Hey everyone,
one quick question i have - there is one feature I am trying to get on these roms that i cannot figure out.. there is an option that is disabled for repeating txt message alerts - is there any way this can be enabled or any rom out there that has this feature so that when i recieve a txt it will keep reminding with sounds ?

hello at all,
my the voice mail reminder makes me crazy too after i played a little bit with hushsms.. i sent me a message with that tool and now i see always the voice mail reminder in the task bar and every time i start the phone it rings for that...
trying to make a call to my voice mail and delete it makes no change... damn it really sucks - will never touch any software i dont know what it is
i now have a new rom on my device... and the message appears again AHHHHHH
what's wrong? I have really no idea...

Is it the only notification, or are others grouped under it?
Also, look in the registry to see if gives a voicemail count.

It should be the only one. I can push "dismiss" (the message and the icon still are there) or "call" (then i will be redirected to my mailbox... but there are no messages saved).
Could yoou please write down where to look in the registry?

Hello im new to the forum so take it easy on me...lol! I have a lg optimus l9 phone and i love it. my problem is the notifications. On my last lg phone when i got a text i had the option to choose how long or how many times a minute it would notify me of the missed texts or even missed phone calls. does anyone know how i can change this or if even it has this option on the phone and if not what app can i use? I tried a couple of apps already but none are what i needed to keep me notified of missing texts?phone calls.

I usually dont use the custom lock screen that comes with CM 11s, but I recently turned it on and noticed that it's displaying one unread text message. The problem is that the message that it's displaying is super old and that thread has long since been deleted. Anyone have any idea how I can remove this? . Thanks so much for any help that you guys can offer. I also only use the default SMS app. No hangouts for me.
*apparently I can't post pics until I have at least 10 posts. But again any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try clearing "CM Lockscreen" cache & data and see if that helps...
Setting > Apps > All > CM Lockscreen
Thanks for the tip! I tried it and it didn't work unfortunately. However I did resolve the issue by deleting all my text message threads. Once they were all cleared, the stuck displaying message was gone. Thank you for the help!

i get a notification sound for my 1st message but when i in the conversation , it doesn't play a sound for each message after that as long as i am on the active conversation window.
is there a ways to have the s6 play the notification sound for every new message received i cant seem to locate this option.
good question. I'm actually wondering the same thing. If you have text messaging app active, then you get no sound notification at all when new texts come in. Very annoying especially when your screen is off.
Anyone knows how to fix this? Thanks.

I would recommend going into the stock recovery and manually wipe the phone. Before that try to wipe the cache partition first, that usual resolves issues with applications.
No its not just my device as my friend on lollipop 5.0 s5 also has the same issue. it has be somthing else like on KitKat it used to have an option to notify for every new message however I can't find that option in Lollipop

Do any other notifications ring well? Does your phone speaker function well?
If yes, please check the Bluetooth settings or any other settings that connect your phone to a Bluetooth headset, car kit, earphone, smartwatch or any kind of speakers. Make sure your phone is not connected to any of these.

Go setting then go to battery setting then tap on other and click on WhatsApp app disable two functions that stops WhatsApp to run in background.
