I am planning on buying a replacement case for the S710 (scratched screen and keyboard) and was wondering if anyone knows how to properly take one of these apart? I checked the Wiki's and did a search, but nothing came up. If anyone has taken one of these apart, or knows where there's a how-to, please let me know. Thanks!

I have taken mine apart multiple times, I can do it in my sleep now!

Try to get a dummy phone. The type that's used in shops for display. You may be able to get the case off.
I need help, somehow i lost my 5 directions key of the non-qwertypad.
Someone can tell where i can buy a new pad and if theres is a tutorial on how to change it?

you can find the tutorial in the Vox service manual on this forum, but i have no idea from where you would get a replacement keypad.
Other than the service centre of course.

You just need the hard pad? You can glue it back on. Mine ripped off also, I haven't touched my Vox in quite some time. Wanna buy the whole thing so you have extra parts?

Evening all,
firstly my appologies to you all if this is a common question and has been asked before. i run a car forum and know how frustrating that it can be when you have the same thing over and over again. however i have searched and althoughthere are similar problems, nothing exact to my question.
I currently have a O2 XDA Serra (HTC) and have aggreed to upgrade my contract. O2 have sent out a new phone to me, but i had to persuade the delivery driver to be able to keep my existing handset for a couple more days as i have a lot of information to come off the phone. o2 said that they need the phone back on an exchange basis.
Anyway i have managed to get all media and info of the phone, except the SMS/MMS threads. a lot of the messages are of sentimental value from people that unfortunatley aren't around anymore i dont wish to transfer the messages, purely download and be able to read back at times.
is there any software or way of doing thins please?
time is essential hear, and i would be extremely greatfull for anyone to help me out.

I did an radio update and my battery fell out, don't ask how i did it, i did.
There is no way to get life in the HTC magic 32B, because it is bricked.
It stays in the HTC magic logo and vibrates when i put the battery in it.
Yes i've tried the button combo's, it did not work!
The vibrating is nice but to short to have an orgasm.
It would be nice to have a new SPL on it so i can use my phone in fastboot again, so i can learn more about Android roms (what i have learned so far, is what NOT to do).
First it must go wrong before it goes well, right?
I don't have the knowledge and the tools for Jtag, if i had, i didn't have to post here.
Is there someone out there in the Netherlands (that's where i live) who can give life to my dear HTC magic 32B.

Hello All, (and Eugene), I am happy to be a part of XDA now, I've been reading the forums for quite awhile trying to learn. I'm self-taught and most of this still reads like greek to me. I've been trying to root my phones for over a year. I'm tired of buying expensive phones that takes no time to mess up then the yahoo's (not the website..lol) send me refurbished phones even if its been only a couple of weeks. Anyway if anyone is here in the Atlanta GA area I'd be willing to pay to get my phone rooted and install a new ROM. I've bought countless apps only to not be able to use them because of now room.
