BTW: there is no Radio included in this *.nbh!

"when I receive a sms and i am still in the inbox, in the home screen the vox indicates me like I still have to read the sms (new sms) while I have already read it because i was in the inbox chatting when I received it! can you correct this? thanks"

Got installed last night. I think, in the first instance, the performance of this ROM is really better than any of the previous ROMs, especially in terms of RAM consumption. Yet to explore more abt the same. Will give more feedback after that...

I don't have the black bar problem this time! I wonder how you people get it. In fact, I had straightaway switched to another background, without sliding panel. May be thats why I didn't realize.

Hey, I changed my homescreen back to Sliding Panel. I too have whatever you have mentioned on my homescreen, but I am not getting the black bar.
Anyway, there is a work around, if you are still facing the problem, which is as follows:
You will have to edit the following two files in windows folder:
CHome_240x320.cpr
CHome_320x240.cpr
Copy the same to your pc and open with notepad. The files are ReadOnly. So just remove the ReadOnly attributes for these files.
For CHome_240x320.cpr file,
Change the "Height" property for Image element to 313 (in Line no. 2)
Similary, for CHome_320x240.cpr file,
Change the "Height" property for Image element to 233 (in Line no. 2)
Save the files and copy back to the windows folder using Resco or Total Commander. And Soft-reset. You are done.

Oh, please don't tease me with Treo's BATTERY METER!!! I want it on my Wizard! Does anyone know about something in that style? (please, don't tell me "use AKU2's default", guys...).
BTW.... question to Mr Vijay. I saw a pretty nice one on the screenshots on your website - (let me check...) - at VJCandela and VJBigPhone screenshots. What is that battery meter?

Hi ViJay,
that seems to be the same thing posted long time ago in one of the Treo ripping threads. I've tried it that time, and it didn't work on my Wizard. The issues are following:
- it COMPLETELY overrides the volume control - not just the icon, but the slider as well. Moving the volume slider up or down causes the battery status notif to pop up. So, no way to control the volume anymore.
- it only shows battery charge at the moment of launch, and it doesn't change. I've launched it at 95%, now I have 90%, but the thing is still showing me 95%.
- after pluging the charger in, it changes the icon to "charging", but never changes it back.
Maybe I did something wrong? I've just unpacked the archive in a folder and launched the .exe.
And - question. What are those .bmp's for? Definitely not for Treo battery meter - they rather look like GS Battery meter (which doesn't work on WM5). And - I'm gonna try Small Menu

I don't know what the stuff is for, I just ripped out everything that said battery. As you said, it's not worth using, as it covers the volume icon. The one in the TyTN threads is much better anyway!

I've tried SmallMenu... That's exactly what I was loking for! Great thanks! I didn't really like the menu feature itself, but the battery meter is cool! Actually, I prefer the Treo battery icon style, so I made my own icon set - based on Treo screenshots. Hopefully, they are not copyrighted 8) First icon is not done - can't figure out what is it for. Check this out:
P.S. just Photoshopped it real quick... The lightning symbols on charging icons are messed up - will fix that later.

except for the threaded sms, that's new to the 750
There are a few goodies that the 750v has over the 700. One being the much desired threaded sms app, and also the much improved bluetooth stack that supports a2dp and voice dialing.

I managed to get this to work on Faria's latest AKU 3.2 ROM which I installed today. I was playing with the registry and simply copied a key and changed a dll mapping, soft reset and presto!
The key that was copied was from the WebSearchPlugin found in this forum:

Attached are a screenshot and a zip zrchive containing the registry settings that can be imported using your favorite registry editor.
NOTE: 1) that you must use your sliding keyboard..duh. and 2) the icons above and to the right of the input box.
Forgot to mention that this was done on my Wizard.
That's quite a big step!
Just imported the plugin on the Faria RC1 ROM. After the import I soft reset my device. First time I recieved an Shell error, by pressing "Ok", my Wizard restarted. Now it works fine
The wireless plugin showing the BT and Wireless doensn't work: "Error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename".
I think the plugin is quite useless for Wizard users. Now you have to slide open your keyboard to search and dial a contact. When dialing you have to close the device again.
Like the Wireless part though

Recieved the same message for the second time: "An unhandled error has occured in the shell. Attempting to restart the shell.".
Will restore a backup and let this plugin be for the moment

I've been using this as a personal Rom for some time but I thought I would share. And it's nice seeing there has been a lot of different cooked rom around here now, there is something for everyone !
Nothing really new here except my custom theme and the photo panel that now displays images from the storage car stored in My Documents\My pictures (where the pictures are saved by the camera). I found the file on koxo.cn.
I haven't noticed any particular bug (well apart from the usual wm 6.1 ones ) since I've been using it (more than a month) but you never know so if you ever find a big one I'll try to correct it and update the rom.
And don't pay attention to the available storage in the ROM, it was an experiment, the phone worked but it wouldn't sync.. Too bad there was 20 MB more!

