yeah you can, you should have the notes app already on your phone and MS word mobile all of witch will allow you to take notes, the former will allow you to save your 'handwriting' if u so wish.

What is the best option to display current weather conditions using minimum space in the homescreen? I do know about Elecont weather etc, I was looking for a free alternative.
I did try the Mini weather freeware app, but I could not make it do the autoupdate.
I was concerned with having a quick look to find the exact temperature before heading outside. If I needed the detailed weather, I dont mind launching another app to get the detailed view, but for a quick peek, a current condition display (and an optional minimum and maximum) is what I need.
I tried Pocket Weather, but it doesnt carry a current conditions on the homescreen.
Suggestions, please help
Try weather 2 go
google: wtg42.exe
updates fine through proxy for me.
Sorry bro, that app is for Pocket PC, I needed an app for smartphone (Windows mobile Standard, not Professional)
Thanks anyway for the suggestion
I use SPB Weather.. does the job. Can be setup to have a one line summary on the today screen for the week and then you click on the day and it shows you detailed.
Not sure if it was free or not, if it wasn't it was dirt cheap.
GUYS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE
I know all about the Pocket PC apps, pls suggest a SMARTPHONE VERSION

ccpraveen - If you want a Smartphone version, maybe you should post/search in Smartphone general
Here's a promising hit searching for 'weather' in that sub-forum:

Hi,
They will work, but navigating in the interface will be 'difficult' if not to say impossible...
Dirk
As mentioned above, it depends.
It is possible to write an application that will run on either PPC Touch Screens, and also on smart phones, but the decision must be made at the design stage, and the application must decide which type of device it is running on and act accordingly.
Smartphones will not generate OnClick() events (.NET) or WM_LBUTTONDOWN messages (Win32), only key related events. If the app was written only for PPC clicks and not to react to key presses as well, you could be in trouble.
Hello .. Could anyone help me please get Notes Program for HTC HD2?
Try Agile Notes - finger-friendly & free.
Has anyone used evernote? I've read about it somewhere, and also heard it is really good. Would like to hear some opinions.

Hello,
it works nice, but you must connect to internet - uploading your notes(text, voice, shots, ..) to your email.
I prefer Notes App. works in the mobile it self not via internet connection.
Regards
from where do we download the notes app to use on my HD2 working with WM 6.5??

You can use it as a mouse so you can click to go next in the presentation.
Isn't that what you want?
but aren`t there like special programms for powerpoint?.. for example a little view of the next page, or a little field to put on little notes and so on?
in PowerPoint mobile 2010 there is an option for that. it asks you to download a software from microsoft.

The only problem is the non-standard BT stack in the HD2 isn't supported:- Bummer!
Salling Clicker can do what you're asking for, not sure how their support is for the HD2 though.
Please, I need help!
Is it possible to find somewhere a original software (Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional) for HTC Touch Diamond... When I got this phone it was this software but on Dutch languange, and my friend installed me a WM 6.5 but it was too slow... I want that software where I can again choose different type of keyboards, and not be able to write messages only with my pen, I want to use my fingers to write text! I want again that keyboard on screen which you can choose from messages menu. Sorry if I made mistakes in text, my English is not so good!
I hope you will help me!
Thank you...
