If you mean you are trying to use the net from your phone to allow your computer to connect to the net then Try using pdanet to connect to the net, as your carrier might be disabling using the shared internet connection.

I'm using WiFi Tethering from my phone to my Laptop.
At the laptop the only thing i do is Remote Desktop to another computer, using a static IP from the noip.me site.
the connection loosing internet connectivity after a while, again and again.
cant figure out what the reason for it.
