I bought T-mobile MDA Campact II (Charmer) Last Month . I use Dopod 830 CHS ROM (2.13.13.29) . but I can't to use my Camera. I try to install 1 MASD_Dopod_CHS_Camera_flicker_reg_signed.CAB
2 ampda_Camera_Speckle_Fix.CAB
3 CHSCAMERA.CAB
4 Signed_CameraPatch_OV9650.sa.CAB
ALL of them does not work
Please Help me
Errm... The Dopod 838 ISN'T the same as The MDA Compact II. The Dopod 818 Pro is.

I tried Dopod 818 Pro ROM in Charmer . It does Work !!!

Since the camera doesn't work.. it relatively means the ROM doesn't work I had once installed a ROM on my charmer, I think it should be 818pro or 838 (it is WM5 for sure), the camera failed to work. So, I have to go back to the original ROM.
I'm ready to update my rom. Is the Dopod rom still have the most features and stable? :?

I think that there is nearly no difference between Dopod and the O2 Rom.
Will try Qtek tomorrow..
But the Dopod one seems to be the fastest one by now !

I've downloaded the file and noticed that it's not an EXE like other updates. Believe you even have to install it from SD-Card.
If there is anything somebody can help with, just let us know

From the first look, it will be tricky, it's missing things in the OS
however, It might be possible to get drivers for the missing parts from other ROMs (AKU 3.2 or official 2.2)
I will post progress in this thread
jesterz, if you do cook us up a rom can you use the official qtek as the base rather than pdamobiz, all those roms you did based on that one have been rock solid.

I couldn't find info if there is a difference between the Dopod 818Pro and Dopod 818. If there even are two different types? But it seems to me that the Dopod 818 (pro?) is yust another Prophet, so the answer would be: Yes

so i'm waiting aku3.3 althrough
this is going to be a hard one people
the buildimage stops on certain dll files, so it's a one by one process
meaning it will take time ! (I have a full time job next to this....)
however i'm still trying
In the mean time, I'm also looking at farias ROM released for the wizard and hope to have a beta out soon for the prophet.
