Has anyone got the Sony Ericsson MBW-150 BT watch working with the Diamond? If so - how well is it working and which software did you use?
Cheers.
I have the watch (music edition) and I am using this software :smartWatchM v1.0.2.0(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=362218)it is a very good software and the functionality is more than I expected.

I back this... I dumped my Sony erricson k850i for and htc touch... Was gutted when i found out that the watch did not work with non S.E mobiles...
UNTILL Smartwatch hit the web... Over the moon.... this software is amazing and does a whole lot more than the S.E system...!
Well worth it..!
Thanks guys - that's really good to hear.

I think it´s not a great "smart" phone...
I'm sure it's OK as a cell phone but it will not be of much interest to most people on this forum.
Ordinary phone VS PocketPC Phone? hhmm... seems PocketPC exels on everything..
SE just have released the WP for the new product XPERIA X1.

You had me at 'hello'.
Hi guys, i need your help, i must choose between this two phones, HTC TATOO or SONY ERICCSON XPERIA X10 MINI. I like a lot htc tatoo doubt to its interface and because i've also tried it, but also xperia x10 mini is quicker and with better photo camera than tatoo, it is also heard that there will be soon a froyo update for xperia... this is a mess. In adition what about market place app it will be limited for xperia doubt to the small screen 2.55"?. I must take the decission by today or tomorrow. What would you choose as experienced user, tatoo or xperia x10 mini??
Your help will be highly appreciated!!!!
My suggestion would be xperia mini/pro . touch screen is good, 5mp camera with AF and flash(tattoo lacks AF), video recording upto 30fps(tattoo 14fps).
i used almost 70apps in the market(only swype not working). AGPS, good x10 uI.
no doubt this will be the best mid range android phone.
soon expecting android 2.1 update and HD video recording
Hi!
thanks for your reply, after waiting and getting that nobody replied i finally went to a shop to see x10mini in a shop. I noticed this phone is a really small one, with a really small screen also that can make you difficult to manage in the touch screen, so i finally decided to go on with tatoo i know is a bit older but i think is a good smartphone.
Hey guys i am a proud owner of a nokia n9. Recently Ics was ported to this devices and ive been playing with it, and damn i love it!!! lol. I think i should be cool if there is a nokia n9 forum.
Heres a quick video of my phone running ics 4.0.4. Keep in mind this is just the 2 alpha release.
http://youtu.be/UNX_kdOHxno
Running google maps!
http://youtu.be/FADFFsz_m9M
What is working:
- based on Android Open-Source Project (AOSP) v 4.0.4_r1.1 (IMM76D)
- Google Applications (GApps), PlayStore (Android Market)
- dualboot kernel (without reflashing), ability to choose OS after power on.
- 3D drivers, OpenGL
- hwrotation
- touchscreen (multitouch)
- hw buttons (volume, power)
- ECI accessory (headset buttons)
- USB networking
- lcd off in sleep mode, electron beam effect
- alarm driver, RTC
- mounting MyDocs as "SDCard" [realized; NOT FIXED, but HACK EXISTS]
- basic video decoding (sw) and playback, youtube (choppy)
- wifi (only basic functionality: able to connect to AP. no tethering).
- basic CellMo functionality: network registration, USSD, SMS, data (GPRS/EDGE/3G), signaling. Actually, ofono/ofono-ril stack is used: all things that it able to do on the n900.
- bluetooth (scanning, can pair devices. I'm able to send files between SGS2 and N9. I didn't test deeper.).
- charging (note: without any notification in UI)
- sensors: accelerometer
- audio: playback (audio routing to: loudspeaker, headset or earpiece)
- lights HAL (lcd brightness)
- root access (via adb shell; su/Superuser.apk)
- fakeGPS (ability to trick system and set any location as GPS fix), no real GPS support yet!
What is not working:
Critical:
- lcd off in sleep mode
- reboot/halt (in R&D / regular mode) few minutes after entering suspend
- battery status

you are totally right.
Maybe nokia will learn that android on there phones will boost there sales much more than wp7 after all several companies in the EU are not impressed by the lumia since its easier for them to sell android and ios phones rather than wp7

I believe someone made the sw2 to work with blackberry phone. I came across that in the web. Just do a Google search for smartwatch blackberry and you should be able to find it. Maybe there you can find info on what you need to do to make the watch to work with windows phone.
Check the link below.

Hmmm that I did not know. They should have released those devices with android and advertised as such. Maybe then, they could be in a better position than they are in now.

I created 2 WIndows Phone 8 apps to work with the Pebble watch which are in the WP store. If I get some time I might try to create one for the Sony. I have the Sony Smart Watch 1. If I am able to get that to work I will probably buy a Sony SW 2 and see if it the Bluetooth protocol is the same. I had a small amount of luck with the Sony LiveView watch but moved onto the Pebble when I finally got that from my Kickstarter pledge.

I have since purchased the Sony Smartwatch 2 but have not had time yet to work on an app for Windows Phone. I still intend to do so once I get finished with the Pebble apps. Otherwise, I just wasted money on the Sony Smartwatch 1 and 2.
Just wondering... Wouldnt it be useless whether you port over actual apps...
