i am using spv M5000 which windows mobile 5 based device, i want to upgrade to windows mobile 6, please help me how could i done it, i am very new to such device, your early help would be appreciated

Best is subjective, all depends on what you are looking for... Fully loaded with TouchFLO? Stripped down fast as it can with no unnecessary bloat? You need to seriously take a look at what you need, and then check out whats out there and decide whats best for YOU.

This is the WM6 forum. Try reading the posts in the Wizard board.

No one is going to explain how to upgrade. There are stickies that explain how to unlock and upgrade your phone. You should try reading them.
yup you should read the how to's first, then try the roms, there are a lot of roms to choose from, and most of them are in english, happy reading

I recently bought HTC TYTN II and started using "XDA-Developers".So, Im completely new to this site and the words being used on this forum..My device has Windows 6.1 as OS(Operating System) . What is this ROM? is it OS? If so, When I install new rom....It will delete windows 6.1 ? Just getting confused. Thank you.

Hi there.
i have imate jama 201, with default english windows mobile 6 standard, i tried to upgrade the windows to 6.1, i did that by copy rom files to memory then restart the device.
that process not sucess and i lost existing software, now i just have white screen nothing else..
i tried to contact imate partnet here, but they told me the imate corporation is not exist anymore and the support too.
please can anybody here help me to restore the default rom for this device.
