id like to update from wm5 to wm6..can somebody help me out on this one?

MDA Compact ROM Upgrade

I see there is an Upgrade for the ROM/OS for the Magician which I understand should solve my SDIO Wifi card lockups ( Bios Upgrade needed) I see by the Post (UPDATE 2 - Fixes) Rom Wwe 2.03 For Htc Magician (jam) that it looks very straightforward. As I am very attached to this MDA Compact I cant afford for it to go down . Can u advise whether I can use the above 'Upgrade' with the MDA Compact which I understand is the same phone as the Magician?

oi mate it does work i tryed it on my mda
but i dont know about thw wifi thing i havent tryed that

it works..
i am using it on my o2 mini, sandisk wlan card..802.11+256 mb storage..it works good..drivers are on sandisk website...

Thanks for feedback on this matter. Whats the info about BIG Storage? Is there improved memory available on this upgrade? Anyone had any bugs or problems since the Upgrade? Certain comments have been about a 'Hard Reset' before adding the extra updates? Any tips on a successful Upgrade? Probably gonna have a stiff Brandy before carrying it out!

i have htc magician and i tried to instal windows 6 but when i want to enter in bootloader the screen goes black ,he disconnects and its showing Serial/Usb V1.00 ... what should i do?i have windows mobile 2003... and I really want to have w6 help please

I just want to learn how to upgrade my WM5 to WM6 on my Dell Axim X51V, could someone please point me in the right direction ?

Cotullas WWE on Magician I (MDA compact)??

Hello together ,
i don´t want to kill my mda compact (magician I), but i´m very interested in updating my little friend on WM6.1...for that reason i wanted to ask you if you can please tell me if it is possible to use cotullas HTCMAG_ROM_WWE on this device (i have read something about the xda mini II, just want to know if i can also use it on the mini I).
If this is possible, which Version do i have to install? (WWE 01, 02, 03)...which Addons are important (e.g. searcher12´s Service Pack for cotulla ROM)?

EDIT: I´m using TomTom Navigator 6 on my 2003SE...i´ve read something about problems with GPS connectivity, has this been fixed meanwhile?

check your original radio version,if it's already 1.12,you can upgrade WWE_O3,if not,you must download WWE_O1 and WWE_O3,and then copy "radio_.nbf" from WWE_O1 to WWE_O3.

Old Dell Axim x51 how to instal orginal win mo?

Hi Guys. I have little problem with my dell axim x51 . I have windows mobile 6.5 (lennysh modification) , but my cf slot dont work , lennysh dont have fix on it so , i want to install official windows mobile. Wiki says that i can instal on my dell x51 windows mobile 6.5 , but i cant find link to the official page with dell upgrader. I do not know any others win mobile 6.x on dell x51 with working cf slot. Please help me. Thanx.

You can still downgrade your axim X51 to the latest official WM5 version 'A12' from Dell's support site here if you really need CF access. This will require you to use the USB connection to the PC. Unfortunately there is no official WM6 or WM6.5 available for the X51 from Dell.
Sorry, Wikipedia refers to lennysh's custom ROM, which is still pretty unstable as you probably know by now
Note that that link is *only* for axim X51, not for the X51v model.
