When will that windows 6 be available that allows the connecting to the wifi with using wpa+tkip? Because the present roms dont let them connect. It would be very good to solve this problem!

I have flash the PDAVIET 2.10.10 PV business version.
first view: Dammmmm it is very fast ROM!!! so far one issue: no sound by screen tapping other that no problems.

PDAVIET dont do that sort of thing, they just customise other people's roms

Yeah they just use kitchens to add OEMs, skins, plug-ins.
The base ROM is still either from Midget or Ivan.

The Dialer skin is VGA, the Today is not but looks ok.

Try to install the WM 2003 alpha version 1.02b of PointUI Home.
And you will see the difference !
For all frenchies, a french version is avalaible here (cab all in-one, simplified installation !).

The screenshots above are some ideas for new features to the program. I installed this program; it is simple and nice User Interface. Very well done and the best thing is that is totally made for WM2003. My Magician is another phone now. Some minor bugs that I consider acceptable for an Alpha release. I think it is worth to try. Things that I like: Lock when turn on device, "Touch like" navigation, Turn on Bluetooth just when the Phone Rings and Off automatically when you hang up, nice call history list. Things to be improved: New Dial Pad Skin, Messages and Contacts List like the call history list, On the Running Applications; it could give you the option to Stop them. Just waiting for new releases with improvements for this nice work.

1. Choose any picture (jpg file) you want to put on .ui Home background
2. Rename this file bg.jpg
3. Copy this file in the Home folder (by default) : \Program Files\PointUI\Home\1.02b\
4. Stop and re-start PointUI Home

You don't need TouchFlo on your device to use this cube.
To launch it quickly, I'm using a hardware button which point to the link Cube SCLPC++.

The rom is a recook by PDAVIET. Downloaded and installed it this morning. Fast, clean, BIG storage after initial boot. On the way to work now, no time to post screen shots.

To ghekua: this is just an awesome recooked ROM posted on PDAVIET.net ( just check it out guys good pda website great value ). I flashed it on my PDA and there's only one word to say: amazing. Keep on cooking ghekua, then u'll be a great chef

This rom is recook from TNT 20273 vanilla.
Its not a WM7,its a recooked wm6,there's no official release of wm7 as yet.

I discovered a nice application : Showaco reSTART. It allows you to rearrange the start menu, add custom icons to folders or applications...
However, I can't make it work on my HD2. Anyone else has the same problem ? A component is missing... maybe it's not compatible with HTC Sense...

Haven't tried installing it on the HD, but there's better programs avaliable to do exactly the same things. Try JSPAProgramManager, JWMD IconChanger.

restart works fine with my Hd2. possibly you don't have .net compact framework 3.5? if this is the case then take a look at the "hints tips things you may not know" thread in the leo area.

What errors do you get?

Did you have a english or france rom? Because i had a dutch rom and it aint working on that rom because in english the startmenu was under windows\start menu and in the dutch rom under windows\startmenu (without the space). Just checked: Restart is starting on my hd2. I also have .net compact framework 3.5

You're the man, the start menu has to be created as 'Start Menu'.

Quick review:
A little slower than wm6.1 (maybe its just me)
Very finger friendly
Touchscreen sensitivity is better, a very big plus!
Most wm 6.1 apps work well
Not all wm6.5 apps work (don`t know why, maybe it`s my fault)
All in all it`s a preaty good ROM, don`t know about battery time, i`ll update you on it.

Anyway... i realized that i did not use it all that much, but havimg WM 6.5 is HUGE step forward for the old magician, so any progress is a good progress. keep up the good work!

Overal realy good rom. Sometimes it crashes,, but i understand that for a first release. I just crashed for about 2 times today.

so any info as to what you did? did you remove everything but the essentials or just went with it and hoped that the ram would suffice?
EDIT: also, is there anyway I can remove titanium or the default today plugin (so that it doesn't use memory at all, I would rather use manilla2d)
