This works fine on my Touch Pro. I use the powerpoint gadget for presentations. It lets you see which slide is next and uses the phone as a remote to nevigate the show.

Check This out, this is pretty cool,
Got a Vista laptop and a Windows Mobile Smartphone? If so, then you already have a way to control PowerPoint with your phone – all you need is some SideShow software. To get started, you must first pair your phone with your laptop via Bluetooth (if you haven’t already done so), then download SideShow for Mobile. SideShow for Mobile is an application for Windows Mobile smartphones (versions 5 and 6) and PocketPCs that let you use your phone as a Bluetooth SideShow device. The final step is to download the Office PowerPoint Remote gadget. With this gadget installed, you can control PowerPoint with your phone - no remote required! You can move forward and back, jump to a specific slide in the presentation, preview the next slide, and view the slide speaker notes on your device. It will even work right from the Today screen so you can just use the hardware buttons on the phone to control the presentation. Nice!

Hello,
I am searching a program for my raphael or any windows mobile based phone. I have to use it to control the mediaplayer on my notebook. I know sony ericsson has something like that built/in, but I need it for windows mobile.
Thanks!!!
I think it is rather related to your notebook software...
Last time i did this i just paired handheld (some older Nokia iirc) with Bluetooth in PC. Then i installed some software on PC and voila - i could even move mouse pointer using phone.
Start by pairing your WM device with laptop. Then search for some program for notebook to use BT signal to control mouse/imitate key presses. And you are good to go.

If you have Windows Vista on the computer, you can control powerpoint via BT using SideShow (http://gallery.live.com/liveItemDetail.aspx?li=fe99f5dc-e62d-46e0-a294-1ec3aa4960c4&bt=8&pl=7).
I am using a XP Pro so Office PowerPoint Remote cannot be installed. Any similar appli for XP?
I tried to setup the Presentation Companion which is a part of Windows Mobile PowerPoint 2010.
1. Loaded Presentation Companion on my HTC Touch Pro 2 (Tilt 2) running the Windows 6.5.3 EnergyRom (Leo)
2. Connected my HTC Touch Pro 2 via Bluetooth to my latop (running Windows 7)
3. Copied the powerpoint to my storage card
4. Opened the PowerPoint on my TouchPro 2
5. Downloaded and install the Presentation Compnanion Addin
6. Launched PowerPoint on laptop and opened the same powerpoint file
7. Went to addins on the laptop started the Presentation Companion
8. Back on the Touch Pro 2 within Mobile PowerPoint I clicked Menu and "Presentation Companion"
It states that "Can't Connect. There's no Bluetooth Adatper..."
Anyone run into this problem? Anyone get this to work?
I am trying to run it on HD2. Same issue. It says "Cannot find the adapter" while HD2 and PC are connected via bluetooth.
There are 2 "Gotchas" to be aware of.
1. The Presentation Companion beta software does not work on 64bit versions of PowerPoint.
2. The mobile side of the Presentation Companion does not work with non-standard Bluetooth software implementations on Windows Phones such as the HTC Touch Pro2 or HD2.
I did have my windows mobile phone, HTC Touch HD, connect to a Windows XP desktop several years ago.
Is it possible to have my Android phone connect to a Windows PC with Remote Desktop Connection?
Thanks.
Microsoft has a remote desktop app. I've used it successfully before, though that was when I was using a Note 3. I expect it'd be much more cumbersome w/o a stylus.
