Just wanted to post some pics of what this rom can look like with a few cabs that I've provided in post 1. Big ups to poorlyduck for the dialpad!! The one attached to this post is slightly modded. Found another cab inside his cab just taking up space.

EDIT: I fixed it, very simple, just 2 missing registry entries. I'll re-cook and up the new rom tomorrow along with a cab for those of you that already downloaded my rom. Instructions on how to fix below for those of you that are registry savy:

Flashed it and inserted "Category"="Ring" since the other "Script"="apw3r" was already there. Calls coming in fine.
So far the rom runs fine with whatever apps I have, at least installed fine. Some apps not tested but majority are fine.
The only regret here is the comm manager and dialer used. For comm manager, I have cabs to install to whatever I like but for 3G dialer, I've yet to find one working 3G dialer with nice skins to match and smartdialing. Most of the nice 3G dialers with nice skins and smartdial are cooked into roms. Any help on this area would be appreciated.

Entries were already there? Wierd. I wonder why it was missing for me. Maybe a cab you installed put them in? Anyways for everyone else, if your ringer doesn't work just install the cab.
As for the Comm Manager and Dialer, just post a pic of which one you want and I'd be more than happy to try and make a cab for you. Usually not too hard finding the files since everyone in XDA shares and most dialers are either based on Touch Dual, Kaiser or DxC so should be fairly simple to make.

i d/led the version of the rom that you pulled off the net last night because of the ringer issue. I also d/led the patch cab to fix it but there were other problems that I faced. When i installed certain cabs, such as htc home plugin, that usually need the kaiser to restart directly after installation, for some reason didn't need to restart. So i was like ok, no big deal. I then soft reset and when it loads windows it sits there for about 10 seconds and then pops up this white screen with an error for a split second then restarts automatically and continually does that until i hard reset.

Might be the version of home you installed. Install the one from my cab pack and see if you have the same problem. My cab will not ask you to reboot so reboot manually if needed.

Running a test to see if I finally figured out what is causing the lockups for me...
Hopefully I've got it nailed down this time around.

I managed to get it to lock up once with nothing but BBC installed & changing the BT settings.
I then hard reset & immediately loaded ICS 6.0 from your CAB.
So far it looks like I can do everything with BT just fine with BBC installed & running on the phone.
We'll see how it does after it's been running a few hours, but I think that might have been it. I never bothered installing the ICS part on the other ROMs, but I also never took it out of the working 3.55 build I tweaked.

So ICS fixed it then? Great news. That 6.0 cab was made by Chainfire for use with WMWifiRouter. I always remove the Internet Sharing from my 6.1 roms because I read somewhere that when you tether using the 6.1 version of IS your carrier can track your usage.

I used upx 2.00w - perhaps the problem is that you can't upx dlls, only executables - and your office files have been maybe compressed yet

Great job Jimmy, I've tried so manny roms and this one is realy fast and stable.

be cautious in upx-ing - some programms "can" be packed on PC version(icon excluding etc...) without problems on ppc later...some can't be packed at all..
i.e. isilo can't be packed at all ,so it may be roulette with custom oem packs..too.

Camera problem

only one problem, the camera didn't work from the camera program shotcut (start --> programs --> camera) it happen with me twice even I've restarted the phone. but it works fine now.

Have both versions the contacts problem ?
The Wifi fix will be in v2, i didn't have any time to check it thoroughly before releasing, this is the reason why i didn't add it into either of the rom versions.

Just flashed it, phone boots correctly, will do further testing the day after tomorrow.
End it definitely is not a Vanilla ROM, in case anyone has doubts.
PS. Would You please provide us with a start image flash? This grey image looks very nice.

Where are the .RGU files?
I just dumped this ROM and all the .RGU files are missing. I know this saves some space but how can I build my own ROM without these? I thought this was a KitchenROM?

Hello,
This rom is based on Xtriny.X4S wwe blue version rom with embedded Greek Extended 0.2.1.2 and Radio 03.07.90 (Although i change the name of rom to 1.11.405.1B).
Major speed upgrade with storage memory:46.67mb used:7mb and free:39mb and program memory:49.91mb used:28mb and free:21mb (note this numbers are with programs and application loaded on my ppc as every day use.)
All thanks to Xtriny for this nice rom.
To my Htc touch 3450 works excellent.

It is still a test version.

First I noticed different boot screen. Thought my lcd broke, because weard green colour, but it did not.

Installation:
How to install a cooked ROM.
Install ELF Update SPL (USPL) v1
Put device in bootloader mode (Reset + Camera button).
Run ROMUpdateUtility.exe.
After update you have to wait for 2/3 minutes till your device reset.
Now you are ready to use your WM 6.1
Final Notes:
This ROM is free to use but at your own risk, I take no responsiblity for any conflict, fault, or damage caused by this flashing procedure.
Do not try to restore your backups from a previous ROM.

File wktm_Italian.lng, that is present in the ROM, it's only for WK Task Manager. Solution => extract the file italiano.lng in "My Documents" on your ELF and move the file with TotalCommander in "windows" directory. From Total Commander select the right file.
HTC Home:
4 Tabs to 6 Tabs:
You have to copy HTCHomeSettings.dll in windows directory then import HTCHomeSettings.reg with TotalCommander in Elf registry. Soft reset your Elf, now you have to go in impostazioni->oggi and use the new tab settings.

This is the newest rom ported from Sony Xperia 1.

Ok I flashed my elfin with it this morning and I am very pleased with this rom!
First it looks very very nice !
The Diamond like Home / Dialer are very nice!
Then it's very smooth and very stable!
It comes with the following app :
- Office Mobile
- psShutXp
- Black Bars
- Synchro Time
- Task Manager
- Advanced settings
- Camera album
- Pocket Screen
- Games + Rubik
- HTCHome 4 buttons (have to play with registry to change the tabs)
So it is quite light rom too.
The cube has not been customised (which is good to my taste)
There a bug between the cube, camera album and pimg.
When you launch htc album from the cube images and videos (pimg) launchs first the HTCAlbum gets the focus... but oh well...
i had some synchronising issues with the Shadow 2.1 TE, and they are all gone now.
I didn't experience any overheating of my Elfin
Best rom so far to my taste.
As I have an Elfin I don't really care about memory usage, but as it says it doesn't seem to be taking to much.
Basically, GO FOR IT YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED !

Works for me.
Just unzip and put it in "\Windows\StartUp\"
or put it anywhere else and create a shortcut to it in "\Windows\StartUp\"

I have made a new ROM for Elf using the ROM : RUU_Elf_DOPODASIA_WWE_1.11.707.1B_4.1.13.42_02.93.90_Ship
It only contains the OS and have not included the updated Radio.In future releases, I shall be providing the updated Radio as well.
This is what you will get after this ROM update :

This is what I have removed from the original ROM :
1. Acrobat Reader
2. Power Point ( will replace it with a compressed version in future releases)
3. Windows live
4. Streaming Media
5. HTC Home plugin
6. Windows Update (Does not make sense in case of a custom ROM)
7. All ringtone files ( except for the default Windows ringtone).
8. All unnecessary picture files
9. The mp4 video.
Known issues :
1. Registry needs to be optimized by removing entries for removed applications.
2. Office Folder Icon in Programs Menu is Missing.
Let me know if there are more.I have been using it without any problem for about a week now.
Future Releases :
1. Will include the updated Radio( need someone to give me 2.97.90, I have 2.95.90) in the ROM update
2. Power point will be re-inserted ( compressed version)
3. Cabs for the removed applications.
5. Known issues will be resolved.
