I have a Sprint 700wx flashed up to WM6.
Every time I try and install any of the Dial Pad skins that are out there they never seem to work, I still see the regular dial pad and cprog.exe looks like a lump of cack with a sprint logo on it.
Am I doing something wrong? Missing Something?
Joel
Nope. Palm's dialpad is contained in the activecall plugin dll, not the regular WM program. There is a hack to change the dialpad on Treo 750 (should work on a wx I think) but you lose the green button function for most recent call or some such function. Can't remember where it was posted, treocentral most likely. Search treo 750 hacks.

according to this thread of pdaphonehome.com, it is possible in the Treo 700w, so why not the rest of us?

Good question, my SE P800 could do it years ago
I've tried reprogramming the answer button, but it didn't work properly with voice command and caused some other problems. Maybe someone will figure a way to do it with WM5.
remember how we could in WM2003 press up on the hardware keypad to get call history and down for speed dial list in the intellidialer/phone?
Well, I use a wm5 machine now but am unable to do this...
are there any registry hacks for this function?
try this I hape it works for you
it's do exactly what you want 8)

gracias
I am sure I am not searching for the right keywords, But I am looking for a different dial pad or dialer.
I hate switching between "Keypad" and "Call Status"
How about both screens minus the keypad?
My Palm Treo 600 had a nice dial pad. Anything similar?
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Or am I wishing for to much?
Thanks,
Alan

This dialer will work on the htc series of phones..you don't say what type of phone you currently have and my mind reading powers are on the fritz.
Sorry about that.
I have the ATT 8525.
Thanks for the link...

Worked for me
As my subject says, does anyone know where in the registry I should look to fix this? I have been uninstalling and reinstalling S2U2 since about version 0.72 or so and been using it's callerID function as well. So maybe between all the reinstalls somehow my registry has been corrupted? I noticed recently my call pickup and ignore wasn't working in S2U2 caller ID and thought it might be an S2U2 problem. But I uninstalled S2U2 and when I click Answer or Ignore from the WM6 default callerID, it does nothing! It highlights the button as if I were pressing it, but doesn't do anything. Can anyone help guide me for where I should look in the registry? Or any other advice? I have an HTC P4000 (Canadian CDMA Titan) with the carrier (Telus) default ROM of WM6 that it came with.

Brockmo,
When this happens do you have a current connection via EvDO active or dormant? Are you in EvDO coverage or 1X. I have similar problems too with and without S2U2. I have had better luck with 2.17 OS and 1.47.01 radio, if I press the hard talk key several times it will pickup, I found disabling constant evdo connection definately helps. Blackberry is still the ultimate push solution, WM6 is ok, but there is definate issues with prioritizing Voice over Data. Voice should be the #1 priority over any thing else.
on WM5 I was able to see all the phone numbers of a contact in the phonepad. and it showed the last call list in big clear letters. Can I change my WM6 phonepad to the old WM5 pad?
