmein Hamachi that works on HD2. Join to your Hamachi Network and use a IP Address of your computer on RDP Mobile.
short story is that there is no ignition app and no easy way to do it like on the iphone. not enough bandwagoners support winmo (hopefully 7 changes all that)
I disagree.
The solution with Logmein Hamachi is excelent. Remote Desktop Mobile make a great job and Logmein Hamachi can connect 16 computer anywhere for free.
Try and let me know your opinion.

[REQ] VNC Viewer for my HD2

I have a small problem. I use a netbook (Asus Eee PC 1005HA-H, Atom N280) for my computering. However sometimes I need to have acces to a PC while I'm on the go. I know there is a Remote Desktop program in my HD2, but here's the problem: I use Windows XP Home edition. Which does not have an RDP server in it. There is no way I can use Remote desktop for my laptop sadly.
I do have good experiences with VNC applications such as RealVNC.
So logically, I am now looking for a good, finger-friendly app for my HD2. I am using Google to find more information, but all I seem to find is applications that are from 2005 and VGA, or offers for Viagra.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Finally, after days of searching a mate send me this link via Twitter.
http://www.jamlent.com/2009/11/remote-control-your-pc-with-vnc/
Maybe this will help somebody else. If it isn't going to work I will let it now here.
Any news yet?
Link for the CAB is in that post...
I am currently using the .NET VNC Viewer on my HD2:
http://dotnetvnc.sourceforge.net/
It works. Not the fingerfriendliest App I've seen so far, but.. it's okay for me.
