I am using sipchange on my Polaris (O2 Orbit 2) to always have the standard keyboard when I'm turning the device on or when soft-resetting.
But since two weeks I am discovering the following problem: When turning on the device tells me: 'sipchange could not be opened, ... not secure certificate ... or one of its componenets could not be found...' and the keyboard has not been set to the one I had selected to be in sipchange.
I already installed sipchange again, but problem stays. And i can not find it in programmes to uninstall it correctly.
Can anybody tell me how to repair or uninstall and install it again the right way?
Regards,
Mark
I found the solution on my own:
Simply install a special version of sipchange called 'SIPChange_Camel-Fix' and now everything is fine again. I don't know why the standard one worked for about 4 months without any problems and suddenly stopped without any change to the system.
I install SipChange on HTC HD and after softreset and after loading TouchFLO:
Problem with sipchange.exe
And click on Don't Send a problem...
SIPChange_Camel-Fix will solve a problem?

I deleted the folder from My Device > Program Files and then removed the startup link from My Device > Windows > Start Up.
I am not sure if it is in the registry somewhere, but this prevented the message you mentioned from popping up.
Edit : And might I suggest PCM Keyboard, I am using it now and quite impressed.

Did you make any changes lately? Such as reg entries or app installs?
Hello,
No matter what application I would try to install, it would fail right away. I thought that maybe the last application I installed was the problem, so I went to uninstall it from the settings menu. When I got to the Remove Programs list, it was empty! I cannot install or uninstall applications!
The last program I was able to install was this: http://wmpoweruser.com/?p=3646
Can anyone help me fix this, or will I need to hard reset?
I gave up and just did a hard reset.
SKTools

Cheers

i have same problem, i do tweak registry settings, but haven't for about 2 weeks before this problem happened. tried to use sktools to uninstall programs, but same result.
any suggestions? i do have a registered install of sktools for smartphone.
btw, im using a BJII with 6.1
Also, just realized i cant access the "about", "Accessability", or "owner info" info in "settings", it gives me "ERROR The settings could not be opened"
however, "version" and some others in the "settings" menu work fine (i haven't gone thru and tested all of them)
I have already performed a couple soft resets, with no change. seems like something pretty basic is F'ed. any ideas would be appreciated, i am planning to hard reset tonight if i dont get this taken care of...... So so much to re setup/install.... :-(
i did a hard reset, reflashed my bjII to the most recent 6.1 ROM. and now it is doing the same thing AGAIN!.
i have done no registry mods besides unlocking the keys ATT tries to restrict for their ghey medianet/cellularvideo links. and that has NEVER caused any issues before.
i Have installed:
NETCF3.5
Live Search
LEDAlertsSP
GoogleMapsMobile
Resco Explorer
Opera
SKTools
Increase Ringtone size to 25mb
the only app i haven't tried before is Twikini (a twitter app) it seems to work perfectly, but it is the only thing i have not had on my phone for an extended period of time.
Anyone with advice on how i can go about finding out what the real issue here is please lemme know.

Hello I think it wasnt necessary, I had the same problem twice, and flashed it again, and restored the rom and it keeped on non working. So the first thing i did was to unmount the sd card and mount it again and it worked for a while.
Afterwards I format microSD card- FAT32, other guy wrote in a forum with 4096.
here is the link hope it works for you

Many people encounter the following computer problems: take a long time to start up, load websites or run programs. Recently I find functional software which can fix all these problems just with one click: tuneup360, maybe you guys could have a try.
Actually most times there is no need to rebuild or reinstalled your PC windows system, what you need is a PC protector. TUNEUP360 is good choice, you just need to click one big “fix now” button and get your computer fixed at once. ---By DearBrands Software
Dears,
I have been using my HTC P3600 Trinity for 2 years, last 1.5 years, I am using with ROM: 31XiTNY-STD.
I was not happy of the memory and decided to use another ROM and problems started.
After flashing different ROMs such as 31XiTNY-SXY, FInixNOver v3.7.2 - M2D, allmost all, etc. everyting go well at the beginning and suddenly (eg: changing some contact info, or adding picture to a contact or afrte new software) it bloked itself. Even soft reset can not be a solution, it stay at the first screen (I can not see windows again). The only solution that I found is flashing a new ROM but after few program installation it happens again and again.
Can it be a hardware problem or have you faced such a problem before,
Please help, I do not want to use my Nokia 6310i again
If it can be a hardware problem, any idea about repairment.
Best regards from Istanbul.
First I installed XDA shutdown to perform soft resets. Then the memmaid demo to further my efforts to be clean & mean. Just installed s-k-tools to my HTC Sprint Touch Pro 2 (because memmaid demo misreported my memory!)and after running clean I'm getting cprog.exe & sktools.exe errors and now "bluetooth stack failed to load" -my friggin bluetooth wont load. Only other non stock thing is Duttys disable push internet. Did I make a mistake in purchasing this tweakware? Can I rectify these situations without a hard reset? Somewhere along the way the black screen after softset thing occurred too.
SKTools works for me.
I have SKTools working on my Verizon TP2 without problems.
Make sure you didn't delete the startup item that has BTCE or something like that in it. If you do, your BT will not work.
