Are HTC Touch Pro and SE Xperia X1 Same. - Touch Pro, Fuze General

hey guys
i m having very basic question that both of these devices are same. means os wise?
i know there is little difference in hardware.
and one more thing XDA Develpoers will help SE Xperia users too or they will have to find their different way.

No, totally different devices. Just do a google search on both and you can compare the two.

wow very quick reply
thanks bro.
my ultimate question is that i will b getting any help next week bout flashing ROM of Xperia on XDA developers or not.

however htc are making the xperia for sony, so yes it will be supported by this forum.

A forums has already been made for the SE X1.

If you have not noticed this is an HTC forum, I don´t think Mods & Devs will add a Samsung device.
Anyway good luck
how come a sony experia is allowed then if this is a pure htc forum??

As far as I know Experia is build by HTC, that´s because it´s here
I´m sure someone with more knowledge can explain better, but sure is that no Samsung forum will be aded here
theres one in my signature.

I think that is better to question about SE in the area of SE, the DEVs here are concerned in build and release ICS for Defy and no answer about others devices. I'm sorry but this is sincerity.
You should ask this in the Sony Experia section moreover if you want to post his here, post it in the defy Q/A section not the defy development thread?.
Seriously man think before posting. Follow some rules!
I think he was asking weather he can use Live View with motorola Defy... yes it shoudn't be in dev section, but if this is the case then Motorola General thread shuld be ok

Please help?

Oke i need to get new mobile in 2 days so i need ur help with chosing
Xperia U
Xperia mini pro
HTC DESIRE C
Pls answer fast curently i like xperia u most but need help of pro thx in advance
P.S can anyone give pros and cons for phones i am sry guys but whn i get it i am stuck 2 years with it so plss help me chose right ^^
Depends on what you want.
The fastest phone with most memory is the Xperia U, but it doesn't seem to be very popular on xda, so probably fewer roms etc
I guess the HTC and xperia mini have somewhat the same specs. However the xperia is too small in my opinion. They both are pretty popular on xda.
I would get the Xperia U, but that's just my opinion

Flashing a custom ROM does not void your warranty.

Thanks for your help but doesn't look like there's much info on there either, I don't understand why there's no support for the Xperia Miro on XDA?
It's a new device, be patient.
U can try this method for rooting, it works on allmost all xperia ICS devices:

I understand that the device is new but it's been out over a month. I found it relatively easy to root the device but it's more about there being no development for it. It's a cheap handset that a lot of people would go for so I would of thought there would be custom ROMs and development for it by now?

I think u should make a new thread in Xperia S, P, U, Sola, Go section, maybe someone has xperia miro. Don't wait for something to happen, be a initiator for new things!
Cheers.

You can find pretty much anything using a bit of gumption and a search engine.
