Mhmhm, I don't understand your question, install the latest opera overwriting the opera exes in the windows folder
The latest build it's way newer than the 1718 that you are trying to install!

Actually the build numbers for 9.50 have gone really high. But I don't believe there are all that many builds out there for the 9.51 Beta, the build available for download from opera hasn't changed since July. Not 100% on the leaked builds that are avilable but it looks like most of them are high build number 9.5 versions

Hello all,
The 1st ROM I used had a version of Opera Mobile I liked, but some other features and bugs that made want to change, but I don't know what the version was. This version let you specify the percentage of zoom you want to apply, instead of just zoom in or out.
Can anyone help ID'ing this?
Thanks in advance.
It would help if you told us which ROM it was. If it was the stock Cruise ROM it's probably Opera Mobile 8.65 and that has different percentage zoom options.
RUU_Polaris_HTC_WWE_1.25.405.1_radio_sign_25.65.30.04_1.58.21.23_Ship
This is the full name of the ROM I was using.
Still haven't checked that version of Opera, will check it asap.
It may have possibly been this:
if not I am sure I have the version you are looking for
I was having some issues with the "already installed" version in bepe's 0.67 ROM. Even installing the latest 9.5 Beta.
I just tried 9.5 Beta, but the complete version, and with udK's ROM and it has Zoom In and Zoom Out to achieve the zoom we intend, but if we change page, it comes back to original zoom, which sucks.
I'll try to uninstall this version and try that one out.
Thanks.
Well, can't uninstall the other version. Will google for a solution

Ok i got my touch pro 2 from us cellular today and i have a couple of questions maybe someone could answer first does this version come with the equipment to do fm radio? Is there a flash player available i want to play the flash games on facebook and use flash on other web sites?Do i need to install opera or skyfire to do this? WHICH BROWSER IS BETTER? Thanks in advance!!!!!
flash
Download Skyfire browser for the best flash on the web... for now... Flash 10 for WinMo should be out early next year.
Nate
There's also the a flash fix for Opera. Works OK (a little jittery loading flash heavy pages, but it works). Skyfire IMO is better (and a really nice WVGA version is in the works).

Have a look on my sig thread
you´ll find opera with flash working
ok i guess i should have asked i want to be able to play facebook flash games
ok so my lovely new opera browser supports flash plugin but i can't find one anywhere !???
need that too..several days ago i saw a post with some plugins + opera beto 3 but when installed it messed up everything. page on manila was not working. so its not the solution.
need to some plugin only cabs orwhetever...
Bump bump !
you see.. Opera Mobile 10 beta 3 supports flash, BUT only if the device comes with flash preinstalled. on our HD2 there IS flash light preinstalled, so for me f.ex. youtube is working perfectly. But i can imagine that there are custom ROMs, where the flash light isn't preinstalled. If this is your case you should first install flash light, then opera mobile 10 beta 3 so it can use the flash plugin.
go to settings -> advanced and enable plug-ins in opera mobile 10 beta 3, after that flash works (although it's still somewhat beta, so don't expect too much).
If the plugin doesn't come preinstalled on your device, use this cab:

Some report FixOperaFlash app also helps.
On stock and stock-like ROMs everything works out-of-the-box.

FixOperaFlash only works for *some* opera mobile 9.5 and 9.7 builds. Not for opera mobile 10 beta 3.

It officially supports app2sd, so without any extra modification it becomes 1.79MB which is not too bad.
What is the difference between firefox and firefox beta
What is the difference between firefox and firefox beta
Memory still an issue after Apps2SD
Once you port over the bookmarks from PC (or Mac?) Version of Firefox, the internal memory decreases dramatically. Should not bookmarks be stored on SD, and less than 10 Megs (yes, I have a lot of bookmarks on Windows Firefox, but still ... A bookmark is only a few kb)? Of course, Arm 6 Firefox is still beta, so things may improve. I did find many appealing factors in it, like being able to bring up official Pixiv app when clicking on an image at the Pixiv (Japanese art site) website. Nifty!
Beta is for latest builds ... regular is for stable version
I checked Google Play, and low and behold, there is a regular Arm 6 version as well as a beta! The beta is of course for experimental use, so not everything may work as intended. Of course, this goes without saying for stable releases too, as there are so many Android based phones and tablets.
