Hi guys, need helps for sorting sms. I sort my sms by 'Received'. Now the problem is, the sms is descendingly sorted rather than ascendingly sorted.
The latest sms now appears at the bottom yet the oldest sms at the top of the inbox.
Any of you know how to reverse this? It's pretty annoying have to keep scroll to the bottom of the inbox.
Select Received again and the order will change.
Gosh.. I never know that! Almost wanted to hard reset already...

I just got an HTC Fuze yesterday with AT&T and I haven't flashed it yet but I was wondering if this was a 'problem' with this Raphael phone in general.
The problem I am having is that when in TF3D and I scroll to text messages, I see 6/6 for text messages that I have received. However, when I click on the "All Messages" tab on the bottom left, it brings me to Inbox where I only see 1 Conversation with just one recipient (the one I have replied to). The other 5 messages are nowhere to be found in there unless i get back out to the TF3D main message.
It is even worse when I slide out the keyboard to enter the other mode. I can't see any of the 6 messages in my Inbox. Is this a bug or something wrong with my settings? Are the rest of you guys able to see ALL of your text messages when you guys are in your Inbox?
Can you please let me know if this is working as intended? Or if I have a faulty phone?
Surely someone can just state whether or not they can see all their text messages when they click on "All Messages" on the Messages tab on their phone....

It should be thatyou see every single message (sent and recieved) in your all messages view. Your situation is strange, unfortunately I can't tell you what to do. You might wanna try a hard reset, but beaware that it will erase all your data.

I had the same exact issue when my friend told me to install this Diamond Tweak program. It has a lot of tweaks in it that I want but it has screwed up my texting so I can't afford that. A fix for this would be awesome if someone knows what's going on.

I recently flashed a custom ROM that I really, really like, stable and fast (HelteROM). But there's a HUGE glaring issue that's wrong with it, and that's threaded SMS.
For some reason, I can't respond to texts at all while threaded SMS is enabled. Opening the SMS from the TouchFLO 3D tab, opening them from the inbox, it's all the same: the words SMS/MMS show up on the taskbar, but otherwise the screen doesn't change. The SMS doesn't load for me to reply to it.
Tapping the X does nothing to remove the SMS/MMS text from the taskbar, either. I have to press the Home key to be kicked back to the Home screen, and I STILL haven't been able to open the SMS to reply to it. ;_;
Turning off threaded SMS from Advanced Config lets me respond to the texts just fine, so I know it's a threaded SMS issue. Is there some sort of cab that I can install to fix this issue? I've run into the same problem numerous times from different custom ROMS, but I've dealt with those by flashing different ROMs instead. I wanna stick with this ROM, though, so I could REALLY use the help!

I have the same problem that you describe on my stock Sprint Touch Pro. I cannot open or reply to SMS messages when threaded SMS is enabled, but I can see them in classic view.
This happened pretty recently, and I think it was because an e-mail that it for some reason didn't like was forwarded to my phone as a text message.
I've tried deleting the cemail.vol file and that didn't fix it. If you figure this out, I'd love to hear the solution.

When I type an sms message (mainly in landscape mode)often happen that I press SEND instead of shif/space.Is there a cab or registry setting for this, if i want at least to get a question, am i sure i want to send it?Or other sollution idea?
Second:
If I send an sms i always get the delvivery report in a separated sms.
Is there any way to "attach" this information to the sms i sent, and not see always that delivery sms?Just get info if i check it?
In my old SE K300i I never had to delete the delivery sms' because they were not separeted, just i could check the sms status.

you can add a send button in the message using the BsB tweaks.

Yes this is annoying coupled with the lack of Sent notification!
"send button" just means you accidentally send a sms when i type " P " or something. left softkey send is actually safer in portrait mode since there are arrow keys above it.
is there any way to display a "send message?" confirmation dialog?
i'm sure there isn't any tweak for that right now?
I saw a soft that need a slide to send named Slide2Send.
But it's only a beta.
I'm sure it could solve the problem.
any1 got any more on this? especially changing the delivery notification sound with out changing the sms tone. I like the idea of the slide to send but so far for me the htc messaging is fine except for the placement of the send button just a confirmation pop up box would be spot on.

Hey guys im having a threading issue with sms. this happens on every single ROM ive ever used htc messenger or not. instead of threading it groups sent and recieved top and bottom. i delete all the messages, doesnt help. this drives me NUTS!! i have to scroll through 70-80 some messages to see what was said two messages ago. totally defeats threaded messaging. please help anyone! i cannot articulate my frustration with this.
posted a screen shot of las 6 messages this will continue untill i hard reset or reflash.
What am i doing to cause this? it happens seemingly at random.

Very odd. Whenever I reply (text message) this one person, this is what is already there in my text box on my TB. It's very annoying. It's there automatically, without me entering in ANYthing. So far, it's only happening with one of my contacts, but I haven't tried texting ALL of my contacts yet, so I don't know how widespread the problem is. Does anyone know what's wrong/if there's a fix?

For the fix go ask George's girlfriend.
If I am reading this right, I had a similar problem before.
I entered some text. Had to back out of SMS for some reason. Everytime after that, whenever I open to text the same person, the partially typed message would be displayed even if I had sent a finish version of that message already.
So... did you type in whatever it is that's bugging you before, or did it just appear out of thin air?
I don't remember how I fixed my problem but it was fixed. Try deleting your draft? Rebooting your phone?
Simple, in the mms apk
Down at the bottom there are three or two icons, slide over to the second and open the text message with the text.. now delete it and back out
Repeat the process because sometimes it saves more than one draft
The reason it does this is because the first icon is the "all" tab and so it doesn't allow u to delete drafts
So u have to navigate to the SMS/mms and delete from there

I had the exact same problem. I did the suggestions previously posted. I ended up having to delete the message cache. Do a search on and Android Central for my post since I can't remember exactly what to do.
I found the thread but can't post url. Need a few more posts.
If you haven't got it fixed try:
Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> All. Tap "Messages" and clear cache.
I had this happen.
Go to messaging app, then to menu, then to drafts. Delete the drafts and the problem should be fixed.
