hey all, i just got my new touchpro.
it's my first HTC and its so awesome.
a little help..how do i check the rom? on the splash screen it says 1.9 ad loads of zeros. that the verison correct?
how do i upgrade it and where do i find it?

During boot you can see the firmware version
if a new version is available you can find it on the htc website
you can also check in the settings/system/device
i have ROM 1.90.404.1 NLD of 8/1/8
mine says 1.90.401.1 wwe
checked htc website but on the uk the Touch is not even listed
any advise
You have the latest version.
The Touch Pro is not up on HTC's uk site yet, but it is on the main europe site.

A software download tab will appear when there is an update. Its early days for an update - its only 1 week old!

Hi UK Tytn II users....
I upgraded my TYTN-II from HTC Original RUU WM 6.1 released last month... But after using couple of days i realised that its not stable... So i tried insatlling 21-2-08 RUU... But when i tried to download RUU from HTC... it always takes me to the Middle EAST RUU download...
Though i bought my TYTN-II from UK in OCT but presently i am in Pakistan; so it looks like that because of my current geographical location HTC only allow me to download the ME RUU's... and the ME RUU always keeps telling me that " THIS UPGRADE IS NOT FOR YOUR DEEVICE " ERROR # 924
If anyone from UK just log in to HTC and then provide me the download link of the RUU .... That would solve my problem...

The phone works grat with the italian vodafone but I can't find skype in the Android Maket.

How do I get (WM6.5) for T-Mobile.?
most likely this update s gonna come from tmobile itself not htc. so its the waiting game pretty much, i got the same phone.

As stated above, all official upgrades for branded phones come from the carrier, not HTC, It is up to T-Mobile to decide when or even if they are going to offer a 6.5 upgrade for their phones.
In the meantime go to the Rhodium section and learn how to unlock and flash you phone, then you will be able to upgrade your pone with any official or cooked rom you want.

i have some bugs anyway and read on the official htc site about a new rom
O2 didnt release a new rom so i want to flash the original htc rom
but....
nothing seems to work, i tried different hardspl`s and none of them works.

HTC Touch Pro2 (T7373): Does anybody have a valid Singapore serial number for this model that they could share with me? I live in Taiwan and bought this phone here last year. As only Traditional Chinese (CHT) language version is available in this market, the HTC retailer here installed the Worldwide English (WWE) language version of WM6.1 which I believe came from Singapore.
Now I am trying to upgrade to the latest WM6.5 (ROM version: 2.07.707.1), but still again, only the CHT version is available to download from the HTC Taiwan website. Therefore, I need a valid Singapore serial number for this phone model in order to download the WWE version from the HTC Singapore website.
Have already tried the serial number HT961L100031 that was previously posted on this site (06OCT09 – Active Stock HTC ROM serials) but it doesn’t work. Any help will be most appreciated!
You can always try a cooked ROM from XDA, that on my opinion are much better than any "offical" ROM.
You won´t need any serial and you can flash a WWE ROM.
