My current smartphone is slowly dying. After having upgraded due to hardware failure 3 times in the last two years (motorola mpx220 hinge broke, qtek 8500 mainboard broke, htc s710 earpiece failure) I dont want to pay top dollar for a new handset so I just want the cheapest smartphone or windows mobile device that I can get - any ideas (uk preferably)

Hey guys, what's the absolute cheapest pocket pc phone that has touchscreen. I am looking for the cheapest possible thing. you can get some of the older ones on ebay for a relatively reasonable price. Some of then even come unlocked, courtesy of the great people here.
Personally, i would get him a Wizard or an Artemis, but those might be slightly out of price range.

It is a pocket pc with touch screen and has mobile 2003 OS. It comes with carrycase, car charger, USB lead, and car holder. I would sell it to you for £40 + postage if that is of interest.

LOL! I was in the same boat when I heard Expansys had 25 in stock this morning.
Even with the £10 off voucher I had, I considered the dock really expensive for what it was - but it looks so slick!
Checked Expansys this afternoon, 11 in stock - and its a clearance product meaning they have no plans to stock it again, so I caved!

Seems all is not lost as a company in London appear to have got it back up and working (or so they tell me)

i have a spare tornado, doesnt charge but eveything works...u need to change the battery once its depleted, put it in another tornado and charge it.
u can buy it from ebay it's tooo cheap there got one from there last month.. look for it at ebay.com sumwhr around US$ 27-28