Also when you type your user & password and press ok, application exits :-(

Java client problem i already explained.
Regarding hanging, i installed smarttoolkit, made a call & when i pressed disconnect button to end the call , it hanged.
Restarted phone & now working fine.

Maybe a problem with smarttoolkit, it freezes sometimes.
Try to disable all effects (shadow/transparency etc) in smarttoolkit options.

This ROM hangs when I tried to quick locate a file in Resco Explorer 6.15 by pressing #. I tried to close the Resco Explorer through task manager and the phone hanged. I had to soft reset.
I am shifting back to Hikey Chinese ROM till this one stabilises.
Where is folder "System"?

This problem with jbed 3.1 is solved by installing the gmail client for domains!

bizarre - whichever way I try to start contacts, Contacts from homescreen, Contacts from Programs..., nothing loads up. The only way I've seen of viewing a contact is to bring the dialer up, enter characters from name, then view contact.

On Elf at first boot:

There is no M2D, but it does have the Microsoft home screen (Titanium?).
It seems to be a very usable ROM, and in my playing I have not had any messages about low memory.
I have found a couple of bugs however:
- WiFi does not seem to work at all (for me at least). With the Elf not being 3G/HSDPA, then WiFi is a must. Any chance of a fix?
- The RegEditor shortcut launches a task manager, not a registry editor. Can this be fixed?
- WinRar is in Turkish. How can I change this to English? After all this is a WWE ROM.
- The alarms only seem to work if the device is in the lock screen. Is this a bug? Or is this some strange "by design" thing from Microsoft?
- Also with the alarm, I have it set to repeat. But it leaves a long period of time (over 20 seconds) between repeats, meaning you do not get a continuous sound. This is not likely to wake anyone. Perhaps this can be resolved by using a longer sound?
- The HTC Task Manager Quick Menu is inaccessible from the home screen as it is overlayed by the title bar clock. I have seen this problem in other WM6.5 (23xxx) builds. Is it possible to disable the title bar clock on the home page? It is not necessary as we have the time as part of Titanium. Would disabling it then make the Task Manager accessible?
Other than that all seems really good.
There are a couple of other things (not bugs) that are worth noting:
- There is only one keyboard available. This is a full qwerty. It is a very good qwerty, but a phonepad & compact qwerty would have been good. I haven't tried installing a 3rd party keyboard, but I have read that these don't always work too well with the larger softkey area at the bottom of the screen.
- The dialer is the standard WM one, not the nice HTC one. But I would imagine that the HTC dialer would take too much memory away? So not a real big deal.

Ok, the "send" button when writing a new text doesn't work for me either. So I'm not quite sure what I did to send when testing. I can confirm that the indicated method of long click in a blank area does bring up a context menu with the send option. Not ideal however. Any chance of the send button being fixed?
I was expecting the linked "wifi reg.cab" file to fix the wifi issue. It doesn't. Installed & soft reset, but still no wifi. However, after installing this cab, I did then have further soft keyboard options. But my joy was short lived, as these do not work. If I select one of the new options, the application hangs showing a portion of the today screen where the keyboard should be. There is no input panel available at all until after resetting the device, when it goes back to the full qwerty keyboard. Cab now un-installed.
I have to be a bit hard on this.

@ www.freetranslation.com most languages can quickly be translate to give users some sort of clue of what's going on.

Hi. I use the Throttle lock, and it makes the incoming call pictures full screen. its pretty nice.

is safe i mean sometimes doesn't get stuck or someting ? im scare to lock the phone and have to do a hard reset lol

Maybe you may use software "PocketShield" (more info you may find here). This software is very good for complete locking solution. I use it and I'm satisfied with it. But it isn't free. But when you create new skin for this software you may win a licence.

I try S2U2 and i don't know if i did something wrong , but my phone was blinking every 10 secs non stop ... and with the wallpapers i try to change them and i could not doit ..

Check it. I have been using S2U2 for a while. It does exactly what you want. It is a little tricky to get setup if you don't go through all of the settings and basically turn off everything.
What I did was turn off every function of S2U2. Then went back and changed my background pic for it, TURNED ON SLIDE TO ANSWER (full screen), added weather to the bottom corner and Voila! It worked. Just spend the 10 min or so setting it up correctly for yourself the 1st time and you'll be pleased I'm sure. Just give it another try.
I would love to have this as an app! It would look so awesome

ok I have throttle lock on my phone, it is bad ass!!! Yes it makes the contact full screen. Check it out, i guarantee you will like it

Hi guys i install the vs 2.41 , i just can see the pic on the middle is not full screen and is can of blurry shady pic what is that ?
on the setting i have Caller ID fullscreen ... The pic it has to be some specific size , pixels ???
